After finding a nearby cache, Sela Girls, CDAH55 and I headed to this one as Selva Girls had also been awarded **FTF** on this one at the event this morning. The coords we had been given were out, but not too far. It is not on the sign. We added our names tot he log as joint FTFs, then continued on our way. TFTC

Well disguised and very clever. Was a quick find for me. Must have been lucky. Heading to Christmas Island tomorrow.

Well disguised.Found the cache today! It's been replaced with a camo container, just like the clue suggested. Gave it a tap with my toe, and voila, there it was. Covered it back up with some leaf litter to keep it well-disguised.It seems like the original multi-cache setup had some issues with plates receding into the trees. Understandably, the cache owner simplified it for now. Still, the location is beautiful, especially with the upgrades to the island. The path circling the island made finding the cache a breeze, although I had to be careful of sneaky muggles with their dogs. Thanks for the adventure!

Very very clever. Well hidden. You should put some caches like this out in Brisbane.

Very clever. Wasn't even sure it was the cache until I saw the log book. Very clever.

This was a very quick find in a nice location.

What a journey it was to uncover this hidden gem nestled in the heart of Eliza Peatling Park! The story of Eliza Peatling, the early pioneer after whom this park is named, adds a layer of depth to the adventure.

After a brisk hike through the woods, I stumbled upon the Lock Pick Challenge cache. True to its description, the wooden box wasn't too difficult to locate, but the real excitement began when I encountered the padlock securing its contents. With a sense of determination, I looked through my car and used the wire off some old reading glasses and set to work. Despite being a novice at lock picking, I found this particular lock to be surprisingly manageable. In just a few attempts, I successfully bypassed the mechanism and unlocked the treasure trove within.I then locked the box back up and gave CDAH55 a go at pick locking and he was able to get into the lock as well. Inside the box, I discovered a wet log but was still able to write ilon it. It's always a delight to see the creativity and generosity of the geocaching community. After perusing the log book, I carefully resealed the cache for the next intrepid explorer to find. This Lock Pick Challenge was both exhilarating and rewarding, reminding me of the diverse adventures that await in the world of geocaching. Until next time, happy caching!

What does a Southerner do when it's raining and there's a constant waterfall running over their awning? Plan caches, of course!. A straightforward park and grab experience, but watch out for those pesky muggles!

This cache was a true gem! The combination of the lab cache challenge and the mystery cache hunt made for an unforgettable experience. Retrieving the cache using the tree fishing pole added an extra element of thrill to the adventure. Signed the logbook. Thanks to the cache owner for creating such an inventive and enjoyable geocaching experience!Happy Caching!

Just realised after my recent trip to Darwin that I now qualify for this challenge cache. Signed the logbook with CDAH55 ages ago when we were working in the area.Dora the Explorer!](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Dora%20the%20Explorer!) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9TYMA/68945 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Dora the Explorer! qualifies for combo grid: region (8) x type (8)

Ooh just discovered that I qualified for this challenge without even knowing it. Must have happened on my recent trip to Darwin. Darwin has a lot of challenges. Some are very difficult such as finding a cache in every state of Australia within 12 months, but it is only rated 1.5/1.5. When I was in Darwin I wasn't even going to bother with the challenge caches there but I am glad I did. I had forgotten all about this challenge and was just going through my list now. We stumbled upon the 'Sunrise at Noosa Beach' geocache during a delightful morning stroll at Noosa Spit reserve. The cache was exactly where the description indicated, near the carpark, making it easily accessible. We exercised caution to maintain stealth amidst the bustling activities nearby. Signing this log brings a sense of accomplishment, blending nature's beauty with the thrill of geocaching. Thanks to the cache owner for placing it in such a picturesque spot. Happy Geocaching!

**FTF**Won the prize allowing me to claim FTF. A great idea. What a delightful surprise stumbling upon the AtTheLakeHouse birthday party geocache event at Cooroy Lions Park! The atmosphere was filled with excitement as fellow geocachers gathered to celebrate the 5th geoversary. The cake was a delicious treat, and the company was even better. Thanks to the hosts for organizing such a memorable event. Can't wait for the next adventure!

Qualify for the hard parts but now have to wait for the d/t I need that are closer to home.

Ignore the hint. New hint motorcycle parking. What a magical spot! The Noosa Spit truly lives up to its reputation as a popular destination. The views here are absolutely stunning, and there's so much to explore with the various walks and cycling tracks around.Cache Description: The cache I found is a cleverly camouflaged 250ml Sistema Waterproof container, conveniently located near the carpark. Inside, I discovered a few swaps, a logbook, and a stash note. Note to self: Bring your own scribble stick next time!Special Mentions: A big congratulations to jasenjanine for being the First to Find (FTF)!Note: Given the popularity of the area, it's important to be discreet to avoid attracting unwanted attention. Make sure to cover the cache properly to prevent accidental discoveries by muggles or the local scrub turkeys.Happy Caching!

"Found this little magnetic marvel nestled in nature's nook! It's like finding a tiny treasure in the great outdoors, a real magnetic attraction! Thanks for hiding it in this picturesque park, it's truly a cache of tranquility amidst the chaos of life. And hey, even though it's nano-sized, it still packs a mega punch of fun! Happy caching!"

