A Fun find? Visited on July 5 but
Not sure did I find it or not? Found a clown and another clown but no log....
as is was now dark, I'll come back another day and check..

Returned on 12 July - yes found it.
I now see why I could find the main cache in the near dark....

A nice winters Sunday Drive, and a nice find.
Definatly work the wander in this area the views are lovely.
 

Thanks Hypo-Mix, we decided to find both yours in the area, so took a long enjoyable walk.
Found this with a bit of scrambling, the vegetation has grown with recent rains and the small rocks you walk over were hidden.
Mum did a small repair with tape as the bottom had a small crack. 

Our second for the day, with the aim of repair. We took a poor route, if I'd come the other way I'd have avoided the struggle in the trees....
Repaired the cache with waterproof tape.

It seems there were a lot of people in the area today. This spot is great. Why have i missed it before.

Warning to Others, you must take care and most likely get a but dirty to get to cache.
 

A Nice side trip, if it had of been good weather I'm sure the view would have impressed. 

A Cold wet day, plenty of sky but this spot was hard to get a good fix. 

On our way to get some food, why not - one more cache today...

An interesting history lesson, worth the wander. Kept walking past the clue, the sun was at a funny ang;e and the words were near invisible. 

The container is deteriorating, the lid is cracked and leaking. 

Made this a nice walk along the river, parking at the Silverwater bridge makes a nice 4 km round trip.

'Finally I got this one back to Victoria.
If you intend moving this, remember the move locations are not valid in NSW.
But it has travelled, to Sydney, London, Singapore & Dubai. Approx 25,000 kms....
I know well outside its expectations.

Have I been away so long, yes I still have this cache.
Yes I logged it as when I got to Sydney it did not fit in. This cache was designed for particular location that are very different up here.
My week in Sydney turned out to be a longer stay but I'll be in Vic for the NSW long weekend and I will fix this up then.
So "Return To Sender" can hope to be on the move again very soon.
Last time I try to be so clever with movable.
 

The lid is not fitting as well as it could. I had to empty water out of the cache. Maybe a Clip lock would be better. 

What a great spot, pity it was wet when I arrived. Warning too all, if the lichen is wet it is very slippery. ouch.
I was last here about 30 years ago, still a great place.
Their putting in a new amenities block and seats. Bring Lunch and enjoy the view as well as the history.

Noted this Cache had not moved for some time, so Thought I'd make a big move for it....
I've been caught out though, I picked it up no trouble locating it BUT
thought I'd relocate it to Sydney where I was on way to. Surprise, Surprise surprise, I can't re hide it as up here the objects where it is to be hidden are different to Melbourne, both in design and colour. So What to do. I'm in NSW for a week or so and if I can find the right object it will be placed, otherwise it will have to await return to Melb. But it looks like it will be with me longer than 24hrs. Sorry.

My first micro cache and 20th overall. Have to be careful the Muggles don't see, lucky a Kenworth parked right in front. 

Nice spot, found an interesting way to find if via a rest stop on the freeway, probably not the best though.
Lovely spot, will use this for my breaks in this area in future.

Took opportunity while visiting Frogs Hollow to find this. This is a surprising area, If your bringing pets or Kids take care many old open mining shafts.
The walk around the area was very nice a a great break from the highway.

A lovely spot on a lovely day, will bring my wife back here to explore the forest. The Grass Trees were looking fantastic - must have been that little bit of rain after 7 years of drought.

I walked around the cache 3 times before realising the only hiding spot could be.....

Was looking for the bridge cache nearby and decided to pick this up as well. Nice spot - has a cuppa. 

My GPS coverage was a bit off and I was diving through some spiky stuff. Then the coverge got batter and Dohhhh wrong side of the road.
Retrieved The Dragoon Guards Bug. 

Secone cache for the day, I'd never visited this view befor always stopped on the other side of the rive, great spot. Picked up a Geo coin to drop off on my long journey. 

Nice to be able to break you journey. Good views as well, and it was a beautiful day. Some really interestig stuff in the cache. Picke up a Travel bug to take south/ 

An easy find on at an interesting location. Recent rain has greened up the area so there are stock back in the padocks. Had to move the sheep to get to the cache. I've driven over this many times in the past it was nice to really see it and read the history. 

Was visiting the Travel bug lounde and the GPS said hey there's one 60meters from where your parked, so....

Made a trip Melbourne Airport to drop off Pinky for his trip to the USA (I hope). Parking was a worry, but not a problem in the end.
No Pen in cache. 

Another with HypoMix, But it was my wife that found it while taking a rest. Ha to you HM.

This was quite difficult to locate. so many peoplr coming and going I was constantly having to do something else. Hint Avoid a Nice day on a Sunday......

Took a late afternoon drive in the forest and located this cache just as the sun set. We stood there in awe watching the sun go down and the kangaroos come out to graze.

Originally missunderstood where the cache was and came from the wrong side of the mountain, As a restlt we found "Melbourne 1st" instead. Then as we left realised whet this was.
arrived at 6:15pm on Easter Sunday,
left a fish took pinkey the travel bug 517530.
 

What a beautiful location. Ive been driving in this area for years mostly exploring the area by 4WD. Yet this simple spot has eluded me.
We too Easter Sunday as an oportunity to take Hertz the Travel bug further on his journey and what better place that Melbournes first cache.
Was not an easy find but worth it. We arrived late in the day driving through the forest.
Took a Koala (wanted something small but the car was too big to fit) Left Hertz the Yellow Car (512843) 

Found it first thing today, Log was full so did not leave an entry, nothing left or taken.
Good hiding spot, exactly where I would hide it.

This is a nice spot in an unexpected rural part of Melbourne . Really under utilised, thought I'd cone back with the canoe and fishing rod to try the weir. 

Nice Cache in a pleasent park. Took the family for a Good Friday outing, and our first cache.
We had the co-ordinates wrong at first opps. and had a nice tour of the park. sat down on a rock after searching with no luck. Started to decrypt the message then looked down and there it was Doh!
Left a keyring and took the yellow car.
