Damn, a sunbather right at GZ. With the weather so delightful today I dont expect them to move any time soon.

As I work here I thought Id better sort this one out. Luckily I knew where all the locations were so I could grab the info quickly. The final coords had me a few metres out so I walked around a little to let the satellites catch up to me and finally the compass pointed me to something more likely. Excellent camo, although it was soaked when I retrieved it. With the signing duties completed I headed back up to street level to meet my tour group.

Great turn out for this dinner event. The joint was jumping and despite being a tad noisy, we all had a great meal and were able to collect ourselves outside for the information dissemination part of the evening.

Awesome city cache. Simple, uncomplicated, tourist friendly and well made/stocked. Added a photo of what Melbourne outside looks like today. Stamped my handy dandy geocaching notebook.

Wow, the harbour side is pumping. Live music as at the bar below, people relaxing on the lawn and lights all over the Harbour Bridge, Luna Park and the city. So lucky to live in this city.

On our way to see the No Such Thing as a Fish show tonight, under the shells, and with plenty of daylight left, we needed to check out this MrTFTC cache. I know there was another cache around here in the past and Im pleased to see this option here.

Somehow I found myself in Caringbah today and thought I should make an effort to find a cache in the Shire before crossing back to the mainland. I parked quickly and headed to the drain. Checked my coords again and understood the hint, which made for an easy find. The water must really rage through here when the drains are full.
The upside to midweek caching, no muggles. The downside, no parking. Sadly a DNF on this one today.

Its been a loooong time since Ive been up here, not since my young giant was still small. Before doing some volunteering at the Murama Healing Space, I had enough time to make the find without muggle disturbance (too early and too grey). I enjoyed the view too, as I dont want to come up here too often.

With our trip to Callala almost at an end, there was just the power trail left to do. My main concern was potential ticks as our group had been unlucky and collected a few between us. The boardwalk section was cool and it was interesting to see all the different environments along the journey. All caches were found reasonably straightforwardly (signed as IM ZEBRA) and I enjoyed seeing this part of the local natural environment. Thanks for placing and maintaining mistysoho.
Nice to have a bonus for finishing off the series. But we could have found this yesterday when hanging around eating ice cream! That really was a cache right under our noses. Once we found this cache, our group parted ways and headed home. We had an excellent weekend caching around Callala and Jervis Bay.
A sand forest seems close to being an oxymoron but here it is. Another interesting ecosystem.
Nice to have plenty of bush retained and the creep of overdevelopment hasnt made it to this part of the world.
Picking up all the caches in the area over the long weekend. A straightforward find.
Well that was much trickier than I expected, but that was thanks to the clever camo. Despite looking all over the structure very well, we came up short and resorted to a PAF. Just as we were leaving the ferry showed up, but it looked like a quiet time on the passenger front.
The mosaics are brilliant. Well worth a stop. Although when we first drove past we thought it was a bus shelter gone wrong. An excellent initiative and great example of public art.
Found on our last morning in the area. I wonder if there will ever be a bridge from Myola to Husky?
After a big weekend spent with caching buddies, I saw the newly published caches come through on the drive home. When I saw where the hide was my first thought was Lugano Spring Fair, and then all the sport. aubeasty was able to grab his first *FTF* and make for an excellent end to the long weekend. Great spot and the beginning of an exciting hiding adventure for the CO. Well done.
This is a super cool path. I love the inlays, the messages and the infrastructure. We will certainly need to bring the bikes back here and explore the area on two wheels.
It seemed like an odd spot on the map, a big island in the middle of houses, so it was great that we could come and investigate. Excellent camo and all in good order here.

I did pick up some rubbish, but I spent some lovely time on the beach in the afternoon shade watching doggos frolicking.

Another great pick for a venue. Not sure if its busy like this normally, but it was packed full of people this long weekend.

Im not gonna lie, the nacho bowl here was THE BEST! Big bowl of food, plenty of chips and very satisfying. Five stars. Atmosphere here was great with games and music. We stayed for the lucky raffle draw but none of our attendees won.
Having friends just across the road, it was obvious that we would grab this when visiting Nowra.

Despite being in the park of my first ever hide, I'm 95% sure I won't be able to make this. Congrats to GeoLorikeet for a year of supporting GeoMonkeyAU in his geocaching adventures.

Thank you for brining us here Mr TFTC for this cache. Ive been here many times and its changed a bit, but the story of the angel remains.
Id been here before and missed the chance to do the multi then so with a bit of preparation I knew to plan my trip better. An excellent set of waypoints, all so interesting individually, but when added together, it makes for a great day out. Highly recommend for your trip to the South Head area. Thank you Elev8!on [mrnoo17].

Thank you to everyone who attended. It was a great chance to catch up with cachers old and new. Weather was super, treats were tasty and the puppos were well behaved.

Reminder to BYO chairs as there are none at the park. Weather is looking good and Im looking forward to seeing you all!

I brought some muggle friends here and I think they were expecting to see a structure! But the cache was found quickly and we enjoyed imagining the history of the mill.
This is a redemption find for me as I tried looking for this one many years ago and failed. This time with more pairs of eyes, we were successful. Shame to hear about the recent robbery.

Made it to the second round this year, Im improving (or getting luckier). I was knocked out by Swampy which was kind of poetic seeing as we had only just met.
12-Aug-24
A delightful find this afternoon with spectacular views, all within walking distance of accommodation. The cache is in excellent condition and it was such a good play on words/theme.

Teaming with muggles today. Highly recommend approaching this NOT on a Sunday morning.
17-Jul-24
Argh, I can't join ya me hearties as there be some votin' papers for me to fuss about with on that day.

This has been a long time coming for me. I love the stories that cemeteries hold and with this one being the oldest remaining cemetery it had everything going for it. Except for the soggy ground and mud, that was no fun. Cache was found in a bit of a different spot than noted, but close enough. Nice to tick this one off, thanks richary.
A great in plain sight cache. We even saw a team in testing going by.
We did come into the garden, but being winter, it wasnt in bloom. Nice placement. Will need to come back when the full display is on show. Thanks coastblue.

Checked, all good here. Gardens have grown since originally hidden so follow the hint for easy access.
