30-Sep-24
Ive done!I signed into this very shortly after it came out, within anticipation that I would hopefully complete this one day.Well today was that day, I visited GC21 in Georgia and was finally able to complete my JASMER grid.I know that CO was just here not too long ago and completed his fourth (and final) JASMER, so congrats to him!Maybe someday Ill do the same, but for today, Im happy with just one. Thanks for making this challenge, its a little extra bonus for the completion!

Cache has been completely destroyed...muggled to the extreme...After a report of some damage, Gorby went to check it out...it was worse than we could imagine. Someone came here, completely destroyed it and left fire extinguishers?Ugh...anyway. It was fun while it lasted. Darn shame that someone had to destroy one of Gorby's best. Thanks to everyone to visited and especially thanks to Gorby!

Thanks to Gorby and Lumin for getting the lock situation sorted again! The cache lives on! Safety and securely!!

07-Jun-23
[@lumin298](http://coord.info/PR150237) sorted out the cache again. Many thanks to her! Good to go!

VANDALISM!!

Unfortunately, the cache was checked on and part of it has been removed.

It seems someone accessed the cache and removed the Letterbox, Stamp, Ink, logbook and even the drawer and shelf it was in that said “Letterbox Log”.

I can’t understand why someone would just take all of that with them.

This is very disappointing.

If it were to “reappear”, I would be most grateful.

I am having a think of how to reorganize the letterbox section, so that will be missing for the time being.

Geocaching logbook is good to go still.

Many, many, many, many thanks for @gorbygorbachov for coming and making some hardware adjustments!!

Also thank you again for @lumin298 for cracking the new lock code and being the cache protector!

Cache is back in full glory again!

24-Apr-23
Got a message the other day saying there was an issue with the lock. Got it checked out and it seems the lock has reached it end of life.

Fortunately, in anticipation that this would eventually happen, I left a lock with [@lumin298](http://coord.info/PR150237). So she pulled it out and cracked the new code since I forgot it...

Many, many thanks to [@lumin298](http://coord.info/PR150237) for checking out the cache, cracking the code and replacing the lock.

New code : 814

Have fun everyone!

Had a DNF here before when it was missing, but never came back until today.

Out GPSs were telling us the wrong tree, but when we expanded our search, we found it quickly!

Nice to put a smile on this one after 2.5 years.

Thanks!

Staying nearby, so as we walked home, I walked a bit extra to come grab this one.

Can’t leave the closest cache unfound!!

Log was completely soaked, so I added a new one. All good now.

Thanks for all your caches!

We were starting our search when our muggle friend spotted it, she must have been at correct head height, the rest of us not so much!

Thanks for the fun!

Log was dead, completely soaked, I added a new one…at least I’m pretty sure it was this cache I added a new one too…

Another cache we found during our walk, this one gave us a lot of trouble.

I was selected to go into the bush, but it was a bit hard to find an access, eventually I found a way in and was pondering the hint until I finally spotted something that jogged my memory.

Thanks for the fun! Very interesting container, it’s gotten pretty wet in there thought!

26-Nov-22
Back for a very short stop and there were two caches I never got back to, this one and another nearby.

So after a nearby walk at the bridge, I decided we needed to get them before we leave NZ.

Quick run over here and since I chatted with the CO after my last attempt ages ago, I was better prepared for the search.

This time I found it pretty quickly and have to say it’s a really good hide!

Glad to grab it before I go, thanks for the fun!

Had a DNF here 2.5 years ago when it was missing.

Fortunately, it was a nice easy find today.

Thanks for replacing it!

Unfortunately this was the only cache we didn’t find today.

We searched around, but eventually messaged the CO when I found a piece of what I thought might be the cache.

Turns out it was and after another search, we thought it might be missing.

CO is aware, thanks for the quick reply!

Did the first part of this so long ago I can’t even remember, but I got distracted by the DNF nearby and didn’t make it to the final the same day.

This was the second of two caches close by that I wanted to find before leaving NZ.

Walked straight to final coords and after pulling up some series PVC fishing pots, we shifted our focus and I eventually noticed something out of place.

Turned out to be the cache!

Nice to get this excellent milt before leaving.

Really amazing job, thanks for the fun!

Out on a final walk with a few people before we leave, nice to select this walkway with some caches, an AL and stuff for muggles.

One of the several caches we got today during our walk, was a nice easy find. Everything fine here.

Thanks for the fun!

Noticed the CO had put out this new AL and we had plans to meet up with him today anyway, so I called and said we should just meet down by the bridge!

He agreed and we wandered the bridge with him getting all sorts of extra facts and even noticing the little baby Pohutukawa they have planted!!

Great to catch up and see you again during the out short stop here.

It’s been fantastic to get to know you and you’ve really make our time in NZ special.

See you again! Maybe here, maybe Seattle, maybe ???

Take care!!

Stopped by for a little clean up, check the TBs and drop off some geocaching containers and supplies I picked up at the MEGA in Victoria.

It’s not much, but something for people to use!

Have fun everyone!

Cache will now be watched by local guardians (Lumin298 and Gorby).

As of 25 November 2022, this was the LetterBox stamp log.

As of 25 November 2022, this is the Geocaching LogBook.

Was certainly not expecting that!

Very nice and creative little contraption!

I cleaned some rubbish like stuff out of it, but overall it’s in good condition.

