Rain, cold and strong winds is a good way to keep the muggles away. Had as much time as we liked to have a really good look around to find cache. TFTC

Couldn't work out Z but our Best guess for Z gave us a spot 30m from where we did find waypoint 2 (surprised and pleased). The rest went smoothly apart from trees getting in the way of satellites. TFTC

Had to get help from GIHB2000 as I couldn't see it myself. TFTC
We ride the train here most times we visit Taupo and been in this spot many times. Yes we rode around 6 times today.... With kdall and gihb2000

Lots of traffic and dog was too excited, but spotted quickly. Lots of memories of abseiling school groups off bridge back in the day when you were allowed to. Scary bridge for many of them too. TFTC
Would have been 8th cache for the day but getting tired and need an excuse to come back to the Otaki gorge again soon, so not at all sad at not finding it. Nice day with lots and lots of muggles about. Hard to find a park for the car in the car park. Will go further up the gorge next time.
Quick find. Must have a crack at abseiling off waterfall some day. TFTC
Could see people around GZ while at Shields Flat. I don't think they were muggles but nothing in log when we finally found it. Good size but tradables not appealing as previously wet. Left a few new tradables. TFTC

Had trouble counting at first.
Too many Elephants and Lions getting in the way to see all the seats. Quick find by GIHB2000 when using correct co-ordinates. TFTC

Well done, excellent event. Still plenty of the new caches to find, sometime soon. Weather held off for a really pleasant day with GIHB2000.

GPS had trouble under the trees. But just before giving up we spotted it. -marble +LPS toy. TFTC

Took ferry across harbour. Must stop and visit Matiu Island (Somes) next time. Left rock climbing TB.

GPS had trouble with the trees. Saw a likely spot but GPS said 40m E. But that didn't work. Came back and got better reception and 40m became 5m without moving. Good hide. nice spot.Some muggles about.

Pleased at how many mountains I knew (or guessed), only had to use google and wikipedia on a few.
I don't think I had ever been up that road before, great to explore new places.
