17-Apr-13
Looked at over under everything that the clue would allow the cache to be hidden.
No find Sad

Worth checking if it is still here. May be cache blind but....

We were here for an hour and had plenty of muggle free time to look before during and after morning tea.

Found after having lunch at the nearby Community Centre com golf course, com sports field.
Had already bought chicken burger from the general store.

Chicken burger was to be recommended. Smile

Drove to GZ and only took short time before we had cache in hand.

Finally found phone 13...yes that would have been a while ago. Big Grin

Found what we thought was GZ but nothing there, however now we are home and I have read through previous logs I suspect what we found was a decoy !!!

Also were entertained by a fisherman who told the most amazing poems he had written.
The highlight of our day.

What a lovely area this is. We had a good look around before heading home.

Must go back again. Smile

20-Mar-13
Nice quick find at lunch time. Just waited for a break both ways in the traffic to retrieve and return cache to its hide-hole.

Looked everywhere but this was a DNF today. ..again

Co-ords were definte about site, but.....I wonder, reading back over other's logs, maybe we should have spread our search wider.

Second time look and DNF for us here.
Still a trashy site, however, if co-ords are off, maybe the real GZ is better Smile

A nice quick find.

A very interesting afternoon.
Thank you for organising the geocaching part of the day griz4b.

Now to do our homework and find "Where, exactly?? The Bathurst Flag Staff (1815)"

Thank you for the organisation.

Aaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh........................
yet again another DNF!

I shall be back!

Drove straight past and had a 150metre walk back to get to GZ.
In dismay to begin with however it was a relatively quick find. Go with the instincts!

Quite a breeze today but there was no movement over yonder!

A lot of water must have come through here with the recent rains.

Cache however was safe and sound and dry.
Was a relatively quick find in the end.

What a difference in the station now, to what is looked like when the cache was found.

Hint was a bit confusing, but standing back and thinking like a cacher, cache was soon in hand and the log signed.

TFTC GLISS!

A nice quick find today which was great after a DNF nearby (again!!).
The log was a little damp but not too bad.

This was a DNF today, however we were given a history lesson about this place from a friendly farmer!

This was in fact a Cobb and Co Inn which was held up by Ben Hall at one stage. Ben Hall hid in the nearby gully (across the road) and the gully where he hid is now named after him.

We asked about the small windows and that was for safety!

Will be back to find this one.

07-Mar-13
Had a quick search yesterday, but stopped as a neighbour was watering his front lawn and watching me with suspicion.

Back again today with help.

Looked and looked, inhaled the lavender, husband looked like he was talking on mobile phone. Tried to keep quiet as front door was open.
Eventually the dark was making it impossible to see well and with a muggle approaching, we called it a day.

Smelt the lavender, took the perfume of lavender with us into the geomobile but left empty-handed Sad

Had returned home and had just logged find at T-Rex when this one came up!
