I'll temp disable this one till leek gets a chance to check it out..

As for ownership this cache was placed by reddwarf (with my help) when he moved away I took ownership.
When I moved overseas Leek volunteered to take over that task..

19-Feb-05
Found it with some friends on a pretty cold day, it even started snowing for a minute..

Nice hiding spot! out of sight for muggles, but easy to find for the trained GeoCaching Eye Smile

18-Feb-05
Yeah reception can be a bit tricky due to all the trees near GZ.
Please post the coords of where your GPS says it is so I can average out the different vallue's

This cache had been driving me nuts, but it turned out to be a prime hiding spot!!

Exelent cache!
Took me 4 or 5 tries to find it and then only after using the phone a friend option...
We had an idea on how it was hidden, and we were right, but then actually finding it proofed to be a lot harder than expected!

I wanted to find this one before I left Australia, and luckily I did!
Great one Maccamob!

(one of) our last cache in Sydney...
But what a nice spot!!

Took nothing
dropped of GeoCoin.

Thanks all who showed up, sorry I didnt speak to you longer Sad
But it was great seeing a the familiar and new faces for the last time...
Keep enjoying Caching in this great country and dont be a stranger if you are in the area!

27-Aug-04
This one has been on my list for a long long time and was the only one near our (old) home we hadn't done yet.

We brought Team Choc Lab along so they could log their first find!
With great team work we found it, me looking and pointing out from below, Mr ChocLab grabbing from above!

Sorry bout the late notice guys, you know how it goes with moving.. busy busy busy, and it is even worse if you move international...
Poor exuse I know Wink

21-Aug-04
Went to pick up Rami TB to take him/her to Europe so it finds its way back to the Heimat!

Took TB
Left gambling goodies (bell for for the pokies, dice, some coins and some 'gold'

Went here to grab Western Boy Bug, but boy what a view!!

My muggle friends were so awestruck that Geocaching takes you to these 'hidden' spots that they wanted to buy a GPSr too Smile

07-Aug-04
Whoah Piggy, had a bad day or something...

I didnt mention it in my first log, but when Bear mentioned it I just replied I was happy it wasnt just me..

Cant speak for bearleft, but I'm sure he ment it with a big Wink not to p1$$ you off...
To err is human, and I read it like he just pointed you out to the typo is a bit sarcastic way...

Lets all take a chill pil and enjoy the great view at GZ whether you find it or not, it is a great location for a cache..

Peace out...

Our 50th!!
And a cache worth this special occasion!

Finding the cache wasnt that hard, but finding the track that lead to it proved to be a hard nut to crack.
I think we drove a full 360 around the cache area before we found a good way in..

Loved the pics of the old logs!

Beware: some nasty spider hide out at GZ!!

Took: TB
Left: hands free car kit

18-Jul-04
On a windy cloudy day we went out to search for a lonely virgin (cache).
We wondered through the wild forest while the wind try to scare us away. Through the valleys and over the plains we went.
When we got close to the virgin dark clouds gathered above us and we feard for Black riders...
But then we found her and took her to safety...

After gutting her (hey you expected a happy end didnt you! Wink ) we took her back where we found her and put her body in the spot we found her..

Took GC.com neckstrap and platypus TB
Left GC.com/GPS sticker and neville TB.

14-Jun-04
Teamed up with BigMickB and 2 pairs of eyes see more than 1 Smile
WP2 is very clever (read: sneaky, in true Leek style..)

The final cache gave us some trouble but in the end we did find it Smile

Took CD
Left GPS/Phone holder (for in car) plus a pin.

05-Jun-04
We got very grumpy, since we didnt find it...
Reception was so bad that WP1 was way off... we found a number of 5 digit numbers and tried all of them, but alas no luck...

28-May-04
Had a go, but didnt find it... reception was pretty bad Sad
Nice Area though..

Nice container!!

Found it quite easy thank god Wink

Nice area, just across the water from where I live Smile

24-May-04
We saw a fox while searching for this cache and when we got close to GZ we found a big lizzard hiding behind a rock, so I guess we saved its live Smile

Dropped off Mr. Mugatu.

23-May-04
Stayed in Bathurst on a (long) weekend and had a few laps around the circuit Smile

The museum was pretty nice too (allthough I'm not sure it it is worth $7 a head), especially the video.

