In GTown today to attend Neville_devil's birthday event. Stopped here before the event and made the quick calculation. Of to GZ with no luck. Keen to get to Neville's birthday, I thought I would return another day. Whilst at the event, caught up with many and ExplorerChuck also mentioned a dnf here. Ok game on, we are going back! In GTown today to attend Neville_devil's birthday event. This was an interesting AL. So much work has gone into creating this. Thankyou!!I found what was needed at WP1 but struggled with the answer. With some help I was back on track. After the event, LeeLee returned with ExplorerChuck to complete the AL and bonus. Absolutely loved the journey here and also picked up some local knowledge too. We also saw some kids fishing down at the rocks, and they were wrapped when they caught an eel. Thanks The_Easter_Bunnies. Team work certainly paid off with this one. We had a fantastic weekend and loved catching up with everyone for the event. Great to see so many people making a camping weekend of it too. We will be camping Fri and Sat night. The weather looks to be shaping up for a nice weekend. We will have our caravan. If anyone is swaging/tent etc, we have cooking gear, kettle, cooking plate for the fire, which we are happy to share so you don't have to pack all the gear. Last we saw it was $5 per night for unpowered, $15 power. Honesty box system. New toilets and shower block. For the lunch event....we will be putting on a sausage sizzle (meat). BYO any dietary requirements. Looking forward to it

After hosting an event at Sanatorium Lake we headed here with 2beez. A spot we never knew of after living and many adventures here. The water flowing was so beautiful, as were the maiden here ferns as ground cover that we have never seen in abundance in the wild. It's a really lovely spot to find. This is what caching is about! Ticking off the last few in this area one at a time now to get more walks in rather than grab them all at once.As today's target, this did not disappoint!The way down wasn't too bad and more importantly, the way up was not as savage as I'd thought it would be.Very picturesque part of the river at GZ, running strong with plenty of water, birds, frogs and the wild flowers are all coming out along the track in.Dropping a fave here for sure.The container was wet inside, but the bag had kept the logbook safe, all dried out now, hopefully it stays that way.Thanks 3up for brining me to this very special spot. 

I remember when this pub went by the wayside.We've had this solved for quite a while now and Crackers decided today was the day after visiting the old man after work for the day after Father's Day.Rolled up on site, had a look in the likely spots with no luck, then eventually spotted the prize.Luckily a nearby TOTT was on offer and the find was made.Thanks deanside for the cache.Wonder if the old pub will ever resurface? 

Today's target was this event in Castlemaine followed by some caching, Ad Labs and some scouting around.What a great spot! LeeLee has already told Crackers she is bringing him here for a schnitzel. After the event, micaparamedic and I set off for a few caches, although he had already done them. We drove past this one when MP mentioned there was a cache.
