Logs for Calin & Niklas 

Really nice walk through the rainforest. Mozzies disturbed the logging though. 

Nice coastal track out to this point. Little tricky finding the cache itself. TFTC! 

Great view from up there. Pretty hot day for our visit. Calin nearly stepped on a brown snake though...  

Easy find. I hope it doesn't get muggled beeing so i midst of everything. 

Nice point, and really tasty ice cream.

Easy find, and we saw dolphins riding the waves.

It's a really nice walk to go the main beach to the pass and then on to Watego and this point before taking the inland track back to main beach. TFTC! 

Surprised to find only one cache around. Found it easy enough on a warm day. 

Found it and admired the view. We're a bit concerned about snakes due to meeting a guy who nearly stepped on one. 

No dolphins and no find. Didn't feel like poking around to much. 

Found it on a walk out to the lighthouse. Calin wasn't to fond of the dogs on the beach, and when going up, she got bitten by a big ant. Really fierce little creatures those. And it hurts! [B)]
Niklas stomped his way back up and found the cache though. 

After defying the signs and any creepy things it was a pretty easy find. Took Marika and Jeffs Wedding bug along for a ride. (Still with us on New years eve.)

Found the pieces of the cache and the replacement logbook. (kind of) Still needs some attention and probably a move, but at least you can sign something. 

Finally found a Sydney cache. Really nifty hide. TFTC! 

Not to many around. So a couple of innovative tricks later we managed to log it safely. 

Great view and a really relaxing place! Calin had to sit this one out in the car due to sore knees. TFTC!

We had a great stay in Le Bons Bay.

Beautiful bay with sealions. We happened to get there just in time to see the catlins rally as well! Cool. 

Nice little place. Read about it in a hostel the day before. 

Caves closed, and logbook very wet. 

Found (but forgot to be logged) while on our round the world trip. As I recall, the nearby Curio Bay backpackers where fully booked, but we had a great stay over at Surat Bay Lodge instead. It is definitely amazing to see those logs, now since (very) long turned into stone.
At the time for the visit, they where building a new platform and access to the beach was a little tricky. 

Great view and a nice experience with both yellow eyed penguins and sea lions around. Good hide as well. Left Geocoin "Butterflys tank full of fish". TFTC!

We also took a trip to the Clifden Caves. With Caroline not feeling very well, Niklas had to go in alone. Quite annoying to nearly get to the end only to be stopped by a room full of water.

Cache really wet and may be in the wrong place. The tree has had somewhat of an accident, and I'm not sure that the hide is still correct.

We had a great time on top of the Rocky Mountains nearby. Could see the cache location from there as well... really narrow bridge btw.

Great day for walking the Tongariro Apline Crossing. We even managed to have lunch at the top of Ngaeruhoe.
Niklas forgot his sunglasses at the hut and had to turn back up again. Great cache!

Our technician had some trouble zooming, so you can't really tell it is us, but we are there.
