It is our last day in Australia before going back home. We have been here for a little more than 5 weeks. So, it is not so bad to go home, after all! We did not want to miss the Blue Mountains and we enjoyed the visit and the discovery.

We sent our answers to danieloliveira. Thank you so much for the earthcache, from Quebec, Canada!

We went at the event this afternoon. Met 2 friendly geocachers that were also visiting Sydney. Left 3 geocoins in the hand of Chyna82 and left with some TB that will travel back to Canada. Thanks Chyna82 for organizing this event!

The day did not start well, for many reasons, including the wheather, but finally it turned to be another excellent day in Australia! We walked to the opera and then in the botanical garden. Magnificient! We ended up here, watching those big warships. We found the cache after a little bit of searching. TFTC, from Quebec, Canada!

Afternoon on Cockatoo Island. The wheather is very nice and we are having fun. We rented the audioguide. It was supposed to be 1,5 hours but it ended up being probably around 2,5 hours. A lot of information to discover the place!

Could not resist doing this cache! What a clever cache! It is a favorite for us. Took the 2 TBs that were in it to bring them home. TFTC from Quebec, Canada!

Today, we walked to the opera and then to the botanical garden. We stopped at the Mrs Macquaries's Chair. There were so much people, all wanting a picture of themselves on the bench. We waited for our turn to come and then went to admire the opera and the bridge. We were trying to imagine Mrs Macquaries, a long time ago, alone on its bench...

First day in Sydney. Had to come to Circular Quay first. Good idea for a geocache. We picked Douglas Stewart, because of 'Ned Kelly' which we did not know before coming to Australia. Now, we know him, what he did, saw the armor, read the story! TFTC, from Quebec, Canada!

After a day at the War Memorial, we wanted to see if there were kangaroos on the mountain so we went for a walk. And yes, we saw kangaroos! Also found the cache! TFTC from Quebec, Canada!

We visited the war memorial yesterday and tried to find this cache, without success. With the help of the owner, today we found it! It was a very interesting cache to do, learning about the pieces of art that are displayed on this ground. Today, 3 kangaroos plus a baby in the pouch greated us when we went back. It is certainly the only Christmas in our life that we will have seen kangaroos as we are from Quebec, Canada. We give this cache a favorite and thanks the owner for the cache and the help!

I think we parked at the right spot as it was an easy walk for us. We stopped here on our way to see the rock paintings in the area. Along the road, we stopped and bought olive oil nearby. What a discovery to see that there are olive trees around here! In the parking, we saw for the first time 3 gang-gang cockatoos. They are so beautiful! The walk was a very nice one to the cache and everything was in order with the cache. We found a pen on our way up: we are sure a geocacher lost it there. Who else would carry a pen there!!! TFTC!

Jaws of Death is a beautiful place, not to be missed!

First day in Grampians. We choosed to go where tourists seem not to go often as we are almost alone. We were app. 1 km past the cache when I looked at my GPS and saw it, so we turned away. Did a nice walk to the top of the castle and found the cache on our way up. Left a TB that has the mission to come back home in Quebec, Canada. TFTC!

What a great place! When we arrived, the wheather was not very good and we did not really see the 12 Apostles. But, as the time went on, it got clearer and we had great picture opportunities. A lot of people were with us and a lot of flies too!

Answer was sent to the owner when we got home.

TFTC, to which we give a favorite, from Quebec, Canada

Between the Twelve Apostles and Warrnembool, we stopped at every places that seemed interesting. This one was not to be missed! It should have been very frightening to be on the London Bridge when half of it felt in 1990!

Answers were sent to tronador when we got back home.

Thanks a lot tronador for this earthcache, from Quebec, Canada!
