Logs for D.Team

02-Oct-07
We've been meaning to do this one since it first arrived 1 street away from us. Easy find at 2pm. Totally deserted so was an easy in and out cache. Took tealight holder and left teddy stickers.

20-Oct-05
Another no find for today. Luckily had a spare pair of shoes in the car as my first pair got very wet due to recent rain. Unfortunately came up empty handed looking for the cache. Noticed a ute full of rubbish on returning to the car. He watched me for a few minutes and then took off. Saw him again parked on the side of the road but he went when he saw my car coming. Took his rego. etc and am very seriously thinking about reporting him for dumping although he didn't actually do it while I was there.

19-Oct-05
My only find in two days. Only found it by accident as my GPS was playing up. Now I know why I've had so many no finds this week.TNLNSL

My luck this week has not been good. 7 no finds in two days including this one. Either I'm going barmy or my GPS is playing up. Found lots of grass and went home with red welts on my arms and legs. I guess I'm allergic to something at this cache site.

11-Oct-05
What a great view, not so sure about the walk though. Did this one without the kids which made it a lot easier. Left Traudel TB and star magnet took star sequins.

09-Oct-05
Thanks for replacing the cache. We had no trouble finding it this time at 1.15pm. TNLNSL

23-Sep-05
Found it easily at 11.40am. Took Traudel TB.

After 4 visits we have nearly given up on this one unless we get some help. 1st visit- couldn't find first stake and kids were hot and hungry:gave up. 2nd visit- found all three stakes but had no idea about bearings so gave up. 3rd visit- found another watering hole after working out bearings but couldn't find cache. 4th visit- with two extra people still couldn't find cache. It's been a while since it was found last and probably so well covered.

22-Sep-05
My son walked straight to this cache as if it was he who had placed it. The log is a bit wet but was still able to write on it.

20-Sep-05
Had no trouble finding this one but had to do a bit of bush bashing with the kids. Found an alternate route out much to my delight. Did not see any wildlife but did find the holes. Took skateboard and rubbers and left stanley knife. Also left No Place Like Home TB.

Just drove past the cache and discovered that the traffic control has had a slight accident of the vehicular kind. Was concerned the the council will be there to fix it so have retreived the cache which is bit worse for wear and re-located it to a much safer area, hopefully. New coords above.

15-Sep-05
This was our first for today. Took Wallet left magnet.

Computers been out for 2 days so have only been able to log this now. Number 2 for the day and yes we were attacked by the magpie too. Our solution: find a large stick and wave it overhead, magpie then disappears. Anyway we found it at 11.10am and took cooler bag and No Place Like Home TB and left wallet and fairy magnet. We nearly gave up so the kids went to play in the park while I found it.

13-Sep-05
Found this one easily at 10.30am. Had an easy walk with the 3 kids until they decided to take a different route back which was all up hill. Swapped turtle, which my daughter has named Flossie, for fairy fridge magnet.
This was our first cache for today with two more on the horizon.

Found this at 11.30am. They sats kept fading out on us so had to use instinct, which paid off. TNLN

Our last one for today, 12.35, and after 2 successful finds added this one to our booty. Didn't use the hint as I think it was quicker from another direction. No animals at all today, except for Bart. My son was happy to find his 2nd one today. TNLN

12-Sep-05
Thought this one was going to be hard to find due to the many hidey holes but we managed it in only a few minutes.
Had an enjoyable walk with the kids but didn't see any koalas. Took knife keyring and left winnie the pooh pen.

This one was not easy with 3 kids in tow but managed to find it after 5 minutes. As a bonus picked up a $10.00 note on the way back. It looked like it had been there for a while.
I let the kids re-hide this one since they found it.
Happy hunting.

20-Apr-05
We actually did all the ground work during the Christmas holidays but have not had a chance to get back to search for the cache as we ran out of time due to 3 hungry kids.

19-Jan-05
Took us a while to find due to bad reception. Once we were back on track we found it ok. Didn't see any wallabies but sure could smell the neighbours. Thought it appropriate to put Rubber Chicken TB in this cache after we rescued him from Trouble. This was our second find for the day and my son located both of them.

This place has had an upgrade since we were here last. We used to be able to drive right up to the toilets. Now there are proper parking areas and nice tables and barbecues. Went for a quick walk and found easily by No. 2 child even though No. 1 child had GPS. Managed to find our way back to the track eventually. TNLN.

Had no trouble finding this. Took Rubber Chicken TB and padlock and left party poppers as none of our other trades would fit.

30-Nov-04
The kids were glad this was an easy one as it was 36 degrees on this day and we managed to find it easily. Although we frequent this area we had never been to this park and found it very interesting. My daughter was quite impressed that she found the cache before the rest of us.
My son chose the hacky sack and put in a water pistol.

Just came from Nowhere in Particular and once again it was my daughter who found this cache. Our batteries expired at approx. 40mtr from the cache so it was guess work that got us there. This time I let my daughter select what she wanted which was the dolphin candle and she left a clip on Phascolarctos cinerus.

Thanks for the cache
Linde,Jessie and Adam.

29-Sep-04
After missing out at treasures, trees and tide we were so glad to find this one. It was very windy and the kids didn't like getting stung by the sand so we made it a quick stop. TNLN.

28-Sep-04
We spent half an hour looking for this one. We went at low tide as suggested and even with 6 pairs of eyes we were still unable to find it even though the GPS said we were right on top of it. Looking forward to see what happens the next time someone goes looking for it.

23-Sep-04
We found our second cache so far. Boy was it hot considering it is only spring. I have driven past this area for the last 11 years and never new this was here. We had no trouble finding the cache and swapped the c.d. wallet for a water pistol and a winnie the pooh pen. We covered the cache up well for the next pursuers. Will be going back to check this area out better when we are more organised. Thanks.

27-Aug-04
This was our first find. The kids loved it. We took the swizel stick and left a pack of cards. I don't think we would have found it without the hints. Plenty of mozzies and prickles.
