Mrs Tikal heard the news while visiting her uncle in a sleepy Cotswold village in England where mobile reception is very bad. However, a text somehow managed to get through to her telling her to turn the TV on as something terrible had happened. The rest of the day was spent watching the shocking events unfold.

17:25 We had to return for this one as a young girl-muggle was sitting nearby, deep in mobile conversation with her friend. Found quickly.

This turned out to be our last cache on our extended holidy in Australia and New Zealand. 102 caches in NZ & 38 in Australia. What a great trip. Start home to the UK tomorrow. TFTC 

13:10 Having heard the legend of Phar Lap in the UK it was a great surprise to be so near his birthplace which we wouldn't have known about without this cache.

Especially as this is our 100th cache in our 3 week NZ holiday
