It was great to have another event at this cafe which is a wonderful place with congenial and very happy service good food and of course - with congenial company ! A lot of geo talk and talk of the up coming picnic event to Nana Island which i am really looking forward to . Thank you for organising this event after all your exams etc . 

a rather drippy experience today at G Z but it is really good to finally have this as a find ! it was after a hint from previous finder as my definition of s stump is some what different but once i had a little more clues , it was straight forward and a quick sign and it was good to get out from the drip area and back to the car . thank you for this multi cache on a day that required a multi . I took nothing and left nothing . 

Many thanks for this event at a new venue and it proved to be pretty good even if they did not have any French toast today Sad ! A good group of caches and al lot of geo talk went on . THank you for organising this event . Much appreciated  

Well I clambered over the Rick's down to Gz And found nothing and as rime was going I left it and clambered back up but on the way I saw a green something between some rocks about 5m away I reached down and retrieved it it was the lig so I decided to take it with me and contact owner .. and again as I clambered back I saw the white plastic bottom between rocks which I then retrieved . So cache needs maintenance .

Now i have gathered all necessary info i am finally logging this virtual cache in Launceston . photos and info to be sent . 

A great event held in park like grounds with lots of room for kids and the group . Every thing was just so well set up . A good number of cachers and so there was a lot of cache talk of problems , of finds , of trips etc and even some forward planning . Thank you for organising this event and for organising the weather as it was just perfect . Well done and many thanks M.

The sun was shining and it was nearly ideal to go for bike ride- the only negative being the wind - but i set off to locate the final of this multi as i had it ' solved ' previously and once i got to G Z the find was very easy being a regular size and then the next stage What i had to open the tresure chest was not going to work so i was baffled but then i realised that in actual fact i did not need the extra step and i was soon able to sign the log etc . I did notice that there was blackberry starting to grown up and around the cache ! Thank you for putting this cache together and for it being another regular in size  

I needed two visits to this site but i am sure i do not know why but at least this time i got yhe co ords again and the we went almost straight to it . This cache has been waiting for some time as i needed a multi cache starting with a Z and there are not many of these around ! this now completes the full Alphabet of multi caches starting with every letter of the alphabet so that is very good . Go to TOOLS IN CHECKER SYSTEM AND SCROLL UP to TYPES AND alpha numeric This is very interesting site to look at . 

A good catch up but i cant help thinking that a more accessible table (s) could be designated so we can get in the back side of the table . Good to catch up with cachers that had been to Dunedin and those that had not . all very good and thank you for organising this after event . 

After the ' after mega event ' a small group of us went out to put together the digits required to solve this Multi and then we went on to the final armed with the necessary tools of the trade to retrieve this cache - thanks for the lend of these T. It did not take long to free it and retrieve it , sign in it , and then replace it . thank you for this multi cache on a day that i needed one so all very good . 

After an event of reminiscing about The Dunedin mega a small group set off to go fishing and to locate another nearby cache locate and which this was . I was going to stop here on the way back from Wgtn a couple of weeks ago but the rain came down heavily so i left it and so this time proved very useful. I located the very well hidden little darling with out falling down the holes that are very very close to the object as one of our team did fall backwards - luckily into the soft grass so no harm was done . thank you for this clever hide . I took nothimg and left nothing . 

I spent the day in the inner city of Christchurch visiting a the few caches - mostly newer ones - and this was one . i did not realised there were 2 sculptures in the city about the sufferage movement and i had not visited this one before so i balanced my GPS on her knee and took the required photo . I rather liked this sculpture as it had a a feeling of warmth around it . Thank you for bringing me to this sculpture as in today's world , where young girls/women dont want to be identified as a female - which is so incongruous for what then the women worked so hard to achieve . indeed - First in the world ! Women to be recognised as Women ! What determined brave women we had then !

I have never been along this pier - living in the North island - so it was great to go there and even have a swim in the hot pools there ! WE watched a person doing a sand drawing next to the pier also which turned out really good - clever people ! It has quite a history and is certainly well worth visiting . Thank you for bringing me here and a chance to stroll along the pier ! 

All being g well I will be there . 

While in Chch for visiting relations and friends etc . i went into town to locate a few caches i did not have or had sprung up since my last visit and this was one and i knew where the sculptures were so i headed straight there after getting off the bus . A Watering hole a little different to the present connotation of what we say is a watering hole but an interesting bit of local history . I sat at the seats out side the cafe and woeked on the final co ords and soon had those in hand but it was a distance away so i was another visit into town , this time by car and a visit to the cache . It took a few moments to spy the cache and then sign it and replace it and then head back to the car .thank you for this cache . 

