We're on a road trip across Western Australia, and are currently camping in Kalbarri.

This morning we visited Kalbarri National Park, in the afternoon I decided to go geocaching and explore the town. Although the information has gone missing at a few waypoints, I was able to find the necessary data online, so after a lovely walk I was able to sign the logbook. I especially loved the views at Zuytdorp Memorial. TFTC!

On our way back home from a one-month holiday to Australia we had a long stopover in Hong Kong, so we had time for some sightseeing - and for some geocaching too Wink.

A month ago we visited Stanley Market and Victoria Peak. Today we visited the Tian Tan Buddha and Hong Kong Disneyland. We took the cable car to the Buddha. We had a "Crystal Cabin", which was a bit more expensive but also more private, and we really enjoyed the amazing views. The Buddha itself was very impressive.

We had to wait a few minutes for the gardener to finish working, but then it was a quick and easy find. TFTC!

We were in Australia on a one-month holiday. After a stopover in Hong Kong, we started our trip in Cairns. We went scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef and got our SSI Open Water Diver certification. Our next stop was Port Douglas, from where we visited the Daintree Rainforest and went Jungle Surfing. After this we travelled to the Red Centre, and visited Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs. From there we went south to Adelaide and visited the Barossa Valley and Kangaroo Island. Next destination: Melbourne. We made a road trip along the Great Ocean Road to get there. From Melbourne we flew to Sydney, where we explored the city and climbed the Harbour Bridge. Our last destination in Australia was the Blue Mountains region, where we stayed in Katoomba for a few days.

Today was our last day in Australia. After a few rainy days, the weather today was quite good, so we went for a bit of hiking. We walked down the Furber Steps to Scenic World and took the Scenic Railway back up. We really enjoyed the views, the waterfalls, the wildlife (lots of Suplhur-Crested Cockatoos Cool!) and the history of the old Katoomba Coal Mine. We found this cache on the way back. TFTC!

Back in Katoomba the weather wasn't foggy and rainy like yesterday, so we decided to visit the Three Sisters. First we went to the lookout at Echo Point. Too bad the sun wasn't shining, but still a magnificent view! Then we went to the Giant Stairway, and walked down to the first Sister. On our way we encountered a female lyrebird Cool.

Today we took the ferry to Manly (and back) and enjoyed the lovely boat tour across the Sydney Harbour. When we got back we did this virtual cache. There are many writers on the Sydney Writers' Walk, whose books I've loved to read, but in the end I picked Arthur Conan Doyle. His Sherlock Holmes stories are simply amazing, as well as "The Lost World". TFTC!
