Today we had a nice chilling afternoon at 4 mile beach. It was quite windy, so a lot of kite surfers were around, even a kite buggy. The cache was a nice walk down from 4mile beach park!

this is our northernmost point of the journey. Further up we can’t go, because winter is here and the RV can’t pass the road.....

This was a really great earthcache. I never had one with an experiment to do on site! Luckily, there was some vinegar on spot, and we found two nice pieces of coral we could experiment with

Today, after having a vet nice breakfast at the beach inkl. Yoga at the beach and a nice run along the shoreline, we also had a look at the Batholith.

Today, we did the Great Dreamtime walk through Mossmann Gorge with Roy (Dingo) himself - the founder of the place. Really great experience. Afterwards we discovered the Gorge - and the cache - by ourselves . Had no pen, hence image as Logproof.

Incredible. Cache is out 6m and only the 3rd to find. Nice climb, and a very interesting spider on the way down!

today magnetic island! We started in Horseshoe Bay, went to Radical And Florence Bay and afterwards up to the Forts (path closed, but a really nice walk! We saw two Koalas on our way down from the Forts, even a mother with baby!

wonderful day on magnetic island! Started with horseback riding, and whilst having lunch on the beach there was some time to grab a cache!

There is an art installation on the tree, that prevents the „mechanism“ to work properly. I was only able to get to the cache thanks to the two guys installing the art work (they had a ladder).

You should not try the cache until 5. August, after the Open air exhib ends!

Visiting Townsville, of course the Strand is the first thing to do! Do you know that „Strand“ is the german wird for „Beach“?

Anyway, nice stroll, the kids enjoyed the waterpark, we enjoyed Juliette’s ice cream and I even had the luck to ftf the „Hanging our at the Strand“ GC. Plus all the art being installed for the exhib!

The app crashed at the last stage, but fortunately, the auto save was working and I could sign the logbook.

BTW, at the Pier Stage the end of the sentence is missing....

Today, we came to Bowen from Prosepine. Lovely day, but the strong winds made snorkeling in Horseshoe Bay useless. So we went to the windshielded bay to the left, which was nice and quiet, without anybody around. With the cache close by, I decided to have a little walk and look for it. Unfortunately, I only had basis data downloaded to the phone, so basically the coords and nothing else. But, guess what, the coords are dead on spot and after answering myself the question „where would I hide a cache“ I did a little climbing and bam - there it was!

Such a nice hide, here’s a blue ribbon from my side!

This one was too smart for us - we didn’t get a grip on it! Rocks, tree, signpost? Nowhere we looked we had the „this must be it“ feeling. At the end we found a Little plastic bag usually used for logbooks (see image) between the rocks, but that may be a coincidence....

Huh, that was a tough one. Running through the bush I was thinking about all the wild and dangerous animals.... e.g. snakes....Despite all perils, I came in and out alright and even could grab the cache! Another confluence cache done.

As there are not many of those, a +1 from my side.

Today, we were at Barnacles to feed the dolphins (and ourselfs) - and on our way back to the RV was the cache... probably the best smelling cache I ever had! Unfortunately, I forgot my pen - once again - do please see the attached image as Logproof.

Today, Moreton Island was on the programme! We took the early ferry, which today was 6a.m. Instead of 7 am. Stand up @4:54, jetty at 5:30 and off we go. First we Started the hike south along the beach And Thema climbed up to the Desert. We just hiked to the fringe of it - too hot for the whole walk.... on our way back through the beautiful woods we discovered also the second cache today.

Today, we had the time to explore South Bank and the french fair was over (I was here last week), so I could enjoy the views of the city, the sign and the cache.

at the end of a wonderful stay on Lady Elliot Island I Managed to finish the Cache, too. What a wonderful experience, and how many creatures we have seen! Sea-Turtles, Sharks, Lots of other fish, and even some whales when flying in.

Today we had a nice stroll around Noosa Heads NP, our son showing us all the places where he surfed and saw Dolphins and sea snakes etc.

The hells gate is a very cool spot, thanks for showing us the place.
