Found with minniek on our way home after a caching adventure weekend.Day 2 of our Colo River Region Caching Adventure. After an amazing days caching yesterday mainly on the river, it was time for some bushwalking for caches today. The main aim were the Challenges and Yin Yang series (or at least as many as we had solved). After that we started heading home. We diverted to grab this one as we have decided to do at least one of this series every time we drive past. After gathering the required info we made a quick find and sign.Thanks Booo Booo !!

Found with minniek and the rest of Team CC24 (Canberra Canoeists 2024) during our Colo River Kayaking Adventure today.As soon as the event and the attempt on this series was published, minniek and I were there. This is our sort of fun group effort caching run that we enjoy so much. Most of the puzzles had been solved earlier, with a push to solve the final ones during the last month. Today we launched and had a great day on the water (well - I guess I was the only casualty with a sprained wrist after my kayak turned turtle on a sandbar - thank goodness for the safety boat !!). All but one cache were found, although quite a few needed maintenance which we had permission to do. The team work was awesome to watch. All good things must come to an end and when we all reached land it was a tired but happy bunch of people on shore. We then did a few more caches on land - mostly Challenge Caches - before heading to tonight's event in Wiseman's Ferry.Thanks ilook4geo !! Will check my stats for this one.

Attended with minniek and - wow - so many other Cachers, most of which went out on the water for the days adventure.Up nice and early at the camp ground. After a quick pack up we headed down to here for the kayak prep and the event. The energy could be felt this morning - everyone looking forward to a great day on the water. After getting ready and the event photo was taken, it was launch time. My thanks to Mr Googlehihihi for helping everyone launch without issue.Thanks for the event and organising everything Mighty Minions !!

Attended with minniek and a whole bunch of Cachers from near and far.What a great turn out. After we loaded up the KiaVan this afternoon for the weekends kayaking and caching we hit the highway, and got to this event nicely on time. Stood around chatting about all things Geocaching - mostly about tomorrows paddle - then headed over to the wonderful old pub for a dinner and a beer. A lovely event to kick off the weekends adventures.Thanks Kittykatch !!

Attended with minniek and a bunch of locals.Wow this club has changed. It was great to sit and chat with everyone for a while, until the time came for us to head of home for our dinner. Lots of great plans in place especially the upcoming Kayaking at Colo River.Thanks for the event Kittykatch !!

I was at home today doing the usual things - cleaning various parts of the house and preping for dinner, when there was a loud knock at the door. Now - I'm a law abiding GeoCacher - and so I was quite surprised when I opened the door to see The Self Proclaimed GeoCache Police on my doorstep - looking wonderful in there University Style Uniforms. "Are You fitzy_1965??" Barked the Leader. I drew myself up to Attention - memories of my time in Army come flooding back - and yelled back "Yes Sir!" They started wagging their fingers at me yelling something about cache maintenance taking precedent over all other human activities. I don't remember much else as I was still at attention. They soon stormed off, and so I dropped all house activities (which will get me in trouble with the wife) and jumped into the GeoMobile and hit the road with our Cache Maintenance Bag. Climbing the ladder with no ground crew I soon had a replacement in - well - place ! Having survived that, I replaced several other caches, then headed home to hopefully avoid the wrath of minniek re said cleaning and dinner prep !This cache is back up high and ready to earn the T5 again. Perhaps the Self Proclaimed Cache Police might delete their "Found It" Log and come back and do it "Properly???"

The Canberra Centenary Trail is an awesome walk / ride that I highly recommend.I did the original caches along here way back on 29 Feb 2016. Boy has the views changed as far as the suburbs go ! I was with the CO when these new caches were placed, and now that the first to find etc has gone I'm claiming a find.Thanks for the cache and the fun day DSD !!

Found this one a few weeks ago during an invasion of the area. Now that the dust has settled and I've caught up on all my logging I have ran the checker for this one - and success !Thanks Toriaz !! Attended with minniek and quite a few of the locals. And a Joint *FTF* as well !We were in town on non-caching business (What????) and managed to find the time and car parks to visit this event. Nice to catch up with the CO after quite a while. Alas after about 5 minutes we had to continue on our way. See you all again soon.Thanks injuryman !!
