Found this superfund site between Iroquois Avenue and
Buffalo Road in Harborcreek, PA. It is known as the Gindlesperger Tire/Drum site. The EPA ID is PAD981109499.
Took Coord reading near entrance off Iroquois Ave. Private property/no trespassing signs and lots of water prevented us from getting any closer. Site is located on other side of tracks. Took 1 picture of that general area which is off limits.
Chose this site because I know the owner and it is fairly close to my home.

Found this minor league stadium in Batavia, NY. It is the Dwyer Stadium and is the home of the Batavia Muck Dogs. The Dogs are a Class A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
At the close of the 1995 season the old Dwyer Stadium was demolished and replaced with this new three million dollar facility, which opened in time for the 1996 season.

This house was built in 1832. Stone exterior. One of few original farmhouses still standing when GE purchased the land in 1907. House is known to have been on the route of the underground railroad and has the remains of a tunnel in the basement through to the lake where the slaves were routed. Today it is privately owned and restored. It is located on the corner of Rt.5 and Water Street, Lawrence Park, Erie, PA

Didn't expect to ever find one of these but stopped to find a cache near Oberlin, Ohio and presto... there were four of these tractors just sitting all around the cache. One has already been used but three here haven't.
I chose the best looking one of the lot. It was even powered up and I included a shot of the owner stoking the fire. Had a nice chat with the fellow whose wife is a geocacher.

Just loved the area this waterfall was at. The landscaping was beautiful all around the waterfall and there was even a nearby pond.
Found this Alamo-like home near Conneaut, Ohio. Made my son do a U-turn when I noticed this as we were driving by to find a cache. Thanks!
Found this Barber Pole in Wesleyville, near my home in neighboring Lawrence Park. Terry Etzel is the owner of this Barber Shop. I almost thought he didn't have a pole but it was actually inside the front window.
