Logs for Lady Geo & Co 

After seven months in Australia it was high time to find a cache to drop off a trackable. We've been sleeping nearby at Kurnell and drove past it on our wat to the city. It was a quick find in a nice location.

A fantastic location for an earthcache. I really enjoyed my visit here, the blowholes are quite spectacular! I was the only geocacher, but a muggle went with me to visit the blowholes. I'll upload some photo's later. Thanks for showing us this amazing place!

Nice spot for a cache. We drove by and stopped here to find the cache. When I asked for permission nobody seemed to know what I was talking about at first. After speaking to a few people somebody knew what I was talking about and was really excited I was there to find the cache. It was located fairly quickly. The location here is great and the people were very friendly and helpful!

Found this one quickly thanks to the hints and one of the previous logs. Walked down from the backpackers in Neiafu, it's quite close. Stopped for a coffee at Aqaurium Cafe on the way back.

On the way to the Countdown to get some groceries I stopped here to find this cache. There weren't too many muggles around and it was a quick find. Unfortunately the coin that I wanted to drop didn't fit.

Unfortunately I couldn't find this one. Searched for quite a while and it's a bit slippery over here. Almost tumbled down the wall. 

Went for a short walk to find this cache. A quick find. I took it to a bench to log and waited for a few muggles to pass before putting it back. Dropped off a geocoin, it was a tight fit, but I had to drop it off soon otherwise it would have ended up even further from home.

A quick find along a short walk to a beautiful viewpoint. It was very windy today but the view was still stunning.

Even though it was high tide we still managed to reach the cache, gaining a few funny looks from a few muggles. Nice area!

A great location for an earthcache! We didn't toboggan down the dunes, but we had great fun running and jumping down. The area here is really beautiful!!

We found this one on our way to the ferry after we'd been horseriding at Ahipara. Took a little while to locate the cache, nice short walk.

When we were at Cape Reinga we had no idea there was a cache to be found there. On our way back we stopped at the DOC Office near Te Paki to ask if it was okay to drive some of the unsealed roads around here to some nearby caches. We mentioned geocaching and there happened to be a cache at the office! Apparently it was washed away from Cape Reinga. We explained a little bit about geocaching and signed the logbook. The guy at the DOC Office tried to contact the cache owner and was going to hang on to it for now. A really unusual find, but great fun!

Good spot for a cache. Lovely views from up here while the sun was setting. While logging the cache it suddenly started raining and we had to run back to the car. Didn't help much though, we still got wet. By the time we got to the car it was almost dry again.

After leaving Paihia we stopped here to take a look at the waterfall and to find this cache. The cache was a quick find, nice short walk! The waterfall was beautiful and a great spot for a photograph.

After our cruise in the Bay of Islands we got off at Russel and walked up the hill. What a great views! Found the cache quickly. Interesting to read about the history of this place at the Flagstaff.

Lovely place for a cache, really nice area. It was getting dark so we were trying to hurry up but the cache eluded us for quite some time. Found it eventually in a very obvious spot. Thanks for showing us this place!

Really nice views from up here! A quick find. When we were signing the log some people walked up and we stood quietly until they left again. Luckily they didn't spot us.

Took quite awhile before we found this one, the hint mislead us at first, but we found the cache eventually. Great beach and a lovely spot for a cache!

A quick find once on the right side of the cache location. Nice beach and great place for a cache. Good spot to stretch the legs.

A quick run down the road and in the bush we went. We soon spotted the mine opening and shrunk to the size of a dwarf to get the cache. After signing the logbook we went to put it back. We really shouldn't have shone towards the ceiling with our torches, because after seeing the huge weta's we almost didn't dare to put it back. Great place for a cache, really enjoyed the find!

The first cache of the day. Found this one on our way accross the Peninsula from Coroglen to Coromandel Town. Quick find on this nice and quiet Sunday morning.

Took a bit of searching, but found it with the help of a friendly neighbour. Chatted for a bit before heading off to find the next cache. Great spot and lovely beach!

Walked to Cathedral Cove in the afternoon, really nice walk and the beach and cove looked beautiful with the sun shining! Found the cache quickly while no one was looking. Really enjoyed our visit to this beautiful spot!

When we started the walk it was a bit busy here, so we searched for the cache when we came back with almost no one around. Found the cache quickly. Loved the walk to Cathedral Cove as well as the views from up here!

A quick find in the morning while waiting on a phone call from White Island to see if the tour would go or not. A short search revealed the cache.

Found this one after a walk in the Redwood Forest. The Pohaturoa Track, a really nice walk. Found the cache quickly with a bit of help from the hint.

We completely missed the first clue, but we could guess where the second waypoint was and still managed to find the cache. Really nice area and interesting history.

A really quick find and log, wasn't sure where to park and there were lots of trucks driving up and down the road.

We were here the day before, but didn't check our gps, so we missed this cache. Today we were on the way from Butchers Pool to Waimangu and we made a little detour for this cache. Really quiet here early in the morning! Loved watching the mudpools!

On the way to Rotorua from Waimangu Volcanic Valley we stopped for this cache. A quick find.

Found this cache on the way to White Island Tours to see if the trip to White Island would go. Unfortunately it didn't, but on the way to the city centre we could stop for this cache. It took some time before we got it out, but after some effort we could sign the logbook.

After the White Island tour got cancelled we decided to go horseriding at the Tui Gleb Farm. On the way there we passed this cache and since we still had plenty of time left we stopped and searched for it. Found te cache quickly.

After we went horseriding at the Tui Glen Farm we returned to Whakatane and went to find this cache. It was a lovely evening walk to the cache location. There were a few muggles around, but they were more interested in watching the surfers than us. With help of the hint it was a quick grab. On the way back the sun was setting and we enjoyed the views on the river.

Found this one at the start of Kohi Point Walkway. Great walk with lots of caches on the way. Really enjoyed it! Unfortunately we couldn't walk the entire Toi Walk because of the landslip about midway. Great spot for a cache!

Found this one while doing part of the Toi Walkway. It was high tide so we had to do some rock hopping/climbing anyway and ended up with our nose right on top of the cahce. Nice spot, the area here is beautiful!

The last cache of the day. We had a great time walking the Kohi Point Walkway and the caches were fun to do on the way as well. Really nice! Even though we got scratched, dirty and wet (because we just had to look around that last rock near the sea when there was a nice big wave coming) we had great fun finding almost all the caches! Thanks!!
