On Hols from England visiting the area with Mrs T's parents to see where her Grand-Parents lived. combining visits with Geocaching.
Two local ladies working in the shop came out for a smoke and advised us where we should be looking. Then came over and looked themselves and said it's not there know.

Visiting family at Golden Bay, our first time in this area as we visited NZ 6 years ago but never came to Golden Bay. A lovely area and well worth the visit.

First off we set off in the late evening to take in the cemetery (too dark to find) , Then the beach, definitely too dark for the walkway. hence the date for the following day. Family have lived here for 7 years and did not know about GC. Amazed about the whole thing. TFTC. Took NISSAN TB. Hi Back again, Found out this wants to go to Sunderland, England, we are going back in a couple of weeks, We are amazed it got as far as Leeds (England) then went half way around the world, and I thought my geography was bad [:0] Good Bye South Island We Are Heading To The North Island Today.

Saw baby seals playing in the rock pool whilst the parents where up in the higher rocks getting some rays. lovely beach, Thank You for bringing us here, parents loved it.

Oh Dear, Came all this way from England, and did not find it. At GZ, Tore up the country side and still failed to find. Our DNF are stacking up in NZ.

On Holiday with Family, Thanks to Geocaching we have come to this lovely place. we had also just visited the Ngarua Caves. One of the most undamaged cave systems we have seen on our travels around the world. They are not marble white, but good collection of formations. Worth a visit.

What a fun place with all the toys. We know we did not see them all as we could see more new ones as we walked back in the opposite direction.
This is like a big nature maze for us big (older, much older) kids. Especially as Mrs T celebrating her 50th Birthday today.

Visiting from England to see family in Golden Bay. it also happens to be my 50th Birthday today. What a lovely place, water so clear and the area peaceful. Uncle (living in Golden bay) was surprised to see new info boards and viewing platforms from his last visit.

Our second visit here after a 6 year gap, this time with family.
Tide on its way out so the blow holes were thundering.
Stayed local over night so was able to visit in the morning also.
This place has a prehistoric feel about it and was actually used for a BBC documentary on dinosaurs a few years ago.

Visiting with family this time around as we were here ourselves 6 years ago, now Geocaching as well. We love the glacial scenery and the boulder strewn rivers.