Today was our planned trip up to Port Chalmers locating some trads multis and of course the Albatross series cache which we had solved prior to coming down to the mega event here in Dunedin which was really great - thanks to all the team that worked so hard putting it all together - It was our second really rainy day and so we soon had very wet shoes etc anbut the rain coats etc kept the top half dry thankfully . We took nothing from these caches and left nothing . thank you to the cache owners and their maintenance of the caches . 

I am in Chch after being in Dunedin for the mega and we travelled over to Belfast to pick up a parcel and visited a couple of caches in the general area and this was one . It was a straight forward find and was soon signed , and replaced I took nothing and left nothing , All was well here . Thank you for this cache . 

I am in Chch after some time in Dunedin after the mega and as i had this one solved we had to go and visit it . We parked on the main raod and walked across and over the ex trafficc bridge and the cache was soon in hand . This was a a straight forward wherigo for me and very welcomed. all was well here and i took nothing and left nothing . thank you for this do- able cache . 

A very straight forward find here and there were no muggles any where in sight . I guess once it would have been a busy place when there was a station here and trains running Thank you for this cache I took nothing and left nothing . 

After being in Dunedin for a week with the Mega event i came up to Chch to stay at son's and visit a few more caches . I caught the bus into town and walked down to the cache from the bus depot . it is discreetly hidden and easy enough to sit down on the edge and retrieve the cache without any one noticing Thank you for this cache . I took nothing and left nothing . 

I was in Chch for a few days after going down to Dunedin for the mega and as i needed to pick up a parcel from belfast Post shop we visited a few caches in the area and this was onr of them . It was interesting standing here looking over th ground across the road and imaging the farm and stock etc over there . Ah1 Not the road side where we were looking over the farm ! so after fruitless searching we thought Ah Ha other side and soon it was in hand ,all was good with the cache here and i took nothing and left nothing . 

After being in Dunedin for the mega i went up to Chch for several days and made sure i visited the final lab site at the bathe house which i missed somehow last visit so now i was armed with the correct numbers for the bonus that was here. The hint made short work of the searching which was good as quite a few muggles were around at the time All was well here and i took nothing and left nothing .Thank you for this cache . 

Lucky i read the previous finders comment and then it was a quick find which was just as weel as 4 cars came out of their drive ways as soon as i parked my car in the Cul de sac and i had to wait for each to drive off down the road . I took nothing and left nothing . It was here that i think the log was soaking wet but having replaced others over the Dunedin event and / christchurch hunt i had used up all my secret stash of Write in the rain paper . sorry , 

While in chch for a few days after the mega event in Dunedin i caught a bus into town and spent a day in the inner city and then the next day used son's car and visited other cache not too far away . At first i was at the wrong concrete post but it was soon located , signed and replaced to its hide . Thank you for this cache and i took nothing and left nothing . 

I think i got confused here .. Not on same side as the cabbage tree - well there were NO stumps there! had no luck !

What a huge change since i was last there staying on The Runway with another son- they were the first to move into that new road some 15- 16 years ago i guess it was , Now there is a supermarket , a school , a movie theatre , a retirement village , multi housing , . Wow! Most of the caches were found except for two so the day was successful including the Labs there .This little corner could easily be the site of a CITO and you would fill many bags of trash as it seems it is used as a dumping ground but the cache was fine , I took nothing and left nothing . and remembered to check out the lab here also . 

I really enjoyed reading about the Convent and there work with the lesser fortunate females . Very worthy ! At ground Zero a young lass from canada was eating her lunch and i explained about the "treasure Hunt " and then located the cache under where she was sitting ! A very interesting story of a natural leader and you are correct - i had never heard of him - and yet he obviously saved a lot of Airmen . that you for this story of enlightenment ! I did not realise there was an Army base here and wondered why there were several army trucks around ! Nicely hidden cache . I came down to dunedin for the mega and i was lucky enough to have a fellow geocacher who had a sister in Dunedin which meant we had a place to stay which was marvellous and over the 6-7 days i visited so many caches that some have become a blur while others i remember well . We were lucky we had only a handful of DNF although i had not taken in to account the terrain of Dunedin and its many hills , gullies , streams and walk ways around these so that meant many of the caches i had planned to visit were not visited while others were. Unfortunately not all the albatross series - although solved - were some of the unvisited caches so they are there for another visit . when ever that maybe ! Thank you for this cache . 

The last cache of this trip down to Dunedin for the mega , before flying north to Chch for 6 days and visiting son and d in law . This was a straight forward find , sign and move on to the airport . A pleasing end to a very great weekend plus , of geocaching and meeting many other geo cachers / Great organization while the weather did not play ball but good rain coats and sturdy shoes , we coped with it all ! thank you for this final cache .
