Logs for DASHBRAM
05-Aug-16
Found by Dashbram after a beautiful walk along the beach. Tide was on the way in but we were ok. A good hide though
A great hide and who knows what sort of bird laid that egg. We were there on 03/08/16
Dashbram found this on 05/08/16 and it wasn't right where the geocache sent me. I loved the hide because it could have been confused with what could have been there. Well done

With the assistance of team "DEMOLINEUX" showing my DASHBRAM team about Geo caching we headed off on a Friday at about 5pm on the 5th Nov 2010 to try and find this Cache. Team DEMOLINEUX had looked from the Novatel side but were forced back by the long grass and heat in Jan 2010. We found a nice track through the grass and wild Sweet Peas and found some stepping stones to cross the creek so as not to wet the feet. We searched in vain but could not find it. Swearing that the difficulty must have been more than 1 star. We took time to take in the fantastic views and scenery and left with our tails between our legs. A couple of days later I mentioned to a worker from the JCVC that we were down by the creek and explained what we were doing. In his previous work with the company, a few months ago, he was checking out the area and found the cache. Not knowing what it was he threw it in his work ute tub. He blamed kids for it. Well from then on, this poor cache has had to endure endless trips on the back of his ute finally being taken out and left with all other sorts of gear. His resting place was in a shed in the Wine Growing area of EDEN VALLEY. A great place for Rieslings. So today, Teams DEMOLINEUX and DASHBRAM met again and put it back into its hiding hole ready for the next people to find. So when you all find this one just remember the huge amount of miles it has traveled and the fact it went on winter holidays in Eden Valley. Welcome back little friend. What were the chances of this actually happening and then finding it. The story goes that the place where it is, a person lived there for a couple of years and used to sneak off to a young ladies place nearby when the hubby was off surveying with Col Light. Maybe this spot has a spell.
Not where I expected it to be. The female part of DASHBRAM saw it. Stuck out like a light to her. I was so close it could have jumped out and flashed me. Nice very nice. This is a bright one.
After the success of DON'T DRINK THE WATER (look up the log) we went home and took the dog and the GPS for a walk. This was our first cache where you had to get clues to find the actual hiding position. Well we did this and found the cache. A great hiding spot.

Had to wait until all the visitors had left. Must have had a lunch there on this day. Pete the plasterer was there. Saw the truck
This was found on our first day of hunting. This was the second one. Great fun
I thought it was tricky but the other part of the team happened to be on the correct side of the hidding spot.
