Indeed a busy spot, but most are only interested in the theater. I could quickly grab the tiny legs and sit a bit further to do the administration. Then put it back without too much attention

With the coordinate and the note 1,5m I made in my gps, I was able to find. Unfortunately, the other tradi cache in the park was too difficult with so much drift, and not knowing where to look for.

This time I found the cache. Last year when I was in Brisbane I had no other information then just a coordinate, to hard with all that reflection bwtween the buildings

Had been here before, but then my gps directed me to the other side of the bridge. This time I had more, despite the drifting

It had been important to read rhe instruction to walk via the correct path. There is no way up when arriving via the street. I first took the wrong passage and ended up in the private parking. Second attempt was better. The cache, it's there but you do not expect it so obvious.

When I was about to start searching I heard sirens of the fire brigade. Then I noticed an alarm beeping in the Edison street. Searching didn't make sense anymore, so I left.

Black on black.no idea where it can be.and then I just see it. I take the container and walk away a bit to do the administration. Then a silly man passes, with one finger in his ear and loud talking he pretend to have a phone in hand. Hahaha.
I place the box back and went on fit the next one

Wingaap left and my luck seemed to vanished. I tried Gecko from various ways, but didn't want to climb the last 90 meter through the bush, so gave up that one. Then climbed the hill over the path after successful completion of Melvin's Rush (in the park), to come to the end coordinates of this cache. But nothing to be seen. I noticed that the vegetation had been walked over quite a bit. I am for sure not the only one that has spent some time here. To bad ... but there are more caches to find.

Part II

The place where I had dropped the car for the first cache was still good enough for this second cache, so left it where it was and noticed that I would have to do some climbing here. I reached the spot protected by a bear/wolf. I couldn't find anything else, so I left the place, heading for number three. This time I could follow a path towards the road. At the other side of the road I was supposed to find number three. But, arriving at the road, a car stopped which matched the description of Wingaap's car, and he was in Smile.

I got a little excuse why he was late, a completely valid reason. So we spoke about caching and if I had found the other one already. I told about this Bright eyes, but it didn't sound well. Together with a geocaching first aid for caches we went back. The CO wasn't happy, the cache had been demolished. This one requires big maintenance ... if it can be repaired. As the end location of this multi was still OK, I could log if

After some minutes the bad feeling went away and we could have some nice geo-talk again.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang reminded me to a movie that I watched as a kid, back home with my parents. David Niven if I'm well. He had a car that could do everything, including lifting the car up to see further. This cache is addicted to somebody having such a car, many tools on board, including a boat, whatever you may need for geocaching

When we were about to find the cache, we heard a person yelling to us. A fellow cacher. We talked, did the cache administration and walked back the the car. Then we noticed that this fellow cacher is also having a kind of chitty chitty bang bang car, including bike and boat!

At the other side of the street if found this little bird sitting. When the bird didn't pay attention to me anymore, I quickly grabbed the logbook, wrote my name and placed back the logbook. The bird didn't move a millimeter, which proves I had done it carefully enough.

Part I

Last year when I had been in Brisbane I just picked a place to do some geocaching outside the the city. I hate it to been that man that is walking suspicious around the same spot, no instead I prefer to be in the more quiet places. So I ended being on the Mount Nebo road, where I spotted several.
As all the caches that I did then were fun, I had written enthusiastically to the CO. Wingaap wrote me back to have a coffee, but the main reason for being here was of course work. Work did not allow me to go out again. The "too bad, that's the way it is" turned into "here comes a second chance" because I had to go to Brisbane again for work. So I contacted Wingaap to ask if the coffee offer was still on, and I received a yes in my mailbox. So the decision where to go caching this time was decided (but even without a response I would have gone here as the caches are really fun to do).

We agreed on trying to meet here at this cache, at 11:00. To avoid waiting we agreed on making a start caching, mentioning the car type would make sure that we would find each other.

Well talking about cars, that cache it about the maintenance to a car. Arriving at the cache location I observed that polish wouldn't help here anymore.

Part XI

As I wrote before I had difficulty t find the way that would bring me to Gecko. Just completed the Caching Bug, walked back to the car park and wondered if there would be a path here. There was! Walking the path for about 200 meter and noticed that it wouldn't bring me to the place where I wanted to be. Going back ...
Let's try the stairs ... maybe ... hmm, looks good. Walked the path and suddenly noticed that the big path I just walked from Caching Bug to car park is only 20 meters to the right. Why didn't I see that before (@#$%^ oops, sorry for that). Found the gecko, this time not in Garmin yellow, wrote the log and walked back, over the big path down to car park. Yes .... found it!

