What a miserable, crazy today in the mountains. These weather conditions with 85 km/h were just disgusting. No fun while walking at all. TFTC anyway. 

Emerald Lakes - what a great place to be and taking pictures. Crazy to think that we walked past this point yesterday without even seeing the lakes. TFTC. 

Luckily the weather got better today so I could continue the Northern Circuit and easily find this cache. 

Great view into the crater today on a sunny day. Yesterday we were lucky to see the next pole. I encourage everyone to do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, if the weather is good. You'll enjoy great views over this fantastic and unique volcanic scenery nowhere seen in New Zealand like this. Be prepared for fast weather changes. It's worth to consider not to do the crossing in really bad weather as you can see nothing! Rather wait one day enjoy it in beatiful weather.

What a great cache! What a great place! Love the emerald lakes in good weather conditions! 

I tried to find this one when it was getting dark. I searched a big area, in every bush but I couldn't find it. 

Really nice alpine area and it was hard climb up Mt Doom, but the views are worth it. TFTC (sorry for the blurry picture). 

I tried to find this cache 2 times. The first attempt was not successful because of arriving muggles. In the 2nd attempt I had help from 3 other geocachers but we couldn't find the cache if it's still there somewhere.... 

Completed the tasks on my way doom from Mt Doom. Liked climbing the mountain on a sunny day. And loved to have some caches along the way. TFTC.

I found the cache easily but it was soaked with water. So I took it to my van to dry out and I put a new piece of paper as log book. Placed it nice and dry at the correct place. TFTC and the views.
