After spending a long time in the Maori Exhibition of the Te Papa National Museum I finally went to explore the little earthquake section outside which was very interesting to read too. I certainly would have missed it without this cache so thanks a lot!

Unfortunately it was very cloudy up there but still the view is great. It must be stunning on a cloudless, sunny day.
Coming from the South Island, starting in Christchurch I am now taking the ferry from Picton to Wellington, slowly making my way up to Auckland for the return flight.
Arrived by ferry yesterday in order to start traveling the North Island. Nice harbour but rather small compared to others I have seen.

Spend the day hiking in beautiful Abel Tasman National Park and managed to jog up the hill and be back shortly before depature time

The sea never taught you respect? Then this is the place where it will. I was very impressed with it rather than with the formation of the rocks. Definitely worth a cache!

Never thought I would be able to complete a Multi in New Zealand as they usually take too long. This one was quite interesting to read and well hidden too. Signed the logbook early in the morning undisturbed. Thank you
I recommend to do the full walk around Lake Matheson and not only to go to the first lookout. I didn't primarily come to New Zealand to do caching but to enjoy nature. That is definitely the place for it. And it's worth an earthcache too
Shocking to see how far the glacier withdrew. In a decade it might have vanished. It deserves a cache.

This place clearly deserves a cache! Beautiful! Nice logbook and well protected too.
I was shocked to read what was written on the bronze plaque to be honest. It is definitely worth attention.
Like many other tourists I came here to see the beauty of the Fiordlands.

Can't believe I finally I made it from the other side of the earth to one of the places from the movie
Stayed here over night in order to visit Milford Sound. Very nice town.
What a beautiful place! Shame that the lighthouses are no longer inhabited and only operated electronicly.
What a view! The ocean always has something magic about it. Nice hiding spot too.
Very scenic spot. It's definitely worth stopping over here and enjoy the view. The tunnel is quite fun.
