Logs for Graham51
18-Jul-24
I only found this track when I was looking at the geocaching maps. Today I walked to Grahams Road and back at a brisk pace so I didnt take time to find any other caches. Another day. I did, however, find this one. Thanks for the cache and for showing me another part of the Tangara Trail.
02-Mar-24
We were out for a family walk and grabbed this along the way. Always had trouble with these lids. TFTC.
We went along the track to see what the waves were doing. Not a lot today, tomorrow should be better. Grabbed the cache on the way back.
We walked over to see what the waves were doing. It will be better tomorrow apparently. Grabbed the cache on the way back.
20-Feb-24
We did a circuit walk on and off track and on our return leg we found a few caches. This was the third. Unfortunately the log was saturated so it was impossible to write anything. I'm hoping to come back this way soon and will replace the log if I remember to. TFTC
We did a circuit walk on and off track and on our return leg we dropped off the track to check out the old hut location and the old chimney. I located the cache but as none of us had a pen or pencil, and there wasn't one in the container, I couldn't write in the log book. Maybe next time. TFTC.
We did a circuit walk on and off track and on our return leg we found a few caches. This was our fourth. After a bit of a search and referring to the picture clue we found the cach. Unfortunately there was no pen in the container or our possession so I could not write in the log book. Maybe next time. TFTC.
We did a circuit walk on and off track and on our return leg we found a few caches. This was the second. TFTC.
19-Jan-24
We completed the South West Cape circuit from Saturday to Friday and spent some of the afternoon looking for the two caches here I hadn't found before. I punched the coordinates into the GPS and soon realised I'd already passed the hide on our way into Melaleuca. We quickly retraced our steps, grabbed the container and logged the find. TFTC.
We completed the South West Cape circuit from Saturday to Friday and spent some of the afternoon looking for the two caches here I hadn't found before. I sat down to punch the coordinates into the GPS and soon realised I was virtually sitting on it. I had a look, located the container and logged my find. TFTC.
16-Dec-23
We set out to climb Mt Field West but by the time we got to the Tarn Shelf turn off there was strong wind, rain, snow and hail. The Rodway Range was clagged in so we decided to do the Tarn Shelf Circuit instead. First stop was the skiers' shelter hut where five ladies, who had intended to go to Lake Rhona, had spent the night. We continued on, stopping for morning tea at Newdegate Hut then on to Twilight Tarn. Two more ladies, also refugees from abandoned Lake Rhona trips, soon arrived. After lunch we continued past Lake Webster in constantly changing weather conditions - sun, rain, hail, snow - and returned to the car.
10-Dec-23
We walked over from Lime Bay, checked out the cache and visited the possum family in the nearby tree stump. The dunes are advancing, the hiding place is collapsing but still usable. Four or five people have recorded their visit in the log book but not on the website.
We walked over to Lagoon Bay and checked on my cache there then had lunch under the cliffs at the southern end of the beach. We walked back across the lagoon which had no water and no swans. TFTC.
06-Nov-23
We drove up to this lookout and found the cache before doing the walk up to Three Thumbs lookout. Great views from both locations.
05-Nov-23
After walking to Stapleton Beach this morning we took a more casual approach this afternoon - Old Convict Road and Raspins Beach. Found the cache along the way. Thanks.
04-Nov-23
After walking to Stapleton Beach this morning we took a more leisurely walk along to here this afternoon. Ive known about this road for a long time but this is my first walk along the Convict Road.
We walked around from Orford and extended up onto the cliffs and grabbed this. Thanks.
20-Sep-23
We circumnavigated Mt Augustus from home. The whole route is beautiful but particularly this section past the cow paddocks. Paused at the corner and found the cache. Thank you.
16-Sep-23
About a month ago I came with my granddaughter but put all our focus on what seemed the nearby obvious place for a hide. Later in the evening I thought about it and found it not long after. Today I brought a pen to write in the log although there is a pencil. On that first search we walked on and had a picnic near the old jetty.
Im not sure I approached from the best direction, following animal pads through the tea tree, but I got there.
08-Sep-23
After the steep climb from Seven Mile Beach to the top of Single Hill it was a pleasure to ramble down to the cache. Glorious day.
Second time lucky after a walk over and around Single Hill. Spotted it straight away.

17-Jul-23
I went for a walk along the beach on a glorious winters day with my granddaughter. This was our second cache today.
02-Jun-23
I was taking Buddy for a walk on this beautiful day and stopped off to grab the cache. Thanks.
22-Mar-23
Luckily I found this on my previous visit four years ago because my memory was vague about the location and my GPS was without batteries. However, I know I passed within a metre or so of the cache.
21-Mar-23
I passed this one four years ago when the weather was too miserable to spend time looking. This time I tried to turn on the GPS at Lake Oberon but the batteries were flat. Luckily I remembered where I needed to look and had brought the photo clues with me. This meant I was able to make a quick find soon after exiting the hole, in perfect weather conditions.
06-Mar-23
After the last log I went to check on the cache. Unfortunately there are works going on and the hiding place has been removed so I will archive the cache.
28-Nov-22
I visited the cache today and found it sitting on the ground near GZ. I re-his it on the dead tree under a slab of wood.
27-Nov-22
Took the opportunity to visit here again. Always fascinating. Found the cache. Thanks.
07-Oct-22
We walked up to The Springs then to Octopus Tree via Sphinx Rock. My grand-daughter found the cache.
02-Oct-22
I didn’t find it to start with but after thinking about it on our walk I guessed where it was.
Found it with my grand-daughter. She found it. Only a few scraps of paper to write on - need some new ones.
27-Sep-22
I spent the weekend camped at Bradys Lake and found this not long before the water was shut off. I caught a fish in the canal the next morning.
15-Sep-22
I stopped on my walk to look and followed the clue but couldn’t find it. Is it possible it’s been washed out after some of the heavy rain we had last month?

18-Aug-22
We did the circuit over Mt Fortescue and out to Cape Hauy. This cache was on our 20th kilometre. I have been on this track many times and guessed it might be on the nearby stone bridge, but no. I located the container quickly. Thank you.
We walked the circuit from Fortescue Bay to Mt Fortescue and then out to Cape Hauy. We had perfect weather and spectacular views, as expected. Grabbed the cache on our return leg. Thank you.
15-Aug-22
I was having a walk in the misty rain and stopped off at this familiar place to grab the cache. Thank you.
I was out for a walk in the rain and stopped off to grab this. Didn’t have time for the others in the area this time.
25-Jul-22
We walked up Breakneck Track and then to Larkins Lair before joining Hunters Track just about where the cache is. Peter of “Sue and Peter” was with me but happily I found it before him.
07-Jul-22
This was an easy find after I’d jogged laps of the oval. I think I’ve found a similar one in this area some time ago.
02-Jun-22
It's been a year since someone has looked for this and it seems it's not there any more. I think it's run its course so I will archive it.
20-May-22
I’ve been staying in Kew this week and walked a lot on these tracks. Grabbed this while exercising the dog.
14-Apr-22
Found at 11:48. No geeen rosellas here but I did see two at home yesterday which is unusual. We usually get the colourful eastern rosellas.
