Had a look for this one and found something else but abandoned the search due to muggles arriving, messaged the owner re my other find, but still no reply by the 11-2-24. I hope this is checked ASAP
Good hide, 3rd find for the day. Down in NSW for a funeral in Bathurst yesterday, thought I would get a couple of caches before flying back to Queensland tomorrow. TFTC

I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. As with the last cache, the water was a wee bit close and up high, I kept an eye out for Crocodiles whilst searching. TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. Number 10 find for the day, the hint was a good starting point. TFTC.

I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. First cache for the day, a quick and easy find, TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. This cache needs a container, it is just a wee plastic bag, easy to find nontheless. TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. A quick and easy find given that it was not covered at all, like most of the others that I had already found today, Replaced with a bit of cammo. TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. After a short search, I felt hot, tired and defeated so sat down nearby in the shade to contemplate my next approach, However, I noticed a family coming along the walkway holding what I thought was a GPS, I sung out "When you find it, let me know". The female of the group looked suprised and I then walked over and introduced myself, giving them a couple of pathtags for their collection. cosmonaut97 was their caching name and Mr cosmonaut97 found the container and duly signed it on my behalf. They related to me that the MEGA was on in Townsville next week, but unfortunately I will be back in Charters Towers. TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. This one was blocked off and the kind workers allowed me entry when I fessed up to what I was doing, one of the worker even assisted in retrieving the cache for me to sign, How Wonderful was that. TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. This one had quite a few local muggles sitting nearby, so not a good time to look.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. No 5 cache for the day, a quick and easy find, TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. As I had no idea how many Power Trail Caches I have found, I decided to give signing the log a miss, I was actually too tired to care.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. I totally missed seeing this one, perhaps I didn't download it onto my GPS. Another time perhaps?
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. I did not find this one today, the mowerman passed me several times whilst out caching so I just gave him a hearty wave each time. Maybe another time.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. another quick and easy find, TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. Nice look at the river and another quick and easy find, TFTC.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. Wow, my legs had to really stretch themselves for this final cache for the day. An easy find as it was not in the place given in the hint. I signed the log and replaced it where I thoght it should be but forgot to take a piccie. Oh well the piccie of the cluster figs taken earlier will have to suffice and be my personal log! I then rang weroamin for a lift home around the corner to the Riverside Convention Centre where we stayed for a couple of nights whilst he had his tooth attended to. I have left a couple to complete on another trip into Townsville when time permits. TFTC and the wonderful walk along the river!

Went for a drive to get a couple of caches and look around the area. Got to GZ and was gingerly stepping into the long grass when a rustling in the grass made me take a step backwards thinking that it may be a long slithery snake, I was suprised though when a small marsupial dashed from a metre away from me. Taking another step closer to GZ another smaller marsupial dashed out with some speed from about a foot from my feet. Whew! that was close, I could have stepped on it. Found the cache, signed the log and left a pathtag for another cacher. TFTC.
When back at home I looked up the marsupial and discovered that it was a Rufous Bettong.
When back at home I looked up the marsupial and discovered that it was a Rufous Bettong.
I intended to do more of this series but lost interest due to the long grass and the fact that there are still a few snakes about during the warm days. This one was found quickly and the log was duly signed.TFTC.
Wandered over to this one after finding another nearby cache. The view wasn't too bad from the Hill. I found the cache out in the open and replaced it where I thought it should have been. I included some booty in the cache along with a little bit of equipment for a prospector given that this is a reserve for fossicking. TFTC.
After signing the scrap of paper that would have once been a log book we wandered over to the mighty Burdekin River for a look. What a great camping spot we have noted for another visit!

Grass was a bit long in the area around the plaque, so a fellow geocacher armed with binoculars read me off the required information. A quick sum completed and armed with the final co ordinates I set off and found the cache. Log duly signed. Thanks for this little offset multi.
Heading out to the weir for a look, I decided to do a few caches that were in the area. I forgot to bring a couple of marbles that I had waiting to place in a cache. Oh well, the next one maybe. Loved the hide! TFTC.
Having heard that we were going to look at the weir today, I thought I'd better check what caches were in the area. Hmm, a mystery one! Did the puzzle and reached the correct co ordinates before heading out of town. We visited the awesome weir and reflected on what it would look like when flooding. A young fisherman filled us in on that and also what fish he had caught in the river. We then headed out to the boat ramp and these couple of caches. Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache.

An easy find in an interesting place. TFTC. However, it is a shame that the local council do not maintain this historic site. The Selheim cemetery also needs attention. Shame on Charters Towers council!
I found it! I needed the tool that I had bought specially for this cache, but, it was not enough and I had to employ the help of another cacher. Ha Ha the gold was found. A Favourite for me. TFTC.
Solved the puzzle and grabbed the cache. Noticed the many paper wasps nearby but the cache was safe. TFTC.
I was interested in this cache as my late husband went to school at Thornburgh College in the late 60's. The puzzle was completed and the cache was found easily to his little home. Thanks for this cache.

Worked my way through a couple of this series, but the long grass was a deterrent to doing all of them. The pirate was guarding the cache and I had to coax him to allow me to access it to sign the log. Good hide. TFTC.
Worked my way through a couple of this series, but the long grass was a deterrent to doing all of them. This was a good hide. Log duly signed THFC
Worked my way through a couple of this series, but the long grass was a deterrent to doing all of them. There was a muggle mowing the grass nearby when I passed on the way to Oh! Brad, luckily she had finished when I returned to grab this one. TFTC.
Worked my way through a couple of this series, but the long grass was a deterrent to doing all of them. Took a TB to move on. TFTC.
Worked my way through a couple of this series, but the long grass was a deterrent to doing all of them. I actually started from the other end and this was the last for me today in this series. TFTC.
I believe I solved the co ords for this one, however I need to come back with something to help a vertically challenged old lady! I will be back. TFTC.
A 2nd Finder. Found easily whilst transversing the littered toilet paper nearby. Thanks for the cache
I read the description of this cache a few days ago, so on the way from Charters Towers we stopped at Selheim to view the memorial to the crash. Such a lot of people to die in that accident, especially since they had survived the war. Thanks for the history lesson and thanks for the cache. I left a pathtag for a fellow cacher.
Well after a couple of attempts to solve this puzzle I noticed a mistake in the description, so I messaged the CO to confirm that mistake. He will fix it up. Then I had another couple of goes at solving before I noticed MY mistake. It would have been easier if I had printed out the description! Anyway the code checker said I was right! Yippee! The cache was found quickly, but I needed a large tool to be able to grab the log and sign it. Puzzle was a good one, cached all signed and I went to another in town. TFTC.
I remember doing a cache near here some years ago but it was closer to the main drag. This one was found easily and I left a TB for someone else to grab. After signing the log we went into the campground to catch up on the caretakers who are friends of mutual friends of ours. We chatted for some time before heading to my last cache for the day. TFTC.
Yea!!! 2000 finds!!! I went to visit this cache but was a bit nervous about the extremely long grass, so my geocache driver drove me to GZ as far as the geomobile could go. Found quickly and left a pathtag for a fellow cacher. TFTC
15-May-21
A little RUSH into the cache, all is good and dry, found a tick at GZ who travelled back to the car with me before I flicked him off. Left a pathtag for a fellow cacher. TFTC.
