What a great drive and a peaceful place for a hide. Was a warm winters day (rare in these parts). Would be interesting place on a foggy day.
Cache in great condition. Took nothing, just signed log.

Good seach for clues, was good to pay attention to buildings I would have normally not given a second glance to.
Cache needs maintainance, the log is soaked.
No sign of TB.

Great little search, with some interesting history if you take time to read some of the other graves. Cache still in good condition.

First cache of the day. Still in good condition. Put a rock in hiding spot to stop cache sliding out of reach (it almost happened when I was replacing it). Took TB.
Thankyou for a great search. I live not far from here and have been reserve numerous times, but apart from walking the tracks never paid that much attention to the datail of the rock and its formation.
Wss a good way to reach my 40th cache, and my first earth cache.

Found as the last Carlsruhe group search for the day. Little damp in the cache, the log book has early signs of mould. Interesting part of the country, I wonder how people can live right next to a railway line...probably no worse than living under a flight path...
Finally found it....a bit of experience helps. I looked for this cache the very first time I used my Garmon GPS, and came up empty handed. Turns out I was always in the right spot, just didn't know what to look for...

Last cache at the top of Mt Macedon that I needed to find. Cache is in good condition, though log feels like the damp is getting to it.

Did I find the real one??? Well I found a cache which had all the required identification in it...
Went to drop off a TB today and the cache was gone...I have found it before. There is road works around at the moment ...

Nice hide, even with the freeway close by, its still rather peaceful. We rode mountain bikes in, though the dirt road wasn't that bad for even a standard car. For the more energetic, would be about a 5km return trip from the Woodend tip if you walk it. Don't take the service tracks for the railway, they are in extremely poor condition, with lots of mud holes and fallen trees blocking the path - as we found out the hard way.
Cache in good conditions, with quite a few swaps. We signed the log only.

Straight forward find, though had to wait till muggles had moved on to start the search. Signed log, left travel bug in place for another visitor to take.

Straight forward find, good hide. Was amazed that the cache wasn't wet inside, given location and the general dampness.

The barrel is gone and a brand new shiny sign now out the front. Looked around for a bit, though was a race against failing light and cold,, rainy weather. Sorry to say, I think it is gone.
To the owner: I love this winery and come out often. Would you consider a new cache somewhere close again?

Found cache wuthout problem, though if your taking children...beware of the road, it can be busy. Disappointed that the tracables listed were not there.
Easy find, but hard to remain inconspicuous. Dropped off three travel bugs. If someone is going overseas, please consider the green reindeer as it is most recent and hes not left Australia.
Found cache quite easily, though no room to leave a trackable as there are two notepads in it.

Good set of clues, easy find in diminishing light on a cold afternoon. Took travel bug, will drop him off at airport cache tomoorw.

I really liked this find. Great place to walk or ride, in fact you could spend a few hours doing the other nearby hides as well. Cache placement was very good, even with passing muggles, it was easy to look inconspicuous. Cache is in good condition. Signed the log only.

Good puzzle and nice scenery on a sunny day. Cache was straight forward find, but needs some maintainence. The log book was very damp and unusable. Only one swap item in the cache, so only a visit for me.

Great view and enjoyable hike for a late afternoon (brisk) walk. Hide was straight forward...in retrospect....the GPS lead us (my son has an interest now) in circles...sometimes over the cliff! Cache still in good condition, though only one swap item. We were going to leave a travel bug, but the last entry was 1 month ago to the day, so in fairness to the wishes of the bug creator, we will leave somewhere with more potential traffic.
The view is great, and we went on an overcast afternoon. Great place for a hide, I hope warmer weather brings more Geocaching visitors.

Easy find, but yes off the beaten track. Combine with search for cache GC1R487 'The Year 11's Caching Stash', to make the trip worthwhile.
Good hide students! Left nothing, took nothing. Signed your log - see if you can work out what the four letter designator and set of numbers mean ( the last didget is a 'z' NOT a '2'. From this and my name, you may be able to work out what I do for a job, and where I do it??
08-Jul-11
Quick find on the way home from work. Was night, didn't have a torch, but no problem, the GPS had a lock on. The log book is just about full, so might want to consider a new one soon.

Wow, what a professional hide! Well done to the creators. I will visit occassionally and courier the odd bug to the hides at Melbourne airport, hopefully to further their travels.
Signed log and left Path Tag.

Cache is in good condition ans a straight forward find. Took the screw driver, left a boat.
This is a tricky find. Read ALL the clues...otherwise you might have a pre-concieved idea of what your looking for.....as my son pointed out to me
I suspect the cache has been moved from its original coordinates, though not by much. We triangulated the position from many points and always came up with the same location, only to find it a couple of metres away.
Log was damp and fragile, needs maintenance.

Good clues and good location. Took my sons out for their first search, and proved to be a easy and fun find. If you take a bike to Woodend, you could park in the town and ride to this, as we did.
Cache had a little water in it, which we emptied out. Log book was dry

Great cache for a beginner to start with. Straight forward, good container and log book dry. Good to see we were noot the only visitor today.

Easy to find, good location. Beware if there has been recent rain, you will get wet feet/pants and the area around the GZ may be slippery.

What a great view. Lived in the area for over 10 years and didn't know that lookout was there. The cache was dry and in good condition. My swap wouldn't fit in so left everything it there. Added a little extra camoflage, but still will be obvious when you notice it.
Good clues made this cache easy to find. The cache is in a damp position but contents nice and dry. Signed log and took TB.
Not a hint of the cache. GPS had me at the right location. Checked every hiding position . Will return.
Found cache with no problem, even though I didnt quite have the full coordinates. Cache is wet inside though the replacement log book is still dry. The bag with the log is in bad repair and needs replacing soon.

Finally on third attempt, the cache was found. Could not work out clue to second waypoint, so used a little local knowledge and previous logs to locate. Good hiding position. Of course in my rush/frustration forgot to take a pen, so will revisit to sign. Bit of moisture getting into the container, so will give it a wipe out as well. If anyone can explain the second set of coordinates, I would love to know. Had fun with this, even managed to drag my son into the riddle. Thanks Feathertop.
