G'day Swampy, thanks for the cache.Today I walked 5kms with s-s-r at parkrun, then attended an event, ducked out to Claremont to find a cache while it was probably actually still there, then headed up old Collins Vale Road.I parked on the bend, pretty much bang on exactly 1 crowlometre from GZ, and about 250 elevation metres below.I zigged and zagged and zigged and zagged, and repeated that process for 2.6kms.After 1 hour (I stopped a few times for um, um, views, yes, views! ) I reached the eastern summit of Goat Hills.Drinks and sustenance were taken on board, whilst rest was had, followed by a bit of exploration, taking in the views etc. Then it was time to search GZ, and the twin containers were soon found coexisting happily in the same hidey hole.I signed both logbooks, just in case. All's well at GZ, despite 12 months since last visit. After consulting s-s-r, I left them both in place and commenced a 40 minute amble back - with a nice cool breeze.I was very happy to be back at the car and finally tick off big woks - and that's about 12kms so far today. Not too much wildlife apart from a few birds but happy to spot a couple of echidnas.I also noted a couple of goats - and here was I thinking there'd only be one silly goat up here today.Cheers,EPs
G'day Budgietas, thanks for the cache.I didn't find this to be a simple multi, but that was probably just me.Nine days ago I arrived at the listed coordinates and was totally distracted by an incorrect small round white thing.Note to others: ignore the PVC pipe cap!Anyway, I eventually found what I needed and had coordinates for GZ.About a week later I found myself at GZ and quickly found the container. However I wasn't really prepared for the next step.Initially it took me ages to locate what I needed, after swearing at and resetting my phone. Then - all hot and bothered - without my glasses I decided to take my intel home to extrapolate what I needed in more comfort and less pressure.Today I walked 5kms with s-s-r at parkrun, then attended an event, ducked out to Claremont to find a cache while it was probably actually still there, then made an arduous 5.4 km return steep slog to finally tick off Big Woks. So, I'm on a roll, why not drop by GZ now that I have the means (hopefully) to get to the logbook.Luckily, it all fell into place and I was quickly recording my moniker.Yay!Done!Dropped off a TB into the Music Box.A unique experience. Cheers,EPs
Thanks Michells&hound for the event, timed to fit in with parkrun/walk.Great to catch up with the regulars, the not so regulars, and the interlopers. Thanks for the snacks!

Lots of DNFs, lots of erosion following lots of rain.Would appreciate the CO checking this one please.
G'day Tas_Geo, thanks for the cache.En route home this arvo after an HWC amble from Oatlands to Parattah and back!12 of us stopped hereabouts for a leg stretch, a comfort break, and a coffee, milkshake or similar.I was encouraged by Lil Rafa to find this one while we were here.I wandered over with an ever-interested muggle friend to make the find - which did take a little longer than it should, even though I was looking for the correct container. Then to rub NaCl into the wounds, I didn't have a pen - most unusual. So muggle D walked back to the car to fetch one.All is well at GZ.Cheers,EPs ??
Thanks for your first cache TasmanienGomaringen.I dropped by this morning and made a quick find. I have spent a bit of time at this picturesque oval, watching both cricket and soccer.Cheers,EPs ??

Thanks TT for the cache.A quick day trip to Scout Island Corra Linn, and to visit Launceston family. This one was near enough, and I enjoyed the drive up, and the river views.A quick find once I looked in the right place, without the GPSr !Left a small TB.Heavy showers, I got a smidge damp.CheersEPs
Thanks Ryan00 for the cache, way too many muggles and not enough time last time I was here.Different this morning, had the place to myself.I remember fishing off the old bridge, and my father catching a rather large sea-run trout.A quick find between showers.Cache was out in the open, I used a couple of rocks to give it a bit more cover.Left a TB.A quick day trip to Scout Island Corra Linn, and to visit family.CheersEPs
Hi Kettle_Cleaner, a quick find of your cache today.I really enjoyed driving this gravel road, not so much the caching on a blind crest, so I parked further down the road and walked back.A quick day trip to Scout Island Corra Linn, and to visit Launceston family. This one was near enough, so it was on the to-do list.CheersEPs
Thanks Keechox, for the cache.A quick day trip to Scout Island Corra Linn, and to visit Launceston family. This one was close by - in a spot often visited in my childhood and youth. Thanks for bringing me back.A quick find once I looked in the right place, whilst avoiding the muggle in the nearby car.CheersEPs
DNF I solved this way back, but never got the opportunity to call by to search.Today though I could stop and search, but to no avail as there's a new vineyard, a new fence and no sign of any trees or bushes as the area has been cleared for said fence.I did poke around for a bit, but no evidence of a cache or its remnants could be found.I did double my coords, and the checker still says Correct.Could the CO please check.Cheers,EPs

Many thanks to AmazingDaughter and CO AlbyDangles for yet another annual instalment of the great Adamsfield adventure that you so generously and meticulously conduct for the benefit of the geocaching community. As you know I was accompanied by MuggleMatt and stainless-steel-rat on this trip in my 2WD chariot but we were pleased to grab a ride with the CO for the 4WD component - thank you.Great to see new Geocachers, but the muggle steadfastly remains just so.A special location - we are all very lucky to be able to visit.A great event, great info, great catering, great views, great company and great fun.Certainly (but sadly, a virtual) favourite. Cheers,EPs
G'day s-s-r, thanks for the cache, I'm logging today as a beta finder from last year. After yet another Adamsfield Event this morning, all 19 attendees jumped into 5 4WDs for an exploratory adventure.Great to see new Geocachers, but the muggle steadfastly remains just so.This was one stop and while most were looking for the cache, others were looking for relics, but both were left in situ.Cheers,EPs ?? PS - thanks for the great company this weekend, along with Muggle Matt.

