Off to Gerringong for a day of Caching, this was our first find for the day, a pleasant walk was had by all and after finding the cache and logging the find, we checked out the beach. Mucked around on the beach for a while and then headed towards town.

Last cache for the day, this was a simple but hard to find cache, lunch was great at the hotel, and I was enjoying the view listening to all the searchers saying that the cache was gone. I was about to get up and search a particular area and low and behold it was found.

T – Chuck Key
L – Key ring and a free coffee voucher

Third cache for the day and thanks to the crazy boots of poog&pook the cache was found, with his crazy climbing abilities the cache was found, and a golf ball. Off to lunch now, maybe at the Gerringong hotel.

Second cache for the day and thanks to the crazy boots of poog&pook the cache was found, definitely not for those who don’t like getting up close and personal with a cliff face.

Geoson went out for the day with poog&pook and got this one, an easy find was reported and some muggles were dealt with.

The usual thing was done with the log and a TB was left

Geoson went out for the day with poog&pook and got this one, a long walk was reported and that the find was a bit tricky, by the looks of their photos they had a great time and scored a geocoin for their efforts.

They all most got caught in the storm, there must have been a lot of electricity in the air to make there hair stand up.

Geoson went out for the day with poog&pook and racked up a DNF, they searched high and low but came up empty handed, they obviously needed Geofather and Chucky

Cachers under training what do you do with them ! !

Chucky received a message from some Geo friends, kalmlittleexplorers, that he may enjoy this find, after a week of nagging from the Geo mascot off we went on an adventure to find peace perfect peace, I am not quite shore what he was after but I must admit he does seem to enjoy the grave yard finds.

We found the cache quite easy and ran into some more Geo friends at the site, The pirates of PATE, chucky decided to leave a coin and take some glow sticks.

A very interesting and enjoyable find

Found this one on the way home from Nerriga, definitely 4x4 access depending on how close you want to get, anyway I took the Pajero as close as possible until Geo son started to get a bit worried about getting out.

I imagine there would have been good swimming here back in the day, wish I’d new about this spot 20 years ago.

As stated in previous logs, this find was news worthy, a controversial location with respect to the coordinates. A cache that introduced many Geo teams to each other. Pelusa I think that you did well on this one, It certainly was the topic of conversation in our house for the week.

Geowife and Geoson decided to go down for another look for the second time. 10 minutes after arrival there were Pirates on the scene, a cry of “Muggles†was heard from the bushes and then some introductions and all was set at ease. With the help of The Pirates of PATE, the cache was found.

Thanks from Geoson to the Pirates for the Coin.

Well done Mick – Dyana for the FTF, I must say Mick, that “luck†that landed on your shoulder some time ago is still strong ! ! !

Here is me thinking, I might be in with a chance for my first FTF on this one, I knew kalmlittleexplorers had been yesterday arvo (in the dark, rain and in bicycle gear) so his search may have been cut short, I was thinking Tuena may have been cut short because he may had been rushing the search prior to work, and I knew the Pirates of PATE had been searching in a lunch break. I wasn’t aware that Lucy & Roo, and paysandu had also been there, we got there at 3.30pm today and by 4.30 realised that this wasn’t going to be easy.

I stayed for about another hour and was going to pack it in when kalmlittleexplorers arrived with torch in hand and I wanted to see in the cave.

We had the GPS going crazy, this way that way, but got it down to 10 feet at one stage in the same area a few times, we will recharge the Geoteams batteries and have to try again.

After visiting the Preacher’s Pulpit on the same day, we thought more beautiful views were required.

Sooooooo close to the edge, watch out for the crevices !

A very enjoyable find for Fathers Day, beautiful weather, beautiful views, we decided to take a bit of a picnic on this one and enjoyed lunch at the top of the Pulpit over looking Arthur Boyd’s place.

Came across a small but aggressive Tiger snake on the way down basking in the sun, a bit of a Mexican stand off for a while, but the snake decided we were to big to tackle and took off in the bush. Well done to Max for spotting the snake as it was very big, but as we know extremely venomous.

Also spotted a large Goanna and got a pic of him
