An easy find this morning, the park was full of people yesterday for Australia Day celebrations, and the cache isn't hard to notice, but it hasn't been interfered with.

We Haven't had a chance to stop and look for the cache, but we drove past this morning and the Museum does appear to be open again. 

A nice bit of a walk, found the cache after a picnic lunch.
The contents of the cache are wet, the log book is still usable.
We should have found it before lunch - we could have left it drying out while we ate.
No such luck tho, so it does need a bit of tlc.

This was a bit sad - this used to be a nice spot for a picnic. The last time we stopped here, only about 18 months ago the area was fairly well looked after.
Now the top of the steps have been blocked off and the picnic area is badly overgrown.
The local council appears to have lost interest.....

Nice peaceful spot for a bushwalk, I've lived in Toowoomba for fortyish years, gone bushwalking all over the place, but never in Redwood Park. Must go back for a better look. Nice Spot.

The tin is in very poor condition and the contents are all damaged, log book is still usable tho

Visited yesterday but there were far too many people about, an early start this morning saw us the only people there.

This little picnic spot is becoming a bit overgrown in places but it is a nice walk.
Great hiding spot.

Parked at the Cairn, an easy find.
While we were filling out the log, the light mist that had been hanging around turned into very heavy sudden rain - of course we'd left the car windows open.
Put the cache back, ran to the car soaking wet, jumped in, wound up the windows, and the rain stopped just as suddenly as it had started.......

Found it eventually. GPS accuracy was a problem, and we looked in every likely spot bar the right one. Eventualy looked up from the gps and the end of the box was right in front of me.

Radio Ga Ga will have to wait for another day.

Took rabbit, left superball. 

Found it easily enough - some moisture has made its way into the cache, but no damage done. Its the sort of spot you would never look twice at while driving past.

No luck, the area at the base of the fallen tree had been dug out and bark spread everywhere - guess that used to be the spot. 

Found it today, our first cache !!
Nice drive to a nice spot. Late afternoon had us spotting scrub turkeys and other wildlife.