Found 3 stone bridges at this area, the one in the distance was a 100% stone railroad bridge, the others had some metal support.
Country NSW, near Lithgow.

Will update more detailed coords soon..

22-May-04
Got it! after 3 tries (same day)
At first I overlooked the name of the cache... DOH!
I went in the cave, looked around saw the chain, thought: 'that would be a clever way!' pulled it, it was stuck so I didnt pull harder since I didnt know what it was...
Went out, looked outside again, MrsT read out the instructions again, including the title, BINGO! went in again pulled a little harder and there it was!!!

Brilliant hiding spot!!

09-May-04
MrsT wanted to go for a walk in the rain (I guess she misses Holland Wink ) So we walked all the way to the cache..

At first we were about 30 meters off, but a quick reset of the etrex put us on the right track/spot.

Took Mr. Mugatu TB
Left TB/card 'Wilson' and a dice..

08-May-04
Second time around... again didnt find it..
I have a funny feeling this is one of those hollow plastic 'rocks'...

At first I thought the cache was vandalized, since I found an empty ziplockbag, a golf ball and a home made bong in a tree...

But luckily after some searching I found it safe and sound Smile

Dropped card #13 of at 'lane cove lake'

02-May-04
[After a nice walk I found this one really easy
] When I stepped up to get better sat. reception I saw it pretty much in the first place I looked!

[
Took: pens and Wilson 'TB'
Left: Big W truck

BTW lots of lorrekeets today too, but they didnt seem to like my presence...]

01-May-04
Spotted the cache quickly, but getting it was harder since there was a muggle walking a dog.
I was just in time to put it back because soon the place was swamped with muggles...

took: 1 US$
Left Keychain

Bugger, this one showed up nice and close to M5 Swayin' so I went for it.. My palm didnt have it in it so I decided to just go for it...

I was wondering where on earth one could hide a cache here.. but now I know why Wink

FYI:
Found Wilson card serial 00013 in M5 Swayin' send the email.. but it bounced..

30-Apr-04
Found it fairly easy but the paintjob is pretty good!

Took: Dangerous explosives (party popper)
Left: my 2 cents... (US$0.02)

The trail was hardly there anymore so it was quite an adventure...Wandered around GZ for a while and then I found it.
It's still a bit damp, so I dryed it out a bit..

Took: Rocket (cap gun 'rocket')
Left: police Badge.

25-Apr-04
Found it on the way back to the big smoke.
Nice park! We did the full circle and got wet feet! Wink

No flies, but plenty of hayfever...

When I was near the cache, I saw a man in the distance...
Given the unusual location I thought he could be a cacher... and it was! it Was DAZ1950 (the cache owner himself) walking his dog.

Found the cache after some looking. Great idea for the cache container BTW!

Took Stapler
Left stuffed animal.

24-Apr-04
I would like to propose a rename for this cache Wink
Lets call it a brigde too far...
See the pics why..

I've been here before, but didnt find it that time..

17-Apr-04
FINALLY!!!

After spending another hour at the GZ I was about to give up once again.. but then... I saw something round and green..
veni(3x) vine(2x) vici (1x)!!!
I must have stubled past it all those times...
it is not it the usual hiding spots, so that kind of put me off gard...

Still I'm very glad I finally conured this one!!!

Had a good look, but couldnt find it either...

Did see an empty clear (square) plastic container on top of the rock.. sure hope that wasnt it.. if so it has been mugged...

Decided to go for this virtual...
Been in the area a milion times but never put in the effort to honor the legend..

We saw this one pop up on the GPS, so we decided to make a quick stop...
Unfortunately we didnt read the info page and were looking for a ghost...

BTW the weahter made the ink on the 'Missed it' page run out quite a bit... may need replacement soon..

Trafic was so bad that we arrived after sun set... lucky I had brought my torch Smile
Found it fairly easy after navigating the terrain.

Didnt have time to read the logbook, just enough to scrible a bit in it (the torch would give me away).

Left 'Red Dragon' and miles of Smiles TB.
Took 'kidnaped' by Robert-Lois Stevenson

16-Apr-04

03-Apr-04
I came saw, and didnt find it Sad
Didnt have much time to search since it was getting dark and MrsT was afraid I would fall off the cliffs...

Better luck next time..
