I'm back in New Zealand for a short time after being away for four and a half years. It's the last week before I head back to the UK so I decided to spend some time in the centre having a look around and grabbing some caches. Down here to finish off the nearby adventure lab so it was a no brainier to walk over to this gz. Another quick find here. Tftc

I'm back in New Zealand for first time in four and a half years. After spending the last few days in the Manawatu, Waikato and Auckland, I'm heading back up to northland for more family time. Lunch break in Kaiwaka and a quick stop for a cache which was easily found. Tftc

I'm back in New Zealand for first time in four and a half years. After spending the last few days in the Manawatu, I'm heading back up to Whangarei, but I stopped in Cambridge last night to break up the journey. I've got no time commitments today until I have to be at my friend's place in Auckland, so I've planned a few caches to search for on the way. A quick find here. Tftc

Love the YouTube BTW. Tftc

Im back in New Zealand for the first time in four and a half years. Im here for just over three weeks visiting the family. Nice to see a number of new caches about, in places that I have found caches before. Road trip today to head down the island to visit more family. I dont have any time constraints so can stop for a cache or two on the way. A quick check shows that i qualify for and it was a quick find.[Pushn_East](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Pushn_East) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9N3GM/66796 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.

I’ve discovered many wonderful places through geocaching - sights throughout New Zealander, the UK and Europe, that are off the beaten track, that I would never have discovered without caching. Here’s one of my favourite castles in Scotland and the site of a adlab

Over on this side of Northland to put out the long line with Dad. It’s my last couple of days left in New Zealand before heading off to the UK indefinitely on my latest OE so I’m squeezing in a few activities to make the most of the last of the kiwi summer.
A quick find here. Cache does appear to be a magnetic for sand but all is dry inside. My last cache in New Zealand for the foreseeable future as I’m off to the UK for an extended period. TFTC

Up in Whangarei to spend time with the parents before shipping out to the UK for the foreseeable future. However the parents are currently away on their South Island trip so I’ve got a few days on my own to fill.
Can’t remember when I solved this puzzle and can’t remember how I solved it either. I know it was a good couple of years ago that I solved it, and I have been to the spot on my visits to Onerahi only once as I was under the impression that tree climbing was involved in the cache retrieval - a fair assumption given the cache attributes on the page and the hint given by the CO both on the page and on the geochecker.
However, on scoping out a couple of caches to do today, I read the logs of this one to find that the CO replaced the cache a couple of years ago and it was not longer up a tree and accessible from the ground and has been so for a couple of years. Yet both the cache page and geochecker still imply that tree climbing is required, which is very frustrating and should be amended.
Based on this new knowledge, I took a break from my busy schedule and made my way to the gz. Spotted the cache within a couple of minutes and retrieval was a bit gingerly as it was high tide at this time and I didn’t (1) want to drop the cache in the drink and (2) get my feet wet. Signed log and managed to return cache while remaining dry. TFTC (but please update the cache attributes and hints for future seekers)

I'm up in Whangarei visiting my parents for one last time before I head over to the UK for the foreseeable future - however they are currently on their last leg of their south island tour, so actually aren't home at the moment, so I've got some time on my hands.
Woke up early this morning and after a quick look out of window into the darkness at the weather, I decided that I would head down Waiwera/Kaukapakapa way, to collect some caches in the Route 66 series.
Heading to the main portion for my plan for the day and you would not believe it, but my phone starts acting up and cannot zero in on my location. Managed to figure out where this one was though and a quick and easy find again. TFTC

I did look at doing all the multi caches in Waipu, but the other three seemed to be more trouble than they were worth, so I decided to settle for just this one instead. A quick and easy solve at a remarkable playground and a quick and easy find of the final cache. Giving it a FP for location. Last one for the day, heading for what is currently home. TFTC
