Found whilst other half fishing. Nice park. I've been through seymour lots on the drive to Canberra and always missed this part of town.
Found whilst the other half attempted unsuccessfully to find fish. Thanks for the entertainment.

My husband proposed to me here nearly 3 years ago. Nice to re visit. It's one of my most favourite places in the world. Did a 9.2 km hike today on Mount Macedon. Awesome day!

Nice easy find. Walked from caravan van whilst camping - it was a good walk! Best not to drive unless you like dirt tracks. beautiful view. This walk was the highlight of my holiday - thank you!

Very cool. I wouldn't have found this spot without the caches. The fence makes it look like private property but its obviously not. I enjoyed the bushwalk up here. It's nice to see them preserving the bushland and I look forward to coming back to find the rest of the series.
This was fun to find. Very cool container. I did hear rustling in the nearby bushes so be careful for snakes.

Nice quick drive by on the way home. Walked straight up to this because I have seen similar hides. Very cool caching case.
Easy enough to find, but there are a few bongs here. Not kid friendly. Lots of swaps. Took nothing, left bottle opener.

Nice easy find. Amazing that there's a swimming pool here. I can't believe how far out this area has developed. I still remember when brookfield was brand new. The park and creek walking areas are well maintained.
Found with my nephews. Easy find and a great size cache. This is a great place for caching. Safe and fun for kids. And theres normally an ice cream truck near the main playground on weekends.

This one had me a little creeped out and on the museum victoria spider identification web site. Big ugly thing crawling under the cache which I found after walking through a massive spider web. I think it was a mouse spider which is fairly harmless. I really should get some gardening gloves. Sad to see this place is relocating. It's a part of our history and nice having it in the country.

Easy find. Nice walk. I continued along the river away from the golf course. Peaceful and relaxing. It's amazing to see the houses over looking the river. I'm very jealous of the views they have. Will return shortly for the lerdie links walk.

Well I'm off on the Domino trail today. The highlight being seeing two echidnas and a wallaby in the wild. First time on a 10 km bushwalk. Thanks for putting this together, it's a beautiful spot. Also the echidnas I spotted by turning right at the junction and walking about 5 mins. I wonder if they're regularly here. Mid way through rain and lightning kicked in. So much for my 33 degree day - but determined i pressed on completing a loop totally 12.3 km.

Well my nephew was begging for just one more cache so I decided to give this one a second try. This time armed with my portable GPs instead of just mobile phone. With a bit more experience in hides I was able to find this one. Once again a lot of time and effort gone into camouflaging it. Very creative.
This is why a like caching. I would know this was here otherwise. It's like you get all the local knowledge instantly
Delayed in Bacchus Marsh, I thought time for a second try at this one. I like hides where you can see time and effort has gone into it. My nephew (the middle one) got his intro to geocaching today. Checked out the bakery across the road. we each had a mini cake - bacchus marsh has the best coffee shops!
Fun drive. My car was not made for this. Wonder why there's a dead kangaroo upside down tied to the fence. Is it to scare foxes away? Or geocachers?
My first large cache. Another creative hide. So many travel bugs! I let them be though cos my nephew wanted to pick something he could keep. I will be revisiting this one. it's a great idea.

Found this one on a morning walk on the last day of my holidays. I hunted for a good 15 mins and nearly gave up - missing the blindingly obvious. Then found it as i was leaving. Very interesting little spot. Thanks for the walk

Found on my way to the market on the last morning of my holidays. This is my first every multicache. Thanks for making it a simple one. Quick and easy.

Found it whilst staying in the city and using bike share to get fit. Why two florists next to each other. Strange. I remember there used to be a 24 hour florist around here somewhere - not sure if it's still here. Easy find with the gps. Without it I would have been scratching my head for a while. I'm used to caching in the bush - these hiding places are all new for me.
This was a simple easy find. Well worth the drive. Magnificent view. I will be coming back here. It's a favourite for me.
The Gps co-ordinates were a little off on this one, but the hint pointed me in the right direction. Have wanted to explore this area for a long time. Drive gisborne to melton road all the time. The cache gave me an excuse and a slight detour on the way home.

I had fun with this one. THe gps said it was only half a km, but of course it didn't allow for the zigzagging up and down the hill. My short stroll turned into a full bushwalking adventure. Am impressed by the picnic ground reachable only by walking - not by car. Enjoyed reading about the history of this place and trying not to fall in the river whilst I hopped the stepping stones which were definately not steady. THe river doesn't look easily crossable at first glance. Look a little closer and you'll see the stepping stones - at the moment it's one foot deep. Lots more exploring to do here. I plan to come back. Left geocoin for whoever is brave enough to cross the river.

Nice excuse to take my youngest nephew to the park. Kept me occupied while he played
Babysitting for two geonephews today. This proved to be a nice walk in a quiet bushland area mainly used by owners. It was a fun start to our geo day. Picked up geo coin.
I took out my water backpack for a test bushwalk. It worked well. Picked the one rainy day in ages to go explore the bush. I've been up here a few times before but haven't explored it properly. Some of the views were magnificent. Going up and down the hills was fun - I fell on my butt twice on the first one. Parked at the second car park so I got a longer more adventurous walk. Look forward to coming out here for the other closeby cache.

Today is my first day with a proper GPS unit. Time to test it out and start off the month with a massive amount of steps for my work fitness challenge. Park is so much bigger than I realised and full of wildlife. I got to see kanga's and rabbits. Am looking forwards to revisiting to complete the cache run