Thanks for the fun!

Beautiful viewpoint nearby!

Sat and had lunch for a little while after we found the cache (and the oldest nearby.)

Thanks for the fun!

Headed to the airport today, but we had a few hours to kill, so we thought this would be a fun way to kill that time.

Drove up here and enjoyed the views while eating lunch.

Read your story and noticed there is actually a car down the hill, yikes!

You chose a great place for Victoria’s first cache!

Thanks for placing it all those years ago and maintaining it as well!

22-Nov-22
Nice spot to put a cache!

Certainly decent views between the trees.

I found the cache easily and removed some rubbish stuff from inside.

Thanks for the cache!

Came up here to check out the view, but of course I took a small detour to find this cache.

Checked a few places and then stood back and said to myself “what around here make sense?”…then I spotted the likely spot.

Turns out I was correct! All good here!

Thanks for the fun!

Upon arrival, I found the wand no issue…but when i opened the compartment there was a big spider there, I thought maybe it was a fake meant to scare us…so I ignored it…then it moved!!

I was working at figuring this one out and struggling, so I called my partner to come down and see.

She took the wand and had it open in about 8 seconds…I must have loosened the lid!!

We inspected it a bit before putting it back together and I suspect a few parts of it are not working optimally and might need a little work.

Thanks for the fun! Really nicely built contraption!

Nice easy find while I stopped to stretch my legs.

Thanks for the cache!

Funny little street!

Never heard of the show, security guard was very active in watching us. But we wave and headed off as soon as we concluded our business.

Thanks for the virtual!

You’re definitely correct, it wasn’t expected!!

But it was really well done!

Such great camo, hardly can tell from afar.

Thanks for the fun!

21-Nov-22
Only found the magnet, no container.

Was having a little walk around the Olympic grounds and just as I took this photo, the weather changed.

Two minutes later it was hailing!!

You can see those clouds in the photo!

Thanks for the virtual!

Took a couple minutes to find it, but eventually we found the right spot.

Everything good here.

Thanks for the cache!

Nice and easy virtual!

Funny how the chapel is now the center of a little neighborhood.

Thanks for the virtual!

I was making a circle of the building and saw this virtual was here.

Nice and easy one.

Thanks for the virtual!

Spending the day walking around the downtown area.

Certainly is an interesting city. Lots of differences between areas when they are only a few streets apart.

Thanks for the virtual!

The river is truly amazingly full right now!

And so even extra brown from the tannin / mud coming down!

Impressive sight to see!

Thanks for the information and EarthCache!

I’m not a huge fan of churches, but I will say this one is quite unique and visually pleasing on the inside.

Walked in and they were having a service, so I slowly and quietly walked around to find my answers.

Was a bit hard, but it ended and I could freely roam. Then I found what I was looking for.

Answers collected and sent to CO.

Thanks for the EarthCache!

This is easily one of the most detailed and well put together informational Earthcaches I have come across!

Nice easy find while headed across the bridge.

Thanks for the cache!

Didn’t find it on my first go, but spotted it from above.

Two containers here right now, I signed both

Thanks for the cache!

I guess I was crazy enough to still go grab the cache.

Found it easily still and was able to safely stand on the ledge to sign it.

Cache outside was actually very wet…the whole area is wet…could water have flowed up to this height??

Contents are dry.

Thanks for the cache!

It’s been awhile since I found a cache and said “oh wow….wow!”, it this one definitely deserves it!

Not at all what I was expecting and it was certainly unique!

Great construction, it’s too bad it’s starting to break a bit - but it’s still well worth a FP.

Thanks for the fun!

This was a quick and easy find, even with all the muggles around.

Surprising to find such a large container in such a busy place.

Thanks for the cache!

Was interesting to walk down the bridge and pay attention to the countries.

Definitely more people from some countries than expected and less from others.

Interesting installation that’s for sure!

Thanks for the fun!

Definitely a funny little cache!

Really not what I was expecting, but I like it!

Thanks for the fun!

Found the lid that was mentioned before. Was informed by the CO later that this is remnants of the old cache which will be removed at some point.

Unfortunately, I had added a new log into it and used a locally acquired bottle cap to hold it in place. (DON’T SIGN THIS ONE)

Sounds like there is a new cache in play and that we should ignore the lid! Keep searching for the new one!

Thanks for the cache and letting me keep my ‘found’ log!

Funny little spot…maybe more of a rain shelter in a day like today than art. But it’s pretty funky still.

Thanks for the virtual!

I would have walked by never noticing it if you hadn’t drawn my attention to it.

Thanks for the virtual!

20-Nov-22
Another round of thanks to everyone who helped make this MEGA possible!

Great fun! ??

Nice easy find while out doing the gadget tour!

Thanks!

“A bit of running” said another cacher as I started the cartridge.

Took three attempts, first one the cartridge didn’t seem to reaction to any location, it just sent ghosts after me.

Second attempt, I got 9/10 and then spent 6 additional minutes searching for another to no avail.

Third attempt, very frustrated at this point, I did the same circuit to pick up the previous 9 and somehow got 10.

How it work, who knows? Wherigo magic I guess..

Over to the GZ…oh man it’s wet here. This area is absolutely flooded.

Fortunately you hung the cache, so even though it was two trees over from my GPS reading, I found it easily and without getting my feet too wet.

Thanks for the adventure!
