We were about to give up as it was getting dark and mum was getting impatient. But as we were walking off Zenon suddenly held it in his hands.

Grr... I so regret not taking my camera! Not because the resurgence is so beautiful, no I've been here before and I just love jumping into the nice warm crystal pools. But today after heaps of rain the clear, still, blue waters have tunred into a whitewater waterfall and everything was flooded. I prefer it the other way, but it was amazing to see ...

I spent ages looking here twice, without any succes. Must be a really hard one. But then why do all these people keep finding the cache easily? Hmm.
Then I got Clemrock and Zenon to come with me and as soon as they came close to gz they held it in their hands. Yup, I'm definitely blind.

Last time we couldn't find the numbers on the Doc sign and quickly gave up without even thinking about it. This time we just skipped the first stage and voila - there it was!
TFTC it's an awesome place, but why is the clearest freshwater called "pupu" ?

Hmm ... after a long search I thought I might as well just have another look and there it was. How could I have been that blind?? [?]

Hmm ... at first the GPS pointed to a different spot with heaps of muggles right there. Bugger! But then the hints made us look somewhere else and it was exactly the right spot!

Well, approaching from the non-beach-side would have been way easier and would have involved way less prickles ... but would it have been just as fun?

Another quick find on our way out of Nelson.
Poor mum had to impatiently wait in the car .. must be a hard life as the only family member who's not interested in random box searching

To be honest, we just turned up, quickly trespassed on private land to find the cache and drove off again. Maybe we should have read the information board... hmm ... nah

And Zenon v K of course had to visit the church for ages after we found the box within seconds. We really shouldn't take him to caches like that if we want to leave reasonably soon ...

This one turned out to be a race between Clemrock and Zenon v K to find the cache first. I just generously stood there with my GPS, pointed in the right direction and let them do all the hard, dirty work. Ah, life can be so easy ... (finding it yourself is way more fun though)

At first I thought I made some mistake with the numbers (as I usually do) because the final was quite a bit away ... but then .. wow this area is really amazing ... and the name of the cache pretty much proved that we were right anyways ...

I'm not sure where the answers for the last two questions are meant to be found, we couldn't find them, neither at the signs there nor in the Internet. But searching for the leading angle of these dunes taught me pretty much everything else about the spit ...
