20-Mar-22

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

05-Mar-22
A nice little hide.
Still very wet and unable to sign.
The signing book goes back many years and would probably dry out reasonably well (many entries still readable).
Needs new container

22-Sep-21
Found whilst spotting whales in the Derwent. Perfect morning for both activities .
Geocache log damp inside container, but might be from the tennis ball in there!

21-Sep-21
Nice little find whilst waiting for kid’s music lesson

14-Jun-21
Didn’t find it despite looking for 15 mins, firstly in obvious spots, then using the hint.
Searched all possibilities.
Given last entry suspect it’s disappeared

20-May-21
Another creative cache. Thanks

Love it! TFTC

Cute. TFTC

29-Jan-20
TFTC 3rd one today in the area

No wind, bees still there but happy. Ranger came to check on them and learnt about geocaching at the same time

TFTC 1/3 today

21-Apr-19
TFTC, interesting place to go.
Love collecting the scouts .

06-Jun-18
Showing the sites of Hobart to a visiting Seattle-ite
Beautiful views today, sun was out. Still icy on the ears .

02-Dec-17
Accidentally found this one!
Has gotten a bit damp, so cleaned it out, dried log book and replaced the bag. Will need a new pen (sorry didn't have one to fit).
Overnight staying is allowed, 72 hours and need to be fully self contained. We stayed in our camper trailer.
Be careful of the bee hive in the centre trees - put water out for them away from you and you should be ok.

21-Sep-17
Found this cache with snowyhearns after a fun drive and spectacular views.
We are on a 12 month journey around this great country of ours and this was a fun find on this journey.
Also picked up trackable RDPDR 1, even though it is not logged as being here . Moving it to Hamersley Gorge
TFTC

Dropped travelbug RDPDR1

Found with snowyhearns during our visit to the amazing Hamersley Gorge.
Not an easy find, nowhere nearer to park than the gorge car park and had to go through a lot of spiky spinifex - not fun when you sit on it! Still exciting find. Dropped trackable RDPDR1 (even though it was already logged as being here, we picked it up from Driving High and Nameless

12-May-17
First find for us on a 12 month trip around australia. Despite bring 6:30am had to wait for cleaners to move on and try not to look too suspicious Smile

25-Jan-17
Sadly, after much searching by 6 of us we had to concede! Very frustrating.
Amazing walk and caves made up for it. Glow worm caverns and an amazing mimicry and courtship displays by a couple of lyrebirds

21-Sep-16
Well disguised, but hard to avoid muggles - wondered if I would be summoned for looking cagey on any security cameras that may have been in the vicinity!
TFTC

30-Aug-16
Fun find on the way from work to school pick up.
'Cool' container
TFTC

TFTC
The thrill of not being spotted by muggles! Found lunchtime on a work day Smile

28-Aug-16
Good fun searching for this one. Nice surprise to find a swap. Left Smurfette there for an adventure.
Container was a bit damp inside, log book ok
TFTC

Great hide. Missed it the first time!
Thanks for this series

This one has us stumped. Unfortunately had some time constraints today and spent more time than we had looking for this one. Will definitely be back - determined to not let it beat us, particularly after reading the other logs

25-Aug-16
Excited to see this new cache placed on my birthday. Geokids had fun finding if on the way to school today
TFT Very Happy

11-Aug-16
Took me longer to find than expected Smile.
Have put a piece of paper in as a temporary log. Still have to take own pen
TFTC

I suspect this cache has become a time capsule with the amount of digging and works going on in the area. A site fence prevented me from going to the exact gps location. Still interesting to see what they have planned for the area. Perhaps a good place for a new cache once it is completed

03-Jul-16
Kids found this whilst on a walk with their cub group.
Unfortunately the container has gotten wet and log book can't be written in. We didn't have anything to replace it.
Great location

09-Jul-15
Great hide at the end of a great walk Smile

Fun find. Coordinates spot on.
No pencil, sorry I didn't have one to put in.
TFTC

15-Apr-15
Clapping kids loved how this was hidden. TFTC

11-May-14
Happy Mother's Day find. Had to use the hint as batteries on GPS died 6m from hiding spot!

24-Apr-14
Fun find, although we took the long way round and came in from the top!
TFTC

3rd find in a quick stop over back to Hobart. Good swaps (although didn't need the Dreamworks card that was in there Smile ). Fun sharing the spot with very woolly sheep.

23-Apr-14
Fun cache with just the girls of G-O Blues. Originally approached from bottom beach track but decided, with 3 dogs and 8 year old, top approach would be better. Found after a bit of searching. Not sure if the hint still valid, or it may have just been us Smile
Swapped a cricket clicker for 'the scout' - an exciting find for little one moving from joeys to cubs next term!
TFTC

Fun find. Our first nano, so we weren't really sure what we were looking for and nearly gave up twice!
TFTC Laughing

30-Mar-14
Sorry, can't find an email address to contact you. Great little walk and this cache got the kids reading the information signs! Had to get info from 2 different signs. TFTC

TFTC. Fantastic little walk. Kids made a couple of swaps, but left the mouldy dog! Smile
