Morning stroll to the Lamp Posts, Garden, Art Center and a cache. Passed this on Wednesday when we went to the Chairs. There was a wedding procession in the street, so no muggles interested in a couple tourists. TFTC

Another not finder. Judging by previous photos a structure has been removed, this may need checking!
Looks like a plastic lolly bag, exactly where we expected it.
Found with Micah and Ester, Kiwi Cachers. New to caching; I may have sparked a passion.

Back to the Square is a perfect name for me. I first came to the square in January 1975 when I was with Deep Freeze. I have been back several times, but saw the cache, so stopped on my way to the “chairs”. TFTC

Out for an early morning tromp. Visiting from San Diego and this was my closest cache to Bealey Av lodge. Needed a TB visit. TFTC
Early morning walk to brekkie, then caching. Visiting from San Diego; easy walk from the lodge. TFTC
Attended and thankful to ivss-xx for loading local maps, but more importantly he cleared a filter that I had unknowingly set to prevent me from seeing my geocaches. Thanks for your help.

Out looking for a TB swap. No swaps here so we just visited. City Cares handyman stopped by to measure for the broken tread. I'll bet this park is busy during rugby season.
Looking for TB swap. Brought Racer TB from San Diego via So. Pacific islands. Picked up NZ TB.

Got the delayed log permission and likewise delayed logging.
I was just getting ready to go to work in San Diego when my wife said there was a plane crash in NY and then the news showed the video of the plane hitting a tower. I knew that was going to be trouble. By the time I did get to work at a US Navy base, we were at max threat con. The world wide response was amazing.
I hope us Yanks were as responsive to help following the earthquakes.
Thanks Firefighters.

Tot muggles arrived after the find. Swedish TB first kiwi cache. Thanks.

Cruised in on the Celebrity Century; after a fish&chips lunch and shopping at the rocks, it was time to cache. Off loaded my loyalty prior to the cruise, so nothing to contribute. My TB companion needed a Aussie visit as it is off to NZ this pm. Thanks for a cruise friendly cache.

Found during a visit from San Diego. Had a nice walk about the gardens and picked up a couple other caches as well. Always enjoy Queenstown and it was nice to visit the earth cache in the garden. Local lore and history make for interesting caches. Thanks.

Just a note to log the trackable at this cache as it travels to the USA.
Beautiful day in Queenstown, but cold! We didn't come to ski, we need more sunshine or we are going back to San Diego. Had a nice walk about the gardens. Thanks for the cache.
Visiting from San Diego and had an afternoon to tramp around the garden and lake and find some caches. I always enjoy the caches that make me learn about the history and people of an area. TSS Earnslaw was arriving while I was at the cache so I waited for the next sailing to get a picture. Thanks for the Earthcache in a beautiful spot.

Stopped enroute from Wanaka to Queenstown. I have gotten a 45 South cache on the East Coast a few years ago. Visiting from San Diego. TFTC.

Got out during a break in the showers. Should've gone with the WWFM crew yesterday, but it was an easy find today with no muggles on the golf course. Picked up the Tupperman coin to take to the USA.

Walked past this one twice going and coming from the Flash Mob event. After morning tea, returned for an easy find. I could really get used to this morning tea idea; great pastries at the Bridge Bakehouse. TFTC.
Beautiful wwfm site. Got some local caching tips but had to come back to get the cache on the pier.

Nice hide; no too difficut to extract even with the foot traffic. First of my Melbourne caches visiting from San Diego. Thanks.
Had to get an assist from the Info Center for this one. I was at the square about 10 past the hour and sat at the CCTV waiting for the live shot of the square. At half past the hour I went to ask the info center if there was a sched for the camera and they phoned the square management office who control the camera. The camera operator said the live camera was random but he was happy to turn it on for me and got me a good close up for the cache. School kids were passing thru the square and had a fun time posing for the camera. The info center was very helpful and they have a Fed Square Guide with the phone number to call. I also went to the Tai Chi class held on Tues morning at the Square.
Interesting spot, with plenty of muggle activity, but none at gz. Got me off the beaten path visiting Melbourne from San Diego. TFTC
Second of the Lane series today. Bit chilly in the concrete canyon this afternoon, but not much muggle activity. TFTC

Nice quiet spot when I arrived around 1530, but it quickly became a muggle hangout. First someone joined me at the next bench and began calling everyone he had on his call list. Then two cars parked facing the spot and got out and just stood there talking. After about half an hour I was able to secret the cache back into it's hidie hole. TFTC

Found while staying at a nearby motel. Kiwimum and I have just returned from a south island vacation, so it was interesting to find a kiwi cache when visiting D'land with our grandson. No problem finding the cache, but two vehicles came and parked at the cache site while I logged the cache nearby. Thanks.
Thanks for the second quick cache near D'land. There was plenty of parking at the cache, but I was just on a walk about.

Found this with kiwimum while visiting from San Diego. A bit drizzly in the bush this mornining but still a nice little hike. Found with no trouble; good coverage at the cache site. Left geocoin.

Found with kiwimum, visiting from San Diego. Had to stop for this; I have been to both ends, South Pole in '74-'77 and across the equator, first in '84 and at least a dozen times since. Thanks for the intermediate site cache.
Found with kiwimum while visiting from San Diego. Returning to Christchurch from a trip to Milford Sound, Bluff for fresh oysters and drive thru the Catlins on the scenic route.
Thanks for the earth cache and some interesting facts of NZ. The wife says the harbor needed dredging frequently; the cache explains why.

Found with kiwimum, visiting from San Diego, after a Milford Sound cruise. Lots of waterfalls with the over night rain. A few muggles at the hut, but they seemed unconcerned that we were out in the rain climbing on the rocks. Left Ca quarter cache card. TFTC