While we talked over the phone Saturday evening, Wingaap told me that I had to see this one. If you're a fan of Monty Python, it can be considered as a must visit cache. Hmm, let's take a look then. Switched on the laptop and googled for the Monthy Python fragment. Although I could imagine what would be the case, in geocaching you never know. It seems that Wingaap is more the type that just wants you to have a decent hike and no silly puzzling to get you puzzled.

We found the treasure and heading back to the car for the next cache, another puzzle.

From Gecko I drove to It' still a cache. This one is under high pressure, but still save enough to catch it. It required a walk, but what is wrong with that. Grabbed it, administration and ready for the next one

Not to much climbing for this one. At the back side of the three found a little animal looking over the forest to see if everything is well. The CO had to do some maintenance on this cache, a new plastic bag was placed to avoid the logbook from getting wet. And ... Kupidabin apparently had grey hair ?? The CO sprayed with some black paint to give a nice younger haircolor. Logged shortly after 12:00

It required a bit of searching but then we found it. A big needle 12". The cache housing is a big needle, with some trick you can open it to find the cache container.
We had a good laugh, made a picture and left for number four.

While doing a series of mr Wingaap I noticed another cache on my GPS. I didn't have any information about this one, so lets just taks a look and see if I can get it. Through the river ... lucky me, the river is dry. And then here 9 meters to the left. That is going to be a big climb, to experience when I'm up that I hae to go down again. Drifting GPS under the trees. It cannot be here, if the water would be high ... no ...
And then I just see the cache box. Done the administration and on my way for the next cache

Neil the gnome ... I had a TB Wouter Kabouter (Kabouter is Dutch for Gnome), it is somewhere in the world. Lats log is years ago, so I do not think it will go back in the circuit.

This gnome is nice, I knocked the door, and Neil opened. I asked him kindly if I could borrow the logbook. He gave it to me and after a tiny cup of gnome-tea, we said goodbye.

This cache gave me back my confidence, the cache can easily be found and it is nearby the path. Time to go back to the car ... or shall I give Gecko another try ...

For the previous cache HHOA I wrote already "a must for Monthy Phyton fans", this one is in the same category. For those that know the movie "Holy Grail" will recognize that some rabbits are not the gently petty animals. Here we didn't have to deal with the Iron Lady, but with the Iron Rabbit. Be warned!!

After completion of this cache we drove to the pick nick place in the forest, had some coffee!! Thanks and a Subway sandwich, thanks again. Wingaap, it has been a pleasure meeting you. After we split, I have done a few more that you can read in the following logs.

Part IV

After we had found Louise's 12 gauge, we walked back to the road where the car was parked. Instead of driving with two cars to all caches, I could drive with Wingaap. But not for this one. Wingaap told me to find this one myself, he would take the car to the other side of the hill where we would meet again.

I took the path uphill to go to the cache. Wingaap had told me that he is a kind of "lazy", caches should be easy accessible, so crossing the bush over 100 meter is not how the caches have been placed. But, without a topo map it is not always easy to find the "path to take".
To get to the cache location, I had to leave the path. I also noticed that the road is only 10 meter to the left, and then 10 meters down. Oops, but I managed. Wingaap didn't expect me to come over the road.

Part XVI

Arrived at the coordinates after an extreme steep path downwards. here and there a little bit of sliding, but not cache or something at the coords. Looking at the feedback from others (Brilliant! A favorite point, Another masterpiece, and many more). I may overlooked the cached as I had expected something in the style of the other finds.

After parking the car, time for trail. I noticed that most of the caches in the trail I made were not close to the path. This makes that special objects are not ruined by muggles. But I made a lot of meters through the wild.

All caches in the trail I made were WONDERFUL! They all get a favo!
After this trail through the hot weather, I could have used a shower .... He what a coincidence!

After parking the car I wondered how to get there. As I did not see a created path of a forme cacher, I decided to walk down and see. What it was looking for, that's the question. We had many of those, due to an "event" 70 years ago. So hiding this would not be allowed in Europe, but nevertheless, I loved it.

Peter from The Netherlands.

Especially this one, for a moment I thought I was meeting one of the Black solders. (Monthy Pyton - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjEcj8KpuJw)

Too bad, didn't know how to get there. I expected the was at least a path bringing me close, but I guess I would have to walk all the way through the bush to get to this place.

Peter

Not quite sure if I can log as a found. At the place where I had reached "zero" I found balloons in the the tree. Nothing else within a range of at least 20 meters, so I guess that should be it. But, there is no logbook, and that makes me doubt if it is ok.

TFTC,
Peter from The Netherlands.

Note:
After having contact with the maker of the cache it seemed that I have missed what I was supposed to find. Next time! ... although, it is a long trip to get there from The Netherlands!
