Quick and Easy find on our visit to Brisbane while walking trough the beautiful botanic gardens.

Thanks very much!

14-Jun-14
A quick find on Frasier Island. While the rest of our group was standing at the beach to watch the dingos, I managed to sneak away for 5min. Perfect Timing! Smile

Many thanks for placing this cache here on this great Island!

12-Jun-14
Before leaving Cania Gorge NP we decided to go for a walk to the old gold digging site. It was early morning and we were accompanied by dozends of birds which played a little concert for us Smile

Made a stopover at Cania Gorge NP and of course also had a look at the dam from above.

Answer: no, unfortunately we couldn't. It was early morning and very stormy weather. Sea was quite rough to. We came up after taking some pictures of the kangaroos at the beach.

But the trip trough the rainforest was quite nice. We've seen some butterflies and hit some nasty spider-nets.

Out: Cachekinez TB (will take it back to germany)

On our tour along the australian eastcoast (from Cairns to Brisabne) we also made a short stopover at Magnetic Island where we saw our first Koala at the forts trail.

Found this cache on our trip along the australian eastcoast, from Cairns down to Brisbane.

We also made a stopover at Magnetic Island and rented us one of the funcars to discover the island.

Horseshoe bay was actually one of the very rare possibilities to have a few sunny hours at the beach. I don't know if there ever was such bad weather for such a long period arround here. Does not look like that on the postcards ^^

Found it on our Walk trough the Mossman Gorge. Our first visit to the tropical rainforest. Unfortunately we had very bad weather though Sad

As we are staying overnight just a few meters away on the campground, I felt quite obligated to pay a visit to this cache. If there would have been no cache here, I'd had missed the small path behind the carpark and probably the beautiful mangrove forest too. Thanks for bringing me here!

28-May-14
The hike trough Kings Canyon was absolutely the best part of our trip trough North Australia. The Landscape is simply breathtaking and I hope we did take some great pictures Smile

Thanks for maintaining the cache! I'll cross my fingers that it can stay in this place (since Kings Canyon is an NP since 2012).

After coming back from Ayers Rock & the Olgas, we made a quick break here to enjoy the view.

Cache was a quick and easy find. Simply needed to follow the foodsteps in the sand Smile

Quick & Easy find on day one of our stay in Alice Springs, before we left for the outback.

Thanks for making us coming up here to enjoy the view Smile

03-Jan-12
Before we left Australia we spend our last day in the Zoo, to watch all the animals which unfortunately we didn't see on our jurney (wombats, quokkas, tasmanian devils, ...)

Cache was easily found, but I think the logbook is quite full (maybe I also mix it up ... had been too many chaches Smile

Perth was the very last station of our 1month trip to Australia.

For sure we visited King's Park and climbed up the stairs along the walk.

We've been to Australia for almost a month. Drove >5000KM with a campervan, took ~3500 pictures, seen Sydney, Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Perth ... what a great trip!

And of course we also found quite a number of caches Smile

Yanchep NP was our last station to visit with the camper. Was a nice oportunity to say goodbye to koalas and kangaroos.

Initially we had planned to stay in Coral Bay ... but as it was indeed very crowded, we decided to continue to Exmouth.

Cache was easily found ... no muggles disturbed ... they were all busy enjoying the beach Smile

Again we decided to take a break here, without knowing that there is also a cache in this place. Very nice! At the cache we rested for a while and watched the road trains pass by below Smile

Hate to say it, but Monkey Mia was the only disappointment on our trip. We stayed there for 2 days and didn't see any dolphins at all Sad

Seems like they decided to not visit the beach for at least 5 days after christmas.

Sure you can't blame anyone for it ... bad luck ... but without dolphins this place is only expensive waste of money ...

This was a very beautiful stop, if there only would have been less flys ...

But still a nice beach Smile

Of this one I especially remember that it was hot like hell and there were millions of flys seeming to be keen to crouch in eyes and nose ... horrible.

Made it hard to focus on finding the answers ... but we more or less succeeded Smile

We decided to make a break on this lookout, without knowing that there is a cache. So I was very happy when I consuetudinarily turned on my GPS Smile

Cache was found quickly. And indeed we spotted a couple of Kangaroos in the distance.

This was our first one on KI. What a beautiful spot!! Without the cache, we probably never would have come here, so many thanks for showing this place to us. It was a very nice sunny day. And climbing trough and over the rocks was a little adventure. Especially when suddenly this >1m Goanna showed up next to us Smile

The peak climb was a little exausting that day ... weather was hot and high humidity ... a little rainy. And altough we almost didn't see any animals (despite of 2 emus at the parking area and a few lizards) the view was worth the effort! Thanks for this cache and giving us some education! Smile