G'day Terry Pratchett, thanks for another book, another cache, another puzzle, and another walk.Oh, and another game, and a good one too although I've not played it for a while.Unlike quite a few of the Discworld puzzles, I managed to solve this one pretty quickly. With another edition nearby solved over the weekend, it seemed sensible to assassinate a pair of flying animals with a solo bit of geology. So I proposed a walk in the area to my muggle mate, and he was keen. He's been on a handful of caching outings with me, but steadfastly retains his muggle status. We parked more or less as suggested, and generally followed the Slave's route, but in the opposite direction. It didn't take too long to arrive at GZ, and a quick find was made, of a good sized cache, with interestingly themed contents.I decided to take the TBs to move them on, one's been here a while, and seems to be still in the hands of the CO, but I'll attend to that soon. Thanks Lil Rafa for all the fun. KD was suitably impressed.Cheers,EPs
G'day Terry Pratchett, thanks for another book, another cache, another puzzle, and another walk.I quite enjoyed solving this one, and was most pleased that I didn't add anything to the checker's red no count.I did have an issue with F and H because of the resulting minutes, but I resolved that before I engaged the checker.I reckon when I tell you what I did, you'll have a good laugh - stayed tuned.Like the Slave and his Queen, I now had 2 solved Discworld caches to find in this same general locale. So I proposed a walk in the area to my muggle mate, and he was keen. He's been on a handful of caching outings with me, but steadfastly retains his muggle status. We parked more or less as suggested, and generally followed the Slave's route, but in the opposite direction, and I reckon that our journey between the caches was nowhere near as elegant as his. After a trudge using some road, some lesser tracks, some no-tracks, and some other tracks, we eventually got within a few metres, and commenced our search. We both spotted it almost straight away.My accomplice did the retrieval and was impressed with its size, composition and contents. We luved the inner container. After signing the log, we set about solving the bonus puzzle. While I was fighting off some of Alby's mozzies, my mate got most of the puzzle pieces in place and I finished it off. Team effort.I chose to take the TB to move it on.Thanks Lil Rafa for all the fun. KD was suitably impressed - did you have it air-dropped in, or did the GSPs play a part?Adding a well deserved favourite Cheers,EPs

Finally after pouring over maps and the www, various visits, lunch a security PAF, I finally had a some coordinates that looked acceptable. I'm usually all over the place on Fridays and today I was in the general area with some time, so called by GZ. I was nervous to search too closely - without gloves - due to the amount of rubbish (discarded school lunches?) and a visual search was hampered by vegetation. So I used another PAF to narrow down the search area as I had no suitable PPE with me. Not too long after, I was adding my name to the 'new' log thanks to the previous finders. An interesting concept, thanks for the cache mr_johna.Cheers,EPs

On the way home from Launnie, not intending to cache this trip, but I've been toting a TB for too long, looking for a decent sized container to place it in.After an impromptu catch-up with Lil Rafa at Somercotes, we continued our travel but called in here to drop off the TB.I pulled up 10m from GZ, and having already read the hint I left the GPSr in the car, and walked straight to GZ with Mrs EPs.Sadly there was a couple of wads of toilet paper on top of the hide. Flicked that away with a stick, and carefully removed the cammo to find some liquid atop the cache. So needed to proceed with care just in case.Anyway, dropped the TB, signed the logbook, and replaced - hopefully in a little better knick than found.I hope this isn't a regular wee stop location. Thanks Geo_Tas for the cache.Cheers,EPs
On the way home from Launnie, not intending to cache this trip, we spotted Lil Rafa at South Perth as we passed. So decided to pull into the next one - that they'd probably stop at - to have a catch up chat. We'd only been here about 2 minutes when Lil Rafa parked behind us.After a bit of a chat, I wandered over to GZ, and overshot, but Lil Rafa and Mrs EPs stopped bang on GZ.The cache was soon to hand and our names added to the log sheet.A bit too early in the season for cherries! Thanks Geo_Tas for the cache.Cheers,EPs

Thanks for this bonus cache Budgietas.I did enjoy a walk around the quarantine station reserve completing the Adventure Lab before hand to obtain the final coordinates. Then I was able to make a quick find here. All is well at GZ Cheers,EPs
The previous finder alerted me that this may need some TLC, and so after the recent DNF as well, I thought I'd best check it out.En route back from Bruny Island today, so I dropped in with a replacement. The original one is still in place, but the split ring was in poor condition and the o-ring was missing, so I took the original away for refurbishment, and left a new one, but with the old log as that is still good for a few more finds.

Visited GZ today and found that the host tree has been removed. After digging for a while in the dirt and vegetation debris, I uncovered the cache still in good condition, but it's little wonder that there's been some recent DNFs. Cache has been re-hidden a few metres away, the calculation for WP7 (final GZ location) and the hint have both been updated accordingly.

Hi Alby, thanks for organising.I shall be there, probably plus 1, a muggle!Expect to be staying close by.Will most likely need a ride for the post event activities, but still working thru transport logistics.Looking forward to it.CheersEPs (X2)
hi e.gregory1, thanks for the cache.I drive past this 'ere so called 'meteorite' at least twice most days, but never stopped before.Today I did stop, safely crossed the road, checked out the rock, too the required pic, and managed to cross back over safely to the car.Answers sent to the CO.Pic included below.Cheers,EPs
