Found again with NicJod Smile been a number of years since we last hunted for it

Had a good search with the kids but couldn’t find it. Area was mowed a few weeks ago

The coords wanted us in the middle of the road. Spent around 10 mins looking for this one, didn't want to go onto the property.

I wouldn't have considered this a micro, but clever hide Smile

TFTC TNLNSL

Am sure I found the right place, but a huge tree has fallen over and taken some other trees with it.
Has a good hunt around, but I think the tree may be covering the cache.

Found it second time around now that I know what a nano-cache is!

Had to grab quick in between the muggle appearances. Clever hide!

Clever hide in a nice park Smile

Accidentally dated logbook entry wrong though!

Awesome cache Very Happy

+ Kiwi Friend TB

TG for the clues! Was looking in the wrong tree when I realised I couldn't see the sky Razz
I did attempt to sign the logbook, but in the heat my pen had decided to die. So scratched onto the logbook is "8/3/10 nzgrobanite"
If the next person to find this could go over my scratchings, that would be awesome Smile

What an amazing tree! Wish I'd known about this before I developed my horrible fear of heights!
- hanging heart (I've seen these in quite a few caches, they are amazing!)
+ Travel Turtle Geocoin

On the 4th drive-by was finally able to get it... One silly muggle sitting in the same spot nearby for 3 hours!

06-Mar-10
Needs urgent camouflaging as it is extremely obvious. Have already seen and overheard muggles questioning what it is and why it has been left there. I am happy to do this as I am less than 40m from cache, but need owners approval.

Took me a while... then I figured out the clue Razz

Nice easy find.
+Scubido braid
+Planisphere GC (on behalf of chervils)
-Kiwi friend TB

Have moved back to "the first step" and covered it as it was very visible to muggles where it was.
[Nice easy cache, 50m from my front door! Met some lovely cachers there too Smile

08-Feb-10
Great find with Chervils, had a very inquisitive cat follow us Razz
- Australian Geocoin
+ Coastlands LED torch

07-Feb-10
TFTC easy find, nice to not have to hunt too much!

06-Feb-10
TFTC Had a few muggles about (some who looked like they might've been geocachers themselves!).
Cache was not where it was supposed to be - velcro backing seemed to have been affected by the heat. Have put back to where it should've been.
Left Hectors Dolphin Geocoin, dragonfly. Took variety badge.

TFTC cache very damp, logbook will need replacing soon. Perhaps put some of that damp-rid stuff in it? Did not take nor leave anything

05-Feb-10
Since going back a FOURTH time, I have finally found it. Had the right flax bush, but just couldn't find the cache.
Hint for others going for it: it is NW at base of flax bush, not SW as hint says

Took North Island Hector's Dolphin Geocoin, left a heart and a bunch of flowers Smile

[Nice wee hunt. Thanks Smile]
In a high-muggle zone though (cars+schools)

A hard find! Found the 'alien' but took me forever to find the cache! Coordinates about 10m off (W)

Beware: wear long trousers and long sleeved tops, otherwise you'll end up covered in scratches (like me!)

Took nothing, left 3 butterflies

Great find Smile Had to nab it quickly as could hear jr muggles approaching.

Be warned: lots of hidden prickles in grass so wear shoes and be careful where you sit!

Took nothing Smile

Couldn't find it first time around, coordinates would've taken me into private property.
After coming back and re-reading the hint (duh) I found it Smile

03-Feb-10
Not sure of date as I just realised I forgot to log it, but I know it was around the beginning of Feb.
Nice and quick cache, although my GPS kept trying to tell me to go to the picnic table!
