It's been a tough life for this little cache, it has long last actually disappeared for real this time.

You will be missed. 

I was up in Sydney earlier in the week, I did manage to stop in and check on this cache.

It was gone, at least I didn't find it where I placed it, swampgekko if you do stop by and actually find it, can you let me know where it's now residing, otherwise just confirm that it's missing and I'll perm archive it.

Seems to have been washed away in the storm we had a few weeks ago, I'll look at replacing it, but I'll have to survey the damage the storm did to the area first. 

After a hiatus of about a year I introduced a new friend to geocaching. He has been going on a mad geocaching spree ever since and he doesn't even have a GPSr yet!

So we decided to go together today and get a few caches with our kids, this was 2/4 for today.

Took something, left something else.

The kids loved the swap selection so much they swapped all their swaps from the days previous caches with items in this cache. Thanks.

Cache replaced. 

It seems that people either find this cache easy or very hard.

I'd hazard a guess that it's still there but if anyone thats already done this one could find the time to check on it, I would appreciate it. (my original maintenance guy can't anymore due to family health issues) 

Stopped by this one today, I see what people are saying about the old hide being gone, the new hide is fine though. 

And here I was thinking it was OK due to that log, I guess I'll have to find my way back to the "scene" or whatever and go check it. Cheers, ThatGuy007

First to find by: ThatGuy, my Wife (AngelGal003) and our youngest daughter.

This was our first Earthcache find and we enjoyed it. It's always good to have a reason to visit the Mersey Bluff.

P.S. There is no need to go through or around the gate, just follow the cycling/walking track a bit and cut left on the obvious track just before the main tracks first big right hand turn.

Nice cache this one in a spot I have been planning to put one for about a year (I really just have to put them out dammit)

The kids didn't enjoy this one simply because they did not wear appropriate footwear (thongs) and couldn't keep up with Dad.

We didn't make a swap as the item I had brought with me was just too big, however, I did leave a "Unite for Diabetes" Travel Bug. please help it move around.

I checked on this one today just because it hasn't moved in a while and I was in the area. It wasn't there. Has anyone got it? or has anyone not logged a DNF?

I must ask people to carefully read ALL rules before moving this cache (there is a copy enclused with the cache).


I feel that I should highlight the below rule here:

"3. Make sure that you only move "Wild Goose Cache", at most, a few km's. Eg, Devonport to Ulverstone is way too far and NOT allowed. To get from Devonport to Ulverstone WGC would have to make several stops. Eg, Devonport to Forth to Turners Beach to East Ulverstone. There will have to be exceptions I realise, but please ask permission first."

ThatGuy finally had a chance to get this cache, alas, like escapee33 and sirius Tas before me, I too found the area and a few perfect hidey hole but no cache.
