A nice GeoCache yo find close to home, first one in a while, of many! 

A nice easy first cash on our eves valley walk, with 2 extra kids/dogs and 1 more adult. They enjoyed the walk and the finding of Caches. Heading towards spot, knew where it would be. Love the title of this Cach. 

Another one i enjoyed and again love the title. GPS had us walking further, but in saying that should have just open my eyes a little more when remembering the title name 

Well, for some reason GPS had me looking at the wrong spot, so on way back after looking at the view, it pointed us to the right spot and then i thought - duh, why did i not just think of that first. A find with Miss K and Master J. 

The last find of the day - (7/7). Paid our respects to Aunty Margaret on a lovely sunny evening returning back to our 'Pohara Cottage'. GPS worked great. Drop off TB Rosa. Thanks 

Yes a simple cach, but a lovely place to take a moment to stop. Kids loved this one, had a good laugh at the rock! 

Love this spot for alot of reason. Years ago Mr S and Mr A (before C, K, and J) camped here in a small tent for a romatic camp Thanks for bringing us back, kids enjoyed throwing some stones in the 'huge' river. 

A lovely park and Grab, have not stopped here for a while, very very windy day, and could not see Mt Taranaki . But apart from that it was a lovely view with some NZ sheep in the foreground. 

A Nice and easy sign with Master C and Mrs A. We stayed on this Penninsula last summer and thoroughly enjoyed it, so nice to come down this way again. So windy almost lost all the paperwork! 

This in had Mrs A and Master C looking for a bit. First i had a type of micro in mind, so that kept me looking around and around. But then i changed tacked and yay success! Thanks for this, enjoyed it. 

Wanted to come here, thought we would not. After having issues on the road with a very noisy wheel, and getting help from a very helpful and appropriate person to drive past - Industrial Brake and Truck Specialist! on account of the wind we did not walk to W/Beach, driving back desided to do this walk and then noticed that we were nearing a track. Went around track, thought it was at a spot, then GPS pointed dif, hit a hill, bush crashed up the hill, and found it. Legs sore, widh i took a moment when first going past to check GPS out properly. Thanks will come back here again, loved all the rusty relics. 

Well, Well, Well, Mr S made it up on his own, took more time looking for cach than it took going up and down! but had no luck in finding it. If we had a babysitter for junior ( C, K, J ) cachers we would both have another go at it. Disappointed, Annoyed but not giving up yet  

A nice and easy park and grab, cach. Took a TB, taken over the hill for a drop off somewhere, who knows where?:) 

What a gorgeous wee unsign posted track that leads to the river. Not a muggle insight, just the sound of nature! Nothing beats that.

Yay another great find. What a lovely spot with a lovely view. ALways love coming to Rabbit Island with the kids. 

A nice and easy find, after the first time running of time on account of kids needing lunch. Lots of prickles to attend to. 

We have sucessfully found this one - finally. But there were parts missing. Looks like not put back properly and fallen out - 1/2 there no paper to log visit - needs maintenance

Find Number 3 of 6 on a family morning of Geocahching. Love this one. Have not been up this way in a long time, first time taking kids. The kids loved finding this one - what a container! 

Find Number 2 of 6 on a family morning of geocaching. This one had me going back and forwards, but what i learnt is used the GPS and trust it, and read every word for a clue. 

Was supposed to be find number 6 of 6 on a successful day of Geocaching, but no luck. Think i know where to look next, kids needed to get home. We will be back. 

Find number 4 of 6 on a family morning of geocaching. Love walking to this one. Kids played at river, legs to tired. Had to wait under trees for GPS to calm down and then i was on our way. Took a TRAVEL BUG, now to find out what to do next. 

Find Number 1 of 6. FINALLY!!! I am so sure that last time it must not of been there, cause it was really quite obvious this time. Thanks, like the ones that are a bit of a challange! 

Find Number 5 of 6 on a family morning of geocaching. A and C got some more fitness under their belt for the day. Definately a nice view. oh and THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE CONTAINER - EMPTY.

Don't archive it until we find it please, cause i want to get a smiley face on this one, as so close to house where i grew up in. 

Well this brought back some memories for Mr S, thinking back on good times with a friend who sadly died at aged 19, years ago. So thanks for that and tomorrow we will search for something he thought of once again. And i think Mr S is starting to enjoy geocaching . Mr and Mrs found area, kids found spot! 

This one was found using Team Work! Out for a saturday stroll with kids before tea. Never been down this side of the river, but will try it again on the bikes one day - kids enjoyed seeing the animals too! Master C found this one after pointed in right direction. thanks  

Lovely day for a family bike ride and icecream. A nice spot for the kids to hunt for the spot. And then we went for a 'deer hunt' through the bush. Thanks 

Found on 19th Oct - Needs some urgent attention, filled with water and paper just a soggy mess! We will always love this spot, it was an absolutely beautiful day, snow on hills, crystal blue sky with some big puffy white clouds around too! One day we might organised to walk a bit of the St James Walkway - on bucket list! 

A lovely day it was to visit the ducks before tea. Because it was tea time no others feeding the ducks.

First find on rabbit island in the school holidays. A nice quick one. Had to hide for a moment when a log truck went by. 

Well much quiter today and young C loved doing this one as secretly as possible. 

Well this had us looking for a little bit. Sure we were looking in right place, then change angle we were looking at and found it.

I gave it a go at least. Nice spot to sit and have a quick afternoon tea with kids. 

A nice find on a afternoon in Richmond before doing groceries. C + K + J in tow, they played while i checked, then C found, descretly logged visit and then put back. Lots of muggles, but used young J as a bit of a block! 

well, we tried. 1st walk by to many muggles about and the seat occupied. 2nd walk by after groceries only 2 muggles about ...... on the seat! Annoyed. We will be back to try again.