Information received that this one was still not found and the cacher was struggling with it. Attended and started to look and it was found. Quite a tricky find. Found with CDAH55, Spikey Mikey and Selva Girls.

I spotted it. CDAH55 signed it. I climbed it and CDAH55 replaced it. Quick find of this tiny bison.

Great spotting and retrievel by CDAH55. I signed the log and CDAH55 placed back.

Well this was high up. I did the retrieving and CDAH55 did the place back and Selva Girls did the spotting. The lady from the council lives at the property nearby and now knows about the cache.

Dear Geocaching Community,What a delightful morning it was to kick off May Day festivities in Morton Bay! The scent of sizzling bacon and eggs wafted through the air as we gathered near the Big Tank on Main Street. The May Day in Moreton Bay Placement Team graciously extended their invitation for us to share breakfast, and what a feast it was!The aroma of breakfast delights mingled with the anticipation of geocaching adventures. As we enjoyed our morning meal, chatter filled the air, blending the excitement of catching up with old friends and the thrill of meeting new ones. The BBQ at ANZAC Park behind the Tank provided a perfect spot for those who brought their own breakfast goodies, and for those who forgot, fear not, sausages and bread were plentiful. With bellies full and spirits high, we set off on our geocaching journey, knowing that the day held promises of hidden treasures and memorable encounters. The Main Street offered ample parking for our vehicles, and the gazebo provided welcome shade for those seeking respite from the morning sun.As we ventured into the day, we were reminded of the beauty of community, friendship, and the thrill of exploration. Thank you to the May Day in Moreton Bay Placement Team for organizing such a wonderful event, and to all who attended, for making it truly special.Until our next adventure.

Good spotting by CDAH55. That's a little one. Signed Log. Saw some passion fruit and lots of lantana nearby.

Took awhile to find. I don't know why. I found lots of wasp nests and a very long snake skin that fell apart in my hands.

This was a very fun find log and place back. Couldn't see it from the ground so I just started climbing. My over 50 year old body enjoyed this. I had so much fun that I didn't want CDAH55 to miss out, so CDAH55 did the climb with his 67 year old body also. I had to give him some coaching to tell him where to put his various body parts. We both felt a sense of achievement after accomplishing this climb where others have failed.

This took us awhile to find and I even climbed the tree part way. CDAH55 spotted the cache and I completed the tree fishing from where I was standing in the tree making it much easier to catch release and return.

We looked Hugh and low and low and high and eventually found the cache. Was bigger than I expected. Don't over think it.

A quick find here. Next time I should read the hint. Was a fun find.

Today, our geocaching journey took us on an exciting adventure to uncover the cache. Armed with our trusty tree fishing pole, we navigated through the wilderness, following the clues and hints, until we reached the hidden cache.Challenges: The real challenge began when we reached the cache location. With keen eyes and steady hands, we maneuvered the tree fishing pole skillfully, attempting to reach the cache nestled high above. It took patience, teamwork, and a bit of trial and error, but eventually, we triumphed and retrieved the elusive cache.Discovery: Finally, the moment of discovery arrived as we opened the cache container. Inside, we found the logbook. Signing our names proudly, we added our mark to the growing list of adventurers who had successfully completed this unique geocaching challenge.Gratitude: We extend our heartfelt thanks to the cache owner for creating such an engaging and memorable experience. This tree fishing pole adventure will be fondly remembered as one of our favorite geocaching expeditions.Until the next adventure,

Another quick find here and wasn't sure if I had the correct co ordinates but thought I would give it a go anyway. Found quickly.

Avenged a previous DNF on this cache. Last time I was here there were some naughty plants nearby and I didn't want to hang around. This time found at low tide with CDAH55 who fell in the mud.

This was a fun easy climb and find and sign and return. Looks a lot harder than it is. Just give it a go. I see that you have to sign the log to claim the find but it seems some people don't. I am over 50 and was able to do this.

Today's adventure led me to the historic remnants of Campbellville, a once-thriving sawmilling town nestled along the banks of Coochin Creek. Founded in 1881 by James Campbell, this quaint settlement flourished with activity, housing a sawmill, wharves, residences, and essential amenities such as a store, post office, and school. As I ventured through the foliage of the reserve, I couldn't help but imagine the bustling scenes of yesteryears, where Bunya pine, cedar, and hardwood timber were harvested from the nearby Blackall Range and transported downstream to the sawmill by bullock teams and steamships like "Mavis."The demise of Campbellville came with the arrival of the railway, altering the transportation dynamics of the timber industry and prompting the relocation of the sawmill to Albion in Brisbane. With the departure of workers and the shift of operations, Campbellville faded into obscurity, its buildings relocated or left to succumb to time. The rediscovery of Campbellville's remnants in 1966 during forestry work reignited interest in its history. Today, the site stands as a testament to the perseverance of those who once called it home, with the Campbellville Cemetery serving as a poignant reminder of the town's past. After a trek through the overgrown vegetation, I finally reached the designated coordinates, uncovering the geocache tucked amidst the echoes of Campbellville's narrative. With each find, we pay homage to the resilient spirit of communities lost to time, ensuring their stories endure for generations to come.Happy caching!
