Friendly local was puzzled about what these visitors were doing .... funny.
Quite the challenge for us random cachers. Happy to find with MANY using track today - cruise ship in town.
14-Jan-15
We've been here before but thought it was a good place to drop a "trackable" to get it on it's way.
24-Jan-14
Beautiful Summer day to cruise around having fun. Left a Pathtag for someone to discover,

We came via dingy which got us muddy but persisted and found. Not many finds on this one so we're happy.

Sadly Mr was attacked by wasps in the grass near find so we had to lob it back instead of place. Hope the wasps move on soon.

30-Jan-11
Dropped off 3 trackables but made a mistake logging them so now I'll have to try and undo my error.
18-Jan-11
We're so disappointed. Came to Melbourne for the tennis and especially brought along some travel bugs that needed to progress on their missions but we could not find the container. Found the Grotto but the rocks and vegetation were just too camouflaging for us.
16-Jan-11
YEAH - our caching efforts on our short visit to Melbourne were not totally in vain! TFTC. The pic was a huge help, cheers.
We looked and looked, could have done with a hint. Very unlikely to be back to Melbourne any time soon so quite disappointing.

Love the camo, TFTC. Lewis made a swap for the fake vomit which I see was one of the original 'treasures'. He as shocked that it was still there waiting for him.
Persistance paid on this one. Had the dog with us and he couldn't climb as well as a goat so left him on the grass below, which backfired because we then had to give him a serious haircut to remove the 00000s of sticky grass seeds from his fur. It's so hot he doesn't mind looking like he's been attacked with the scissors - which he was!
09-Jan-11
Starting our Summer boating holiday from Tutukaka so this quick find was great. Cheers.
04-Jan-11
This is a real fun one, scary with traffic whizzing past but a satisfying find. Cheers!
Non geocaching friends wanted to show us the sites but we showed them!
Kids went off on their own to find this one and came home DNF. We attempted again the next morning with success! Good to know the parents are still the superior finders.
Took us a little while to hunt down but a great opportunity to educate the children on the importance of conservation. TFTC

Were visiting friends at Omaha and decided to introduce them to geocaching. They were very excited to know that there are "treasures" everywhere to discover - hooked already!
01-Jan-11
This one is driving us nuts. The dog just lies down for a rest now when we pass because he knows we'll be a while hunting for 'something'. Wish there was a HINT! hint, hint....
We thought on this beautiful sunny New Years Day we should head out for a walk from home and find some local caches. Thanks for an easy find.
Last time we tried to find this one it eluded us. FOUND it this time! So obvious now that we've been caching for a while. Picked up a couple of trackables to move on during our holidays.
It took a bit of time to finish but as this is our local park we thought it really MUST be done. Well constructed and a lot of fun, thanks.
Love the camo, fooled our 8yo. Watched a group Toff and were inspired to perhaps have a game ourselves tomorrow.
20-Dec-10
Quick stop after an easy family dinner at the local Italian.
23-Oct-10
Easy find. Thanks. We didn't have a pencil to sign the little book though.

We had some newbees with us who thought we were nuts but I suspect they'll now join the 0000s of us who love this hobby. TFTC Picked up coin and have brought over to NZ.
30-Aug-10
Great memories. I was able to tell the boy all about when I lived here in one of these cottages.
Easy find, thanks. Thought there was a travel bug there to find but it may have been trashed. Dropped our own new Paua Fish Hook to start its journery.
26-Jul-10
A quick easy find for our enthuiastic group. Found with the Homeschool Group. Dropped off our TBs from Canada, good luck.
27-Jun-10
What great fun. Took our Homeschool Group a wee while to nut out the code but then we were off and on a roll. The cache was empty of loot so we left plenty behind for the kids.
21-Jun-10
We looked and looked .... need to find some "cache goggles" to improve our vision. We'll try again with more helpers.
We must have been really blind today - didn't find this one either and we were so looking forward to checking out all the loot. Next Time!
20-Jun-10
What an adventure! Found it with our Homeschool Group. Excellent learning opportunity for our 8yo who wrote down the co-ordinates and did the maths (with the calculator). Thanks for the FUN!

We looked - and we looked. Signs of other lookers with vines on the ground. Will have to bring our expert Springford back to this one.
Couldn't find the park? Loads of construction so we'll try again when less activity around here.
To be honest we didn't get it on our first pass but here was a muggle in our way. We came back and found it. TFTC
