Back for a second go. This time with mystery ink who actually found the cache. My GPS was placing me about 20 to 25 feet from the cache location. Nice to meet you mystery ink. TFTC!
30-Aug-08
Have wanted to place a cache at this location myself (it's right in my neighbourhood). Looked for an hour this morning but with no luck. Got a good reading of 0 to 5 feet on my Garmin GPS60 but couldn't find the cache in the nearby area. Have to come back another day.
02-Aug-08
Found with the help of lochb. Had forgotten to collect all the coordinates from the other caches in the series! TFTC.
Found in the company of lochb. A nice walk but the wind was strong and cold. So strong, in fact, that it blew my cache notes out of my hand and into one of the many ponds along the way. Fortunately, lochb was able to fish them out before they floated out reach! A cache to remember. TFTC!
12-Jul-08
Took quite a while to find. Probably should have used my geo-intuition earlier in the search but there are a lot of hiding places here. TFTC!
Found with lochb. I tend to end up doing some things in a slightly more complicated way than necessary. This time the result was a steep climb through the undergrowth...TFTC!
Found with lochb after dark. No wonder the locals don't know about the park... it's tucked out of the way in suburbia. Took us a little while to find. My Garmin 60 placed us about 9 feet from the cache, which is roughly its regular level of accuracy. TFTC!
Loved reading the cache description. What are you doing with all the computers? Found the cache after dark with lochb. TFTC!
Myself and lochb couldn't find this one today... we thought there was a possibility that the cache had been washed away (?)
Had to be stealthy here... people to the left of us and to the right of us even very late in the afternoon. TFTC!
First visit to this cache for me but lochb had been a few times before. A nice lookout that appears to have been fully repaired after the vandalism. TFTC!
Didn't find this one. I climbed, reached, and manouvered myself at great risk of a soaking all to no avail...
Good hide. Found after dark with lochb. Some muggles pumping iron in the garage of one of the houses across the street but they weren't interested in us...TFTC!
Found with lochb. The dogs in the house next to the park didn't like us much at all. Very interesting hide. TFTC!
Found with lochb --- there was some hesitation about the bats on the way to the cache but we found it quickly with no interference from the bats. TFTC!
Lochb didn't have a lot of confidence that we would find this one quickly...but this day must have been our lucky day. TFTC!
Found with lochb after dark. Could have been almost anywhere but fortunately had the cache in a matter of minutes... TFTC!
10-Jul-08
Found with lochb. A very interesting spot. Fortunately, no one around on a early and cold weekday morning. TFTC!
Found in the company of lochb. Finding the place was a little bit difficult but once we were at the location we were able to add this one to our growing list of LEDGINs caches. Fun as always! TFTC!

*FTF* My first solo first to find --- Luckily I work in the neighbourhood. In fact, I have had lunch about 50 feet from the cache. Not really easy to find. GPSr confused by all the trees and couldn't get within about 25 feet. But, in business suit and all, I braved the terrain (and the bats! -- yes bats) and found it after about 30/40 minutes. TFTC!
14-Jun-08
Found with lochb --- luckily, still a little sunshine to keep us from getting really cold while filling in the log. TFTC.

14-May-08
Found on a lunchtime walk with an un-named cacher. Actually, the un-named cacher ultimately found the cache. This could be a good area to explore further, as there did appear to be some tracks heading off in interesting directions. Didn't see any wildlife, unfortunately. Left TB. Took nothing. TFTC.
10-May-08
Found this one (with lochb, who has logged a find before) on a dark and chilly Saturday night. Almost within view of a police speed-trap van... TFTC.
This one took quite a while to find. Couldn't get a good reading on the GPSr but eventually lochb found the cache. TFTC.
Found with lochb at dusk. Enjoyed the scenery for a few moments before heading off for a few more caches. A nice party was going on in a nearby bar, fortunately well out of sight of the cache. TFTC.
Found with lochb. Gathered all the pet rocks just before and after lunch before going after the main cache after dark. I think this was one of the most enjoyable caches in my short geocaching experience. Even got caught in a police spotlight --- sort of wish now we'd been stopped to see how I held up under questioning! TFTC.
Found it in the dark. A few muggles in the area too. However, we put on our best 'just-looking-for-something-we lost' impersonation and they were none the wiser...TFTC.
I probably wouldn't have found this one without lochb's previous experience searching for this cache. I was looking in the wrong place but benefited from the teamwork...TFTC.
This was my 50th cache find. Quite a thrill! Love this cache, although the location is very exposed...TFTC.
This would have been difficult during the afternoon. Fortunately, we arrived quite late in the evening with no one around. Found it after a few minutes of searching. TFTC.
05-May-08
This one caused me a little bit of trouble. Took me about 1 to 1.5 hours. Narrowed down the puzzle answers to about three possible sets of coordinates (depending on interpretation of questions)and, once I realised a boat and scuba gear was probably not necessary, managed to locate the cache. I had expected the possible presence of a travel bug in the cache but there is no travel bug in this cache at the moment. TFTC!
03-May-08
I said I'd be back...had to drive past a few times but finally decided to pick this one up on an early morning run. I feel alot less conspicuous in a jogging tracksuit than in business clothes! TFTC.
30-Apr-08
After some initial more-complicated-than-necessary mathematical reasoning the answer to the puzzle came in a flash. I still have sore fingers from reaching for the cache...but a nice one to grab on the way to work. TFTC!
Found this one no problem --- close enough to where I work for a flying lunch-time cache run . A few passing cars but during the mid-part of the day, no other troubles. TFTC!
29-Apr-08
Got a good reading from my GPS and, together with the hint, thought I could get this one easily. I was in a hurry and I couldn't find it...but I'll be back for a more careful look.
28-Apr-08
Logging a did not find on this one --- went to a similar (but wrong!) location on Monday afternoon. Fortunately, there were so many muggles driving past I didn't stay long. But after a little guidance (to keep looking!) from lochb, I now have the cache within reach. Providing everything goes smoothly, I intend to log a successful find tomorrow.
26-Apr-08
Went up the mountain with an as yet un-named geocacher. The climb was a little bit easier (in good weather at least) than I thought, and I was somewhat encouraged to see some groups of parents with 5 year olds making their way back down the slope (although they might not have been to the very top). We made the climb in about half-hour and found the cache quickly once at the top. Explored some of the lesser-traversed tracks at the far end (lots of spiders!) before heading back. A great way to spend the afternoon and the cache made it even more worthwhile. TFTC.
Looked everywhere but couldn't find this one today...Even with lochb's advice. Where could it be?
Found in the company of lochb (who logged a find on this one some time ago) on Saturday morning. Missed it on my first look but got it a few minutes later. TFTC.
