If only the GPS had been used to hide that many caches instead of what he used it for! Thanks for my last cache of 2005! Nice certificate too. Kachekat and I will make them locationless memories

This building is located in Altoona, PA. It is located in the historic district which is actually part of the National Historic Registry. There are several items of interest in this area for cachers and this is one of them. Altoona was, and still is, a big railroad town so I thought this photo was fitting. I'm shaking hands with a woman and her child who has just seeing her husband off on a train in town before walking down the road.
I visited the POW Memorial Wall in Altoona, PA. While there, I learned about George W. Alexander.
George Wood Alexander was from Los Angeles, California. He was born January 10, 1923. He was an LCDR in the Navy before he died on February 17, 1960 in South Vietnam due to a crash landing in hostile territory. He was only 37 years young leaving a widow behind.

We looked up Doughboys on the internet and found 2 in the town we were going to. They gave the address to them and everything!!! What an easy find! This one is located in front of Stevens Mortuary on 8th Avenue in Altoona, PA.

This Carnegie Library is located on Congress St. in Bradford, PA. It is not longer a library as it has been converted to a restaurant which is now called Beefeaters. It still has many of the old pictures and books on the inside from when it used be the library which makes it a unique place to dine.

This weathervane is located on Rt. 219 in the town of Otto, NY. I feel it is unique as I've never seen a red fox as a weather vane before - or as any other type of house or lawn ornament for that matter! I really didn't expect to see it on a roof. I stopped to take a locationless picture the neighbor's house which was an octagon shaped house, and my caching partner looked over, and there was this weathervane!

I love the Buffalo Sabres Hockey team! Got this cache when going to a game last night. I didn't know if you wanted a picture from inside or outside of the arena so I got one on the inside with Sabretooth! He took my GPS and looked at it, pointed too it as if to say, "What is this?" Or maybe he knows? Hmmm...Imagine running into him in the woods! He's in the orange which is perfect for this time of year! Anyway, here are your inside the arena shots!

Caching in Wheeling, WV and remembered your locactionless cache when driving by this on Rt. 40! Couldn't believe it was a working windmill! Not sure of the name, started with an L, but couldn't pronounce it. Very cool Thanks

This artesian well is located off State Route 417, east of Bolivar, NY. The well sits on private property owned first by the Hearne family and currently by the Kinnicutt family. The endless stream of water has been a problem at times by flooding basements, creating ice and slick conditions. Permission was granted to log this cache.
On my way back to the office and snagged this one. Didn't think I'd get it in time before it went by as my camera got stuck in my pocket! Anyway, this P & S out of Rochester was found in Bradford, PA.
Klondike Rocks is a great unknown area in McKean County, PA. It is in Marshburg, just outside of Bradford. A cache was placed here in one of the caves and remembered that you wanted pictures of caves too! I've also included a photo of me finding a Jeep TB in Dead Man's Cave cache. See the eerie creature behind me?

Found this site on the way back from NJ near Emporium, PA, in Elk, CO. It was built by the CCC and said it was a Wayside Memorial built and dedicated in 1939 in recognition of the supreme sacrifice while protecting the natural resources of Pennsylvania. It is a small waterfall built at the side of the road. There is also a picnic area there too.
We had to stop for this tank! I have seen some before, knowing that your site existed, but I haven't seen one like this before. I wanted to wait for a special one and I felt this one was it. I don't know what kind it is as I wanted to ask, however, the building it stood in front of was closed when Kachekat and I went to check for more information about it. It's located in Watchung, NJ. Tanks

Bogert's Covered Bridge was built in 1841. Peter Bogert, who came from Germany, built Hunter's Cabin nearby and his decendents built the bridge. It is a Burr-Truss structure, typical in PA.

This lighthouse is called Lucy's Lighthouse. It is located in a park dedicated to the First Lady of Comedy, Lucille Ball. It is on Chautauqua Lake in Celeron, NY.

Happened to be out caching today and noticed this old pedestrian suspension bridge under construction. Lucky find on a rainy day. Didn't have as much luck caching though on the cache I was heading to! It is located on River Road in Starbrick, PA.
Washington Park - The favorite make-out spot that all teenagers knew about in the Warren, PA area. Unfortunately, some fell in love and went a little over board, well, over...bank. Rumor has it, that many took the plunge from this point, driving their vehicles to the point of no return.

Everyone has heard the click of a Zippo, especially those of us here in Bradford, PA. We've also seen this brightly colored sign intermittently flashing every evening as we drive down Main St. It is located on the building on Barbour St. which is where the Administrive offices are. The building is all black and has a reflective look to it. If you ever get to the area, you can't miss it - the street lights are actually Zippo lighters! Though you may not want to visit the Administrative offices, the museum is a great place to visit if you've ever in town! Zippo lighters have been around for over 60 years - as the sign is to look.
Bridal Falls is located in Cattaraugus County in Allegany State Park, NY. It is a beautiful waterfall that is unknown by many as the park does not post signs to it. There is one marker by the side of the road showing "Program Site 62" and you can see a faint glimpse of where people have made a trail. At the end of the short hike, only approximately 500', you come to the falls which is about 75' in height. Unfortunately today, it was only a trickle.
This Huge Zippo Lighter could light an extra large cigar - if someone has logged that! It is located on the Administrative Building for Zippo on Barbour St. in Bradford, PA. It apprears to be made of fiberglass and to be approximately the size of VW Bug!
Found Bennett St. near my home in Bradford, PA. There is also a Bennett Brook down the street - can I log that too?! It's one of the short-cut streets people use to get around all of the High School and Hospital traffic!!!

This is the line between NY & PA on Olean Road going from Bradford,PA to Olean, NY.

This one room school house is located at Crook Farm on Seward Avenue in Bradford, PA. It was orginally in use around 1840 and was listed in the National Regeistry of Historical Places in the late 1970's. Crook Farm currently has a bank which is a reconstruction, the original farm house, several barns and barn like structures, most of which are the originals, an oil pump from when they struck oil at the site, and a chicken coop which is still operating. While speaking with a woman this afternoon, she told us that the chickens there were bred special as they tried to get them as close as possible to the type of chickens that were at the farm originally back in the 1840's! It is a very special area and is open to the public. Tours are given for groups or invidividuals and a fair is held in the summer so stop if you're ever in the area.
This house is located on Congress St. in Bradford, PA. It is currently owned by the Signor's, who as you can see, deocrate nicely for the holidays. If you ever get to this area, check out this street as there are several Painted Ladies lining this street.
Hanley Skate Park is located on Davis St. in Bradford, PA. We tried to get some shots of them in the back ground doing some tricks, but they seemed a bit unsure of us taking pics with this strange thing in my hand!
