Found in company of Blatherskite after visiting relatives in Benalla.
Travelled down old Hume Highway (memory lane?).
Did the calculations, and BEFORE we looked in the wrong place behind Primary School, we found the correct GZ and "Eureka"!!

Great start to the day and perfect weather to match, assisted in the flash picture. No throwing of books was necessary which I'm sure the Victorian State Library was grateful for. Thanks to Rhinogeo & Facitman

Whilst on the way home from the Little Desert with Blatherskite, I had the chance for a leg stretch.
A nice location off the beaten track on a nice warm sunny day.
Took minature clothes peg and left a pair of purple shoe laces.

In the company of Blatherskite, we combined our brain power and the cache was very quickly found.
Could have done it without the "@#*! flies"!
Looked out across the lake for any pink elephants or even flamingos!
I left a Zebra and took the S.A. Fire Brigade badge.

Just as well I am able to get into situations like this. I thought it was going to be hard for both of us, but as it turned out, my "helper" (blatherskite ) is disadvantaged due to his height!!
He may have left a dent in the hard surface above his head!!
I dropped off a Unicorn keyring and took a woolly sheep keytag.

A WOO-HOO as well, as this is a FTF for me.
I "helped" with the arithmetic, spelling, and other brain teasing calculations to get this cache after emerging from the Little Desert.
Somewhat suprised to find Honey in the cache!!
NOT a good idea as ferals have a better sense of smell and can destroy the cache contents, so now it is in my pantry..............YUM!
Left minature gym boot keyring.
A great effort has gone into hiding your 1st cache, and bringing cache seekers to this area. Well done.

This was a quick find after disecting the clue and the satellites being kind to me. A lovely sunny afternoon for a leg stretch. I liked the chicken coop "ADA" and I'm not sure if the chicken wire was there to keep the chickens in or out??

On my way home from Warn Winch Challenge, detoured to find some blue rocks? It was a wet and cold day and searched in the most obvious place and "hey presto!"

An easy find after a quick power nap (zzzzz). On my way home from day out at Warn Winch Challenge near Willow Grove. The day was wet and cold so with soggy jeans, I found the cache after trekking past it to another fallen tree branch. Grrrrrrrrrrrr! [:(!]

Found this after a prayer or two. A nice day for a walk around the Port city. TNLNSL TFTC Big Grin

This cache took alot of stealth to find during a busy weekend in the Port city. Muggles by the hundred's prevented me from getting it initially but I returned with determination and found it with no muggles insight. Big Grin

A quick grab at 8am just to get the heart pumping, with wonderful views (eventhough it was very cold), and a chance to find a cache in the A.C.T.

Found this cache to be a tricky one. After much thought into "How in the hell do i get this one", I waited for the muggles to disperse and made my move.

Took TB and left green whale

After visiting "bloody Kevin's" neighbourhood, and in the cover of torrential rain, this was an easy (but extremly wet) find. Signals bouncing around the place due to bad weather. Returned to the car and cranked up the heater to dry out!!!!!!!!
Rain is now chasing us down the coastline of New South Wales.

A great place for a leg stretch, with great views, and a chance to breath fresh air. An easy find despite the terrain.

This was a cache I had to search for, due to GPS signals bouncing around the trees. Eventually found GZ but needed assistance in retrieving it (due to clue).
TFTCSL. Trash Out (2 stubbies)

This became my last find for the day because shortly afterwards, this is a result of a run in with the local wildlife at 100kph (I think he was after the stubbies!!)

An easy find after working out the clues. The number of choices was limited.

On our way back to Melbourne after attending Historic Races on nearby Phillip Island and visting friends and relatives in this town. Met up with hi pressure, another cacher we had seen earlier in the day and exchanged details of caches in the area.
Lovely location and a nice garden area made it a good place for a find.
Saw remnants of the past mining operations and the plaques of the 2 mining disasters that happened.
An interesting history lesson.

This was my 2nd cache for the day and a lovely quiet one too! Local knowledge brought Blatherskite and myself right to the car park and I had a very quick find, with a magpie or 3 and the gardener nearby.
Nice hot day and it was easy to dry out soggy contents of container, including the sachets of Silica Gel.

The log book is in need of a repacement.

In the company of Blatherskite, we were at nearby Phillip Island for the Historic Car Races and would do a few caches in the area. this was to have been our 1st find of the day except for a very annoyning local who hung around like a bad.. you get the idea!
Having local knowledge, I navigated our way to the start as I knew of the big "visitor".
The information to the final GZ was collected, but we will have to return later when we can avoid that particular local resident and claim our find.

Thanks anyway for the hunt and the history lesson.
[:(!]

I would like to stay at the nearby B & B's when I visit the area next. Loved the scenic drive from the big parade to GZ, and wandered down to the beach.
Took in the excellent views and watched a few people having fun in the water, and a few cannines were having fun too!
We placed an Amex card (sample only - has NO credit) and took out a Seahorse.

After the Historic Races on nearby Phillip Island, I had the time to add a few caches to my list, with the help of Blatherskite.
I did the gate opening and closing along the way, and we both had fun relocating a baby calf with its mum after being stranded on the access road. It needed a good drink of water due to the day being windy and rather hot.

On our way back to Melbourne after a weekend at the nearby Historic Car Races and visiting relatives and friends. This was a quick and easy grab on a rather warm and windy day.

Thanks piggysue for the cache.

This was a combined effort on a rather hot and windy day.
I have been past this structure countless times over the years, and I helped Blatherskite retrieve the cache by admiring the views and warning of any possible muggles that may pass by.
Blatherskite returned with a cute TB that will travel with us to Queensland very soon, and placed a huge green pen into the cache.

Found after much searching high and low and after getting jumped on by a dog (that i didnt know).

It turned out to belong to another geocacher who was searching for the same item. Corrected their GPS after much chatting. We continued our search and after some furniture rearranging, we found the cache.

Returning to Mansfield after a perfect day out exploring the nearby High Country, I found this one before my geopartner, BLATHERSKITE, by shoving him out of way.
I have to dominate somewhere!
A nice quiet location that even had the local equine population amused.
We will be returning to this location again soon, and will camp in the lovely camping areas nearby.
Thanks pprass for bring us to a great location.
Dropped off the hoseclamp from 360 Degrees, and took the Kangaroo keyring.

Found @ 0915 in the company of Blatherskite, and early enough before the huge crowd that attended the official re-opening of nearby Craig's Hut, that was destroyed during the bushfires that ripped through the Alpine National Park in the summer of 2006/07.
Lots of flies also present, but were shared equally!
Light refreshments, a picnic lunch, great views, even a helicopter, and lots of 4wd's, officials, speeches, made it a most enjoyable day.
We will no doubt return to this fantastic place very soon!
Thank you Derringer for placing a cache here.
