Diligently following the fine directions when a little bird whispered in my ear. Nice cache and a lot of fun.
Enjoyed this fun 2stager in a pleasant park with good parking nearby. Thanks for the fun.
Really enjoyed this perfect little two step family cache. There may be some confusion over a rhino and a dinosaur but don't let that make any difference. Thanks for all the fun.

Another one of the fine Davis puzzles we came to do today. We all enjoyed the large number of ducks just grazing and flying around during the cache hunting. This is cache Frog worthy so left 2Dee GEO Frog #1,304 and TN.
Sent the puzzle to the prof to back up the counts and we were still off a bit but along came just the right amount of aid.
On the trail of another when this fine 2 step cache popped up. Couldn't pass up such an interesting and fun cache.
Finally had the time to complete and obtain the bonus after 800 caches since ZCache. Beautiful caching day today. Thanks for the fun.

Mission was quite possible, difficulty maybe now a 2 at best. Location may be different than original location. We have no way to know. Coords good. Log mush and container empty. Added some swag. Put in a new dry log in a ziploc so should now be good to go without any maintenance for a while. TN (nothing to take) left 2Dee GEO Frog #1,139

This memorial and eternal flame located in Sacramento CA, USA, commemerates our fallen heros.
This building at 6151 Garfield ave in Sacramento was constructed by Remodeling specialists, designers and contractors CA Miller & Morgan Designs. The angle is quite sharp, perhaps less than 30 degrees.
We watched this building go up on this extremely odd shaped lot about 10 years ago or so. Hard to imagine how that sharp corner is used inside the building.

This nice little bandshell located in historic Carmichael Park in California has been used for many local events and concerts. I played little league here in the 1950s.
This fine example of the A1-E Skyraider is on display at the McClellan Field historic aircraft exhibit along with many others. The Skyraider was a real workhorse and served during the 50s and 60s as a platform for many different missions. I saw a few of these planes during my stint in the USMC.

Found this handsome fellow in Angels Camp CA. This frog was sponsored by a local body shop and decorated as a race frog to be auctioned and the proceeds to benefit the local school. We have seen Elk, Bears, Horse used in similar fashion in other cities.
One of the very few remaining covered bridges in California. Located at Knight's Ferry over the Stanislaus river.
Constructed in 1863 and finally closed to veicles in 1981. The bridge has elevated interior footwalks with only a wagon's width of space between. The bridge's overhead cross-bracing ws locked with inch square locustwood pins, which are still in place.

Found this nicly restored Altaville Grammar schoolhouse in Altaville CA. Now resides on CDF property.
Erected in 1858 with funds raised by a dance in the Billiard Saloon of the N.R. Prince building which still stands. Is one of the oldest schools in California. Used as a school until 1950. It was replaced by the present Mark Twain Elementary School in Altaville.

Found this great old guy still doing his job while caching in Lodi California, USA
This beautiful memorial is in Lodi California, USA is a memorial to ALL veterans not just those who have preceeded us but those who are yet to come. Another plaque notes memorializing Lodi High School members who perished during WWI.
This fine example of multiple faded ads overlaying one another can be found at 45 N Sacramento St in Lodi California, USA. It can best be viewed from the top level of the railroad parking garage.
Found this nice barber pole advertising this small local shop in Lodi California, USA

Born: 1836 at Utica, NY. Entered Service in the US Navy from New York, NY
Earned The Medal of Honor During the Civil War For heroism August 05, 1864 at Mobile Bay, Fort Morgan, AL
Died: September 10, 1884 at the age of 48. Interred at the IOOF Cemetary in Sacramento CA.
On August 5, Union Admiral David Farragut's Union fleet of eighteen ships entered Mobile Bay, Alabama, and received a devastating fire from Forts Gaines and Morgan and other points. His wooden ships fought valiantly under this devastating fire as well as shells from the rebel gunboats and the ironclad ram Tennessee. After passing the forts, Farragut forced the Confederate naval forces under Admiral Buchanan, to surrender, along with the prized ram Tennessee. Fort Morgan was destroyed and this action effectively closed Mobile Bay as a Confederate port, making the action one of the greatest Naval victories of the war. Ninety sailors and eight Marines were awarded Medals of Honor, the most for any single day in history. Twenty-nine crewmen of the U.S.S. Richmond were numbered among these heroes, including Coxswain Lebbeus Simkins. Despite damage to his ship and the loss of several men on board as enemy fire raked her decks, Seaman Simkins performed his duties with skill and courage throughout a furious two-hour battle.

Found these two huts still alive and well in Woodland California, 1228 E Beamer St. One serves as Dougs Millwright Service. Getting a little rusty but the old girl still looks quite sturdy for her age.

Introduced our good friend Twoms to caching with his first find here. Coordinates were off a bit but he prevailed. We were still focused on the tree near our coordinates so it was good that he was looking all around.
This is a nice family cache with a pleasant walk across Secret Ravine creek. Lots of room for TBs and stuff. Thanks for bringing us to this area.

Coordinates took us into way tooooo much PO and many aliens out flying on a beautiful Spring day. Only looked for about 15 minutes.
Talked at length to one of the aliens and convinced him to give up the UFO sailing and try out a little Geocaching. So cut the search short. Went for UFO Micro II and liked the absense of the PO much better. May try this one at a different time.

Enjoyed another fun night meeting other Geocachers. Talked about favorite caches, learned some new tips. Picked up One Goofy travel bug to take to PA to get him on his way to DisneyWorld in FL.

Great fun meeting and greeting all the Geocachers. Got a lot of tips and tricks and met a lot of very nice people again. Can't wait until the next one.
