Decided we couldnt make Team - Route me Baby wait any longer for someone to log their cache, so after hearing all the stories from them on how hard it was to get to, Team Comms crew and Team Prado, comprising of two kids in thongs, a one legged bloke and two sort of fit adults scaled the rocks and logged the cache. It was still in good condition and the view was great.

(Note - this cache is quite difficult to get to so don't misread the humor in our log to a mate and heed the warnings!!)

Finally! I have been trying to get back to this cache for ages. With my folks over visiting we decided to get some crabs and the chance to get this last leg of the cache came up. I also had to beat some keen new cachers from work that have started up.

Didnt have our bag of tricks with us so we couldnt drop anything into the box. The cache is in good condition and the kids liked the calculator.

Been meaning to get this one for ages. Hunted it down on the way home from fishing. Nearly burnt my feet and had to go back to the boat to get my shoes.
Cache is all tucked away nicely.

First one for the New Year. Tracked this one down after a quiet one, kids were up early and dragged me round the tracks.

Left a TB and took a toy man (well the kids picked it)

13-Oct-04
Stopped for this one heading home from Monarto Zoo. Found it quickly and swapped a Spoon for the toy snake

Found this one heading home from Monarto Zoo. Swapped a 1961 Penny for the Parachute Man. Kids couldn't wait to test it from the rocks, so we had to have a few test throws

Attacked this cache from the top side first but changed our plans and backtracked to pick it up from the bottom side. Nice walk. Saw a big kangaroo but i must say the one we say up on the Kaiser lookout was bigger!!!. Took nothing as i had left my cache bag back in the car!!!!

01-Oct-04
Back in the valley for my sisters wedding and dropped in to log this cache. Knocked on the door but no one answered!!!

30-Sep-04
It was good finding this one as i used to spend most of my spare time up in these hills as a kid. Dropped off Geo-memphis travel bug into this one all. Took our next co-ordinate from this one to head off to the Kaiser lookout

Having grown up in the Barossa and spent most of my childhood climbing these hills, I loaded this one into my GPS and without travel notes procedded to find it. After actually climbing up the Kaiser i realised i needed to be on the other side of the valley so we proceded to Barossa High first and then around the track. Found the cache okay in the end and swapped a keyring for dog log magnet.

Found this one last for the day. Quick find and swapped a harry potter card for a toy dog

12-Aug-04
Last one for the night. Lights in Perth just coming into effect. Great views. Hid the cache a bit more as it was a bit exposed!! Swapped a Monster for a ball

This is a great place. Will be back here with Geokids

After work run around to find a few caches in this area had me starting with this one. Good one to find. Had to sort of hide when a few people went past but swapped a keyring for a pair of toy binoculars.

This one really needs a new Log book. If anyone tracks this down next drop one in!!

Sad Couldnt find this and like the last two geocachers, had to pretend I was waiting for someone. Need to try on a weekend next time i visit Perth.

Chased this one down without my notes. Bahh. To many people riding and walking home from work so I could only have a quick look. Have read the notes again and will be back to log this one!!!

Found this one in the rain so just wrote in the log. Had to go back after walking away as i realised i still had the pencil in my hand. It was probably this Perth cold weather that had frozen my hand. "what a weak excuse"!!!!!

10-Aug-04
Tracked this one down on cold morning. This weather is not like up North. Grabbed the TB and will take it up north when we go home. It looks like it needed warming up

Chased this one down on the way home from work. Had to discreetly find it with the afternoon walkers. Didnt have my logs so didnt know it was a keyring cache.

Swapped out the $50 keyring and put in a long lost baby turtle. Hope no one minds!!! That will be a good one to grab next time.

On our way to Perth for some work. Have loaded every cache form here to Perth in my GPS so her we go. Have always wanted to stop here and now have. I will upload some pictures later. Swapped a dinosaur for a toy car

Stopped off to log this one as well on our way to Perth. Geoboss sat in car while we scampered off to find it. Got some unusaul looks from the Grey nomads. Swapped a badge for a spoon.

Have been told i am not allowed to stop for any more today!!!

Hi all,

Thought i would start with this one this morning. I did know where I was looking but as per Lyn, Pat and Nathan ,the help co-ordinates are wrong. When i got to the first marker, the numbers are almost rubbed off. I didnt get to the cache just yet as the tides were all wrong and i am not getting stuck but I am going to get that travel bug!!!!

I was aiming to get back in the afternoon but got caught up with some of the other caches!!

I will check the co-ordinates at the 1st marker when i go back and fix them up if they are not done yet (if you have time Team Pathfinder)

We all enjoyed this one but after Team Pathfinders last cache. we drove to all the spots. It was good bouncing allong all the spots. My Garmin Map76 handled the format changes easily.

Found the cache on Sunset and swapped out a Badge for a Baby Turtle.

I was trying to get back to the Burrup to track down a few more caches but I ran out of time!!

Thought I would be smart and started on this one after lunch, but I should have done Longfellas one first, by the end of the day I had been to the highest point three times in the day.

The Comms Kiddettes did this one with me and walked all the way. They will sleep well tonight!!!

Swapped a Harry Trotter card for a Lego Man.

Decide to find this one first on our School Holiday outing. The kids found it quite easy to find. The small ones still have to jump the spinafex. Drove the 4wd almost to the spot and walked the rest. Swapped the butterfly keyring for one of Longfellas penny's.

We always wondered what the tip looked like from a distance.

[^] [We hadn't been here since before the Cyclone and was quite shocked at the force of the water. The bridge looks quite funny standing on its own. Quite funny as when we got to the position] we were actually standing on top of it.

[Damn, we missed the TB. We didnt swap anything this time]

Big GrinCool

Wow, i like these ones. Lots of 4wding, no walking for us. Kids just wanted to make sure we were not going to end up like the cars on the way. I assured then that that only happens to people that cant find the cache's. You can actually see one Team Pathfinders Evaporative views from here.

Swapped the Essendon Football card and a Tazo for two Hairy!! Potter cards.

Now for the downhill and home for Lunch. I intend to try and make a few caches like this when I plant my first one!!!

I like going to this spot. I have actually added the photo of the other memorial this time

19-Jul-04
WE technically didn't actually set foot on the island, as we didnt have a boat, and it was a 30 knot easterly. Next time i go out from Dampier i will get a better photo. I was also under the impression you were not allowed to land on that island???

I knew there were a couple of tracks that might get us close to this one. Of course i took the longest one so we had small walk up the beach to find it.

Swapped an elmo doll for the snake. we thought that it was appropriate given the last cache incident - see GCC1B3

Started off the day with some school holiday fun and took the kids hunting in the park. Nearly lost them on the third as we just didn't look in the right place!!!(You could say we didnt follow the signs)
Swapped a stamp pad for the compass.

Have driven past this spot hundreds of times and never stopped. Now we have!!

Whilst looking for this cache, one of the kids spotted a snake coming across the rocks at us. Dogs, kids and adults went flying, luckily all in the same direction, away from the snake.

Once we had calmed down I had to go back and find it myself. No other helpers wanted to on this one.

Swapped a toy man for the badge and a parrot pencil for the manicure set. Onwards to the next one

Kids found this Geocache completely by accident. We were enjoying a fabulous Karratha Sunset. Left a note and now im hooked on this site. So many to find!!!!!!!!!
